Xu Guiying didn't wait for Song Anmin; she rode her bicycle out of Heping Lane.
Song Anmin's bicycle was bigger than his mother's, and he caught up with her in no time.
One steamed bun in his mouth, the other in his hand.
With his mouth moving around, he ate the steamed bun, and then used the same method to finish another one.
They arrived in Luo'an Town at 7:30 a.m. It was market day, and there were quite a few people in the town. The villagers of Xingfu Village were also going to work in the fields.
Xu Guiying and Song Anmin, two strangers, went directly to Xu Songyuan's house.
Xu Songyuan disappeared early in the morning; no one was home.

Song Anmin emerged from behind Xu Guiying and said, "You look more like a thief to me, sneaking around like that. What's wrong, trying to steal something again?"
Unable to win the argument, Sun Xiumin sheepishly retreated.

Song Anmin chuckled, "Uncle!"

Xu Guiying frowned. "Why kill the chicken if it's meant to lay eggs? Just eat whatever you like. Come in with me first."
Xu Songyuan put down his hoe and followed him into the house.
