Chapter 412 Song Anmin and Wang Ya's Wedding

When Wang Ya returned home, she caught a glimpse of Song Anmin waiting for her under the eaves.

Song Anmin frowned. "Where did you go?"

The two hadn't made plans to eat today. Wang Ya said she had to work overtime tonight and asked Song Anmin not to come looking for her. Song Anmin ate dinner and then took a walk over. It's past eight o'clock now, much past Wang Ya's usual overtime hours.

Wang Ya must have gone somewhere else.

Wang Ya smiled and took out her household registration booklet from her bag. "Ta-da!"

Song Anmin remained silent.

Wang Ya lowered her head, put the household registration book into her bag, and looked up to see Song Anmin still looking at her. Wang Ya pursed her lips and said, "What are you doing?"

Song Anmin had previously agreed with Wang Ya to go back to the Wang family home together to retrieve the household registration booklet. However, unexpectedly, Wang Ya retrieved it herself without anyone noticing.

Song Anmin asked her, "Have you eaten?"

Wang Ya shook her head, "I haven't eaten. You make me something."

Song Anmin didn't move, standing still, continuing to look at her, and asked in a deep voice, "What did they say?"

Wang Ya laughed easily, "They said they wouldn't let me get married, they wanted money from me, and they wouldn't let me bring my household registration book. I tied them all up and gave them a good scare."

Song Anmin grasped Wang Ya's hand.

Wang Ya immediately fell silent, her face darkening. Song Anmin squeezed her hand and said, "I got paid today. Come on, I'll take you out for a big meal."

Wang Ya couldn't help but laugh, "What kind of fancy meal are we having?"

Song Anmin squinted slightly. "Wang Ya, stop grinning like a lackey."

Wang Ya snorted, "You're talking about a fancy meal, I need to make sure I'm not mistaken. What if you take me to eat porridge?"

Song Anmin rubbed her head. "Want some barbecue skewers? A hundred meat skewers? Or go for hot pot, to Phoenix Pavilion?"

Wang Ya: "Forget it, I don't want to move. Just make me something."

Song Anmin nodded and went into the kitchen, asking Wang Ya to come in and peel garlic for him.

Song Anmin simply stir-fried two meat dishes, ate them, and then washed the dishes.

Song Anmin lingered on Wang Ya's bed tonight, not wanting to go back. After taking a shower, he lay down and didn't move.

Wang Ya glared at him, "Hurry up! It'll be too hot sleeping together tonight!"

Song Anmin closed his eyes. "I'll buy you a cooling mat tomorrow."

Wang Ya laughed angrily, "Don't give me that!"

Song Anmin closed his eyes. "I'm really sleepy. I'm tired from work today."

After graduating, Song Anmin went straight to work and has been busy from morning till night ever since.

Wang Ya sat on the edge of the bed and gently pried open his eyelids. "You're really asleep?"

Song Anmin held Wang Ya's hand, pulled her into his arms after her bath, and held her hands and feet tightly, speaking in a serious tone:

"Don't go by yourself next time, call me along."

Wang Ya pursed her lips, "Anyway, going there will only lead to arguments, I can handle it myself."

Song Anmin pinched Wang Ya's cheek, "If you do everything, what am I supposed to do?"

Wang Ya suddenly smiled and said, "You'll be in charge of logistics."

Song Anmin snorted, "Get the hell out of here."

Wang Ya: "You're really not leaving?"

Song Anmin really didn't want to leave. He had already taken a shower. He frowned and thought for a while, then said, "I'll leave at 9:30."

It's summer now, and it gets light early in the morning. Even if the two of them haven't done anything, if Song Anmin is seen leaving Wang Ya's house early in the morning, all sorts of rumors will spread.

Wang Ya chuckled.

-

Before they knew it, it was their wedding day. The two had already registered their marriage and would move into their new house together after the wedding ceremony.

Song Anmin picked up Wang Ya early in the morning. Song Jianmin and his brothers also came. When they arrived at the restaurant, it was packed with people.

Besides Song's relatives, there were also Song Anmin's college classmates, factory colleagues, and Wang Ya's former college classmates. In addition, there were colleagues from the police station who brought their families. At a glance, everyone was an old acquaintance.

Even the most composed person can't help but feel shy at this moment.

Grandpa and Grandma Song, along with Grandpa and Grandma Qin, were seated at the head table. Song Anmin had attended countless weddings over the years and was already familiar with the process.

Xu Guiying and her husband led Song Anmin and the others to toast around the room. Most of the wine went into Song Anmin's stomach, while Wang Ya didn't drink much. After the round, she was exhausted.

Among the younger generation of the Song family, only the sisters Song Rongrong and Song Yingying are unmarried. As for Song Zhicheng's third son, Song Kangmin, and Song Yun's daughter, Song Xiaoxiao, they are too young and still in school, so they are not considered.

No one in the Song family dared to urge Song Rongrong, lest she run away in a fit of anger. Not to mention Song Yingying, who had the Qin family grandparents to take care of her.

After a long day, Song Anmin and Wang Ya returned to their new house in the evening. Wang Ya was so tired that she collapsed on the bed, not wanting to move.

Wang Ya kicked Song Anmin and said, "Hurry up and go take a shower. You take a shower first, then I'll take one."

Song Anmin glanced at her, then got up to take a shower.

Wang Ya sat up in bed, her face flushed. She looked around, surveying the entire house.

What she was most satisfied with was the osmanthus tree in the yard.

The next morning, the rising sun pierced the sky, and the morning light shone into the courtyard, falling on the leaves of the osmanthus tree. By autumn, the ground was covered in golden yellow.

Inside the room, Song Anmin was the first to open his eyes.

Hearing him make a sound, Wang Ya turned her head to look at him.

The two of them blushed deeply.

Looking at the time again, it was eight o'clock.

"Oh no! Song Anmin, it's all your fault, I'm going to be late!!!"

Song Anmin was also going to be late.

The two of them didn't even have time to eat breakfast; they just put on their clothes and rushed out of the house.

Song Anmin rode his bicycle and took Wang Ya to the other end of Heping Lane.

If the two of them rushed out in such a hurry, they would probably be laughed at by them.

As they approached the police station, Wang Ya got off her bicycle and her expression returned to normal. She waved to Song Anmin, "Go quickly, be careful on the road."

Song Anmin gave a rough "hmm" and rode away on his bicycle.

Wang Ya watched Song Anmin's retreating figure and smiled.

Wang Ya accomplished a major life event, and her colleagues at the police station were happy for her. In particular, Officer Zhao patted Wang Ya on the shoulder several times, telling her to live a good life with Song Anmin from now on.

After Wang Ya got her marriage certificate, she and Song Anmin went back to return the household registration book.

Wang Feng was the only one at home at the time. He didn't say anything, looking like he was angry but dared not speak out.

Now, Wang Ya feels a great weight lifted off her shoulders; she has a home now.
