Chapter 227 Problems at Work

After Song Rongrong returned home, Song Yingying stayed with her at night.

Song Yingying is also going abroad at the end of August, and she is listening to Song Rongrong talk about her school abroad.

"Yingying, don't be afraid. It's actually very simple. Studying abroad is just that simple. Anyway, you're good at foreign languages, so you'll be able to understand what you hear when you go abroad."

Song Yingying: "That's what my brother said too. Let's not talk about this anymore. Fourth Sister, is Yan Huai still bothering you?"

Song Rongrong didn't want Song Rongrong to worry, so she said no.

Yan Huai's family was relatively well-off, at least he didn't have to worry about living expenses, and he had more free time than Song Rongrong, so he would come to see Song Rongrong whenever he had nothing to do.

After such a messy breakup, Yan Huai still had the nerve to come looking for her.

I don't know where he got his confidence from.

This is probably what men are like.

The two sisters didn't fall asleep until after 11 p.m.

As if on cue, Yan Huai arrived at Heping Lane the very next day. He said he was Song Rongrong's classmate and had come to deliver some materials to her. He asked for directions and arrived at the gate of the Song family's house.

Grandma Song opened the door.

Grandma Song didn't recognize Yan Huai and called out "Song Rongrong".

Song Rongrong left the room, rolled her eyes at Yan Huai, and said to Grandma Song, "Grandma, I'm going out to talk to him for a bit and I'll be right back."

Grandma Song smiled and said, "Go ahead, go ahead."

Song Rongrong led Yan Huai directly to the edge of the field behind, where there were fewer people.

"Yan Huai, what brings you here? Is something wrong?"

Yan Huai pursed his lips. "Rongrong, didn't we agree to go to the movies today?"

Song Rongrong thought Yan Huai was crazy. "I didn't agree to go. You'd better leave now!"

Yan Huai persisted, "Rongrong, I was out of my mind before. I know I was wrong. Can't you give me another chance?"

Song Rongrong frowned: "Impossible! Don't come to my house again, we have nothing to do with each other!"

Song Rongrong had said this countless times, but Yan Huai seemed not to understand.

Yan Huai didn't give up. He had been with his junior sister before... He admitted that it was his male chauvinism that made him like the submissive type. But after going abroad, he finally realized that he still loved Song Rongrong and admired her indomitable spirit.

Song Rongrong was annoyed by his expression, wondering what mischief he was up to.

She pushed Yan Huai away and was about to go home.

Yan Huai followed right behind her.

Back at the entrance of the Song family mansion, they unexpectedly ran into Qin Zheng.

Qin Zheng nodded to Song Rongrong, then his gaze fell on Yan Huai behind her.

Song Rongrong asked doubtfully, "You've come to see Yingying?"

Qin Zheng nodded and said, "Pick her up for lunch."

Song Rongrong: "Then let's go in first."

Qin Zheng looked away and went inside, followed by Song Rongrong.

As soon as she stepped over the threshold, Song Rongrong turned around to close the door.

Yan Huai reached out to stop him, "Really not going?"

"No way, no way, no way! Get out, get out, get out!" Song Rongrong raised her fist. "If you do it again, I'll beat you up!"

Qin Zheng stood behind Song Rongrong, his gaze coldly fixed on Yan Huai.

Yan Huai frowned, took one last look at Song Rongrong, and then left.

Song Rongrong closed the door, and Qin Zheng's voice rang out.

"He's been bothering you?"

Song Rongrong didn't intend to talk about her private matters. "Occasionally, it just so happens that I'm here today. Don't tell Yingying, I can handle it myself."

Qin Zheng hummed in agreement, "Don't worry, I'm not a gossip."

Song Rongrong found Qin Zheng's words strange.

She returned to her room, where Song Yingying was packing her schoolbag.

"Sis, I'm going out for lunch and will be back in the evening."

Song Rongrong: "Go ahead, go ahead."

When Song Yingying went out, Qin Zheng wasn't there, and there was no one outside the door either. He must have gone out first. She greeted her grandparents who were busy in the kitchen before leaving.

Song Yingying ran out with her schoolbag on her back and saw Qin Zheng talking to a man.

As I approached, the person had already gone far away.

"Brother, who is that?"

Qin Zheng: "Let's go, you who asked for directions."

They went to the He family's house for dinner today; it's Grandma He's birthday.

...

Since returning home, Song Rongrong has spent most of her time at her uncle's house, where Song Jianmin keeps her up with extra lessons.

They claimed that his fourth sister, who was studying abroad, had to be responsible for his college entrance exam.

“Song Jianmin, you think it will take you twenty minutes to solve this problem? I can easily solve it in five minutes with my feet.”

Song Jianmin sullenly said, "So I was right in the end, right?"

"It's a good thing you did the right thing. If you had done it wrong, you would have been incredibly embarrassing!"

Song Jianmin was furious. "Song Rongrong, you have good grades, so what?!"

Song Rongrong chuckled.

"I'm a little bit better than you."

Song Jianmin sneered, refusing to admit defeat, and continued practicing his problems.

July arrived just like that.

Song Jianmin and Chen Zhou went to school together on the way. Both of them were the type who could make up for their lack of talent through hard work, and they were both extremely nervous.

The two encouraged each other.

Song Jianmin: "Chen Zhou, if you pass the exam, I'll introduce you to my third brother."

Chen Zhou: "???? What did you say?"

Song Jianmin: "I just had one thought: hurry up, you can promise me a wish, so I can have something to look forward to."

Chen Zhou paused for a moment, then thought for a long time before saying, "If you pass the exam, I'll come to your house for dinner next time and bring you a plate of dumplings."

Song Jianmin always craved the chive dumplings that Grandma Song made, but no matter how shamelessly he went to her house, no one would cook them for him.

Song Jianmin patted Chen Zhou on the shoulder.

"Okay, okay! It's settled then."

The two clenched their fists and pressed on with renewed vigor.

No student taking the college entrance exam is not nervous. After entering the school, the two went to different exam rooms.

Qian Yu'an arrived early in the morning. She slept well last night and was full of energy today. She remained calm from entering the examination room to leaving the school.
