Chapter 426 Catching the Snake

October 8th.

This is the fourth time Wang Ya has been called to kindergarten this month.

After Song Liyun started kindergarten, Aunt Sun stopped working and went to work for a new employer.

Wang Ya would pick up Song Lijun on her way home from get off work every day.

The parents of the kindergarten students all knew that Song Liyun's mother was a police officer. Teacher Gao from the junior class handed Song Liyun over to Wang Ya and tactfully asked Wang Ya to go to the office to say a few words.

Wang Ya thought to herself, "Oh no!"

I should have let Song Anmin pick my daughter up from school today!

She's a police officer; how can she be questioned by teachers every few days?

Wang Ya immediately glanced at little Song Liyun.

The little girl carried the small schoolbag her great-uncle had brought back from Hong Kong, and her hair had been re-braided into two little braids by Teacher Gao. She was eating candy and excitedly holding Wang Ya's hand, looking forward to eating mutton when they got home tonight.

Eating mutton?

Wang Ya thought to herself, "I'll give you a good beating!"

Song Liyun raised her head and called out in a childish voice, "Mommy?"

Song Liyun's little face is so deceptive. At first glance, you might think she's a well-behaved girl, an easy baby. But after just five minutes, her mischievous nature comes out, and she's practically a devil incarnate.

Wang Ya noticed her backpack rummaging around and frowned: "What's in your bag this time?"

Song Liyun blinked her big eyes, "Mom, there's nothing inside..."

Wang Ya narrowed her eyes slightly, not wanting to keep Teacher Gao waiting for too long, so she took Song Liyun over first and told her father to clean up later that night!

In the office, Teacher Gao said tactfully, "Yunyun's mother, it's like this... It's a good thing that the child has a childlike heart and curiosity, but, after all, there are other children in our kindergarten..."

Wang Ya asked doubtfully, "What did she grab this time?"

Teacher Gao couldn't help but sigh. She glanced at Song Liyun, who seemed completely oblivious. The little girl, unaware of why the flowers were so red today, was peering out the window at the playground, catching the aroma of stir-fried dishes wafting from nearby houses.

Wow, it smells so good!

Teacher Gao: "Toads. When Xiao Jie woke up from his nap, he lifted the blanket and saw two toads crawling at his feet. The child is timid and cried all afternoon."

Wang Ya almost fainted.

"A toad?!?"

Last time I caught earthworms, the time before that I caught caterpillars, and the time before that I caught dog poop!

Teacher Gao quickly said, "Yunyun's mother, don't get agitated, don't get agitated, talk to me properly."

Song Liyun turned around and cautiously looked at her mother, who was on the verge of exploding in anger. She blinked and said, "Mom, don't be angry. Getting angry will affect your health."

These are the words that Song Anmin often used to advise Wang Ya.

This troublesome daughter has learned it all perfectly!

Wang Ya was burning up from head to toe; she had never been this mischievous in her school days!

Wang Ya took a deep breath. "Teacher Gao, I'm really sorry. When we get home tonight, her father and I will give her a good talking to."

Teacher Gao touched his nose and thought to himself, "Every time I go back to educate him, it never works."

"Alright then, you should talk to the child nicely, it's only the 8th..."

Teacher Gao didn't finish what she was going to say.

Wang Ya was extremely embarrassed, "Okay."

She turned around, intending to take Song Liyun back first, when suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she saw Song Liyun's bag, which she had placed on the chair, move slightly.

Teacher Gao's expression changed slightly.

Wang Ya frowned. "Song Liyun, what are you putting in your bag again?!"

Little Song Liyun tugged at her skirt and said earnestly, "Mom, I told you, you can't be angry."

Wang Ya smiled and said, "You said, Mom won't be angry."

Song Liyun then looked at Teacher Gao.

Teacher Gao was almost in tears, but she still smiled and said, "Teacher Gao isn't angry."

Song Liyun blinked, picked up the schoolbag, and carefully unzipped it...

Ms. Gao caught a glimpse of a corner inside the schoolbag from that direction, and she immediately exclaimed!

"Officer Wang! There's a snake in the bag!!! A snake!!!"

Wang Ya's vision went black for a moment, and she felt like she was going to faint. Could she call Song Anmin to clean up the mess?

That's what she thought, but the next second Wang Ya turned around.

The little guy had already unzipped his backpack.

Wang Ya and the snake inside stared at each other.

Teacher Gao was afraid of snakes and had already screamed and run away. Anyway, Officer Wang was there, and he could handle it.

There was just a small black snake in the schoolbag, still flicking its tongue.

Wang Ya suppressed the strange feeling of numbness all over her body, grabbed it, zipped it up and walked outside, while also asking Song Liyun where she had caught it!

Song Liyun followed her mother around happily.

They were completely unaware of how earth-shattering their actions were.

"Mom, it slid in by itself. I was afraid it would scare other people, so I caught it."

Wang Ya strode confidently, "Thank you so much!!!"

Song Liyun waved her hand generously, "You're welcome, you're welcome, it's my pleasure~~~"

Wang Ya's vision went black again, and she almost lost her balance.

This snake is probably a rat snake. Wang Ya guessed it wasn't wild; it was probably stolen from someone nearby who was raising it. The snake isn't venomous, so she'd return it to its owner later.

Wang Ya called back again, "Teacher Gao, I'll take this snake back to the institute first."

Teacher Gao also realized that she had overreacted. She grabbed her small bag and ran out. She caught up with Song Liyun and said to the front, "Okay, we're coming right away."

Teacher Gao wanted to take Song Liyun's hand, but remembering that the child's claws had scratched a snake earlier that day, she resisted touching her. So she grabbed Song Liyun by the collar and led her to the police station.

When Officer Zhao saw Wang Ya return in a huff, he exclaimed "Oh dear!" and quickly looked behind him. Upon seeing Song Liyun, he clicked his tongue and shook his head, "Liyun, here you are again. You and your father are truly of the same ilk."
