Chapter 273 Human Traffickers

The third and fifth brothers took Sun Xiumin to the police station.

Song Rongrong, Song Yingying, and Song Xiaoxiao split up into two groups. Two of them went home to tell Xu Guiying and the others, while the other went to find Xu Songyuan.

Before nine o'clock, the police station was already packed with people.

Several months later, Sun Xiumin was finally caught. To everyone's surprise, Sun Xiumin still dared to stay in the city and even worked as a sanitation worker.

"Xu Songyuan, Xu Guiying, you just wait! When I get out, don't think I'll let you off the hook!"

Sun Xiumin's main crimes include participating in robbery and theft, and actively instigating poisoning, endangering public safety. It's uncertain whether she will be released.

Song Anmin, his temper flaring, retorted, "You're old and your face has shrunk. You're so small, yet you dare to spout such threats. Oh, you're really something, aren't you? You still got arrested!"

Song Jianmin: "Sentence her to death! If she dares to use a knife today, she'll dare to kill and set fires tomorrow! People like her are just a waste of resources and a pollutant to the air!"

The police officer called out, "Quiet! Stop making noise!"

After Xu Songyuan, the person who reported the case, completed the registration process, the matter was almost settled.

Xu Guiying looked at the group and asked, "Are you all injured?"

"Mom, no, don't worry."

This incident was quite a shock to the siblings.

Sun Xiumin's unrepentant appearance was imprinted in her mind, and even Song Rongrong was indignant, cursing all the way.

Qian Yu'an and her grandparents stayed at home until Xu Guiying and the others returned.

At the entrance of the Song family's residence, Qian Yu'an, holding Guo Guo, saw the group and quickly asked, "Mom, how is it?"

Xu Guiying: "It's alright, the person has already been arrested."

Qian Yu'an breathed a sigh of relief, "That's good."

With Sun Xiumin arrested, a major worry was resolved, and Xu Songyuan's tense nerves relaxed a bit. The Song family grandparents were somewhat frightened, but thankfully, none of the children were hurt.

Song Anmin took Guoguo from Qian Yu'an's arms.

"Second sister-in-law, she didn't cry or make a fuss, did she?"

"She didn't cry, Guoguo was very good."

Song Anmin, holding the baby, left with his fifth uncle and the others.

Around August 20th, the sisters Song Rongrong and Song Yingying were going abroad. Knowing that Song Rongrong would be able to return to China next year, the Song family's reluctance to part with her lessened considerably.

After the two sisters left, Grandpa and Grandma Song also prepared to return to their hometown.

Days passed by like this.

After the start of the new school year in September, Qian Yu'an and his classmates had to go back to school. On the day of registration, Qian Yu'an, Song Jianmin, and Chen Zhou went to school together.

Chen Zhou worked at Phoenix Pavilion for several months and saved up quite a bit of money. She was quick and clever, and was also an outstanding employee among the part-time workers!

I received an extra twenty yuan bonus!

On their first day of registration, since there were no classes, the three of them went to Chenguang Park to eat dumplings.

Inside the shop, Song Yun and the helper she hired were still busy working.

Seeing the three of them approach, Song Yun greeted them with a smile, "Come on over here, what would you like to eat today?"

"Third Aunt, I want chive dumplings."

"I'd like carrot filling, thank you, Auntie."

"Aunt Song, I want the cabbage filling!"

Song Yun: "Okay, you guys find a place to sit."

It's only a little past ten o'clock, and there aren't many people in the store. It's neither breakfast nor lunchtime. Besides the three people, there's another table with people sitting in the store.

Song Jianmin sat for a while, then went to the back to use the restroom.

Qian Yu'an: "Third Aunt, what are they selling there?"

Song Yun: "The people from Inner Mongolia who came yesterday are selling dried beef and mutton."

"I'll go check on it, Zhouzhou, do you want to come?"

Let's go together.

Song Yun weighed some beef and, while waiting for the owner to give her change, listlessly looked outside.

Chenguang Park underwent another renovation during the summer vacation, with the addition of fitness facilities. Many two- or three-year-old children, mostly residents of the neighborhood, were playing in the park.

Suddenly, a little girl, about five or six years old, got out of a van across the street, came into the park, found the little girl in the pink dress sitting alone on the swing, and asked, "I have candy, do you want some? Can you play with me?"

The little girl in the pink dress grinned and said, "Okay."

The shopkeeper called out to Qian Yu'an, "Miss, here's your change, please take it."

Qian Yu'an snapped out of her daze, said "Oh," put the money in her bag, and when she looked up again, she saw the two children leaving the park and walking across the street.

"Sister Yu'an, what are you looking at?"

Qian Yu'an narrowed her eyes slightly, "Zhouzhou, I think I saw a human trafficker."

"What?"

Qian Yu'an handed the beef to Chen Zhou, then quickly walked over to the roadside and called out, "Niu Niu, come here quickly, let's go home for dinner."

The two little girls were right in the middle of the zebra crossing.

The little girl in the pink dress turned around and looked at Qian Yu'an in surprise.

Qian Yu'an quickly stepped forward and took the child's hand, "Didn't I tell you to wait for me by the swing?"

As they spoke, Qian Yu'an glanced at the expression on another little girl's face.

"Are you her mother?"

Qian Yu'an's face turned cold. "Where are you taking her?"

The little girl was so frightened that she couldn't speak.

Qian Yu'an straightened up again and quickly glanced at the van not far away. There were several figures inside. She pulled the child and hurried back.

The child looked up and said, "You're not my mom."

Qian Yu'an frowned and whispered, "Those are human traffickers!"

After crossing the zebra crossing, Qian Yu'an immediately picked up the child and ran back to the park.

Back at the swing, Qian Yu'an asked, "Where are your parents?"

The child tilted his head and didn't say anything.

Qian Yu'an poked the little girl's forehead, "You almost got tricked by human traffickers!"
