Xu Guiying is off today and came here specifically to wait for Xu Songyuan.
As soon as the siblings met, Xu Songyuan straightened his hunched back and spoke in a louder voice.
"Big sister, how long have you been waiting for me?"
Xu Guiying: "I didn't wait long before I sat down and ordered a bowl of noodles."
Xu Songyuan's lips were chapped, and Xu Guiying frowned when she saw it.
"Eat the noodles first, we'll talk later."
There are too many people and too many eyes in the noodle shop; it wouldn't be good if someone overheard us.
Xu Songyuan ate quickly, and ten minutes later, the siblings walked out of the noodle shop.
"Big sister, where are we going now?"
Xu Guiying: "You'll know when you get there."
Xu Guiying led Xu Songyuan to Song Zhicheng's shop.
When there were fewer people around, Xu Songyuan finally spoke:
"Big sister, you're right to suspect it. Xu Zhongtang didn't even participate in the drug trials!" Xu Songyuan recounted the entire scene at the hospital.

Lu Hui and Song Qiumin were both in the shop.
Song Qiumin: "Auntie."

Xu Guiying first introduced Xu Songyuan's identity: "Second sister-in-law, this is my younger brother, Xu Songyuan. He is here today to borrow Qiumin for a while."

Xu Guiying thought for a moment, "Then let's go tomorrow. Qiu Min and I will go to Luo'an Town first."
Xu Songyuan: "Okay, I'll talk to Xu Xue when I get back tonight."
Next, Xu Guiying took Xu Songyuan back to Heping Lane for lunch. Xu Songyuan returned to Luo'an Town at around 4 p.m.
I ran into Xu Zhongtang on the way.
Xu Zhongtang squinted and saw Xu Songyuan, who was walking like a snail not far away, and called out, "Brother, how is it?"

Around 7 p.m., Xu Xue went home.
"Dad, why did you take out the savings book?"
Xu Songyuan sighed: "Xiaoxue, with my current health, I probably won't be around for long. I'll go withdraw the money for you tomorrow, so that I can at least give you an explanation."
Xu Xue's eyes widened immediately.

Xu Songyuan continued, "Then I'll go get it and give it to you tomorrow night."
Xu Xue: "Whatever, it has nothing to do with me anyway."
After Xu Xue finished speaking, she went inside. She had eaten outside and was not going to pay any attention to Xu Songyuan.
Xu Songyuan put away the savings book and then cooked noodles to eat.
The next morning, Xu Xue went to work.
After having breakfast, Xu Songyuan kept a close eye on what was happening in the house next door.
Soon they heard Sun Xiumin scolding Xu Peng, telling him to stay home obediently today and not to go out, lest he be tricked into gambling again.
Xu Peng didn't care about anything else and quietly slipped down the hillside.
Xu Songyuan took another convenient path down the mountain. He walked slowly, specifically to wait for Xu Peng.
Xu Peng quickly caught up with Xu Songyuan.
"Uncle, where are you going? Aren't you going to work?"
Xu Songyuan coughed, "I'm going to town to get the money."
Xu Peng's eyes widened suddenly.
What money do you need to withdraw?
Xu Songyuan sighed and told Xu Peng what he had said to Xu Xue the night before.
A glint of light flashed in Xu Peng's eyes.
At such a young age, only fifteen or sixteen, his mind is already wandering and he's not thinking about anything serious.
