Chapter 442 Meeting Tong Anqu at the Orphanage

The day after Song Xiaoxiao's wedding, Song Lijun's kindergarten organized a children's activity to bring warmth to the children in the welfare home.

Not only kindergarten, but also the neighboring primary school.

Several children who were not afraid of strangers were selected from the kindergarten.

Song Lijun was one of them.

Upon hearing that she could go out to play, Song Liyun immediately perked up, sat on the bench with her head held high, and waited for Teacher Gao to speak.

This child is good-looking and energetic.

It's hard for Teacher Gao not to notice.

At 10 a.m., four kindergarten children, along with twenty students selected from the neighboring primary school, set off in a grand procession to the welfare home.

Two teachers from the kindergarten came, each holding a child's hand.

Song Liyun looked around curiously the whole way.

When passing by the police station, she waved to the inside and shouted "Mom!" and "Uncle Zhao!"

The police station was full of familiar faces.

“Junjun.”

"Junjun, where are you going?"

Song Liyun, carrying her little schoolbag, exclaimed, "I'm going to the orphanage!"

Wang Ya came out and said, "Song Lijun, you better listen to Teacher Gao. Don't jaywalk when crossing the road, do you hear me?"

"Okay, okay."

The group walked away again.

When they arrived at the welfare home, the director was standing at the front, talking to the teachers. Song Liyun looked around curiously.

Tongtong said to Song Lijun, "Lijun, do you know that the people here don't have parents?"

Song Liyun nodded, "Of course I know, Mom told me, so we should take good care of them!"

Tongtong clenched her fist. "You're right!"

The two children whispered to each other.

Teacher Gao coughed lightly, and they all stood up straight again.

The children in the orphanage looked at them with curiosity.

Song Liyun gave a friendly smile and was soon taken by the teacher to distribute things to the children.

They brought clothes and food, which they handed to the children to distribute.

Song Liyun was assigned to distribute food to the little girls who were the same age as her.

Here you go.

The little girl gave a shy smile.

Although the two are the same age, Song Liyun looks half a head taller than the other, and her small frame looks sturdy.

"Thank you."

You're welcome.

Song Liyun then looked to the side, where a tall older brother was standing.

The tall ones were given out by the elementary school students; it wasn't Song Liyun's turn.

After delivering the gifts, Song Liyun went to play with the cats and dogs.

There was a puppy in the welfare home.

Song Lijun squatted under the eaves and made a few soft whimpering sounds. The dog then came over and rubbed against her.

Soon, Tongtong arrived, along with two other children.

With some children from the orphanage watching them, Song Liyun clapped her hands and said, "Let's play Eagle Catches Chicks!"

In just a short while, more than a dozen children stood in the open space, filled with laughter and joy.

Tong Anqu was called out by the orphanage teacher to watch over the group of children.

Tong Anqu couldn't help but look at the little boy who was playing the eagle.

The chick's tail swung towards Tong Anqu's direction.

Song Liyun immediately chased after him, only to bump into Tong Anqu.

Tong Anqu was knocked back several steps by Song Lijun and almost lost his balance and fell.

Song Liyun looked up and said, "Stand still!"

After saying that, Song Liyun continued to arrest people.

"Gotcha!"

Teacher Gao was very pleased to see this.

In kindergarten, whenever they played games, Song Liyun always liked to be the eagle, while everyone else played the chicks. She, the eagle, always ran around the most enthusiastically.

They ate lunch at the welfare home, and Song Lijun was surrounded by a group of children.

Tongtong is Song Liyun's best friend. She wanted to sit next to Song Liyun, but there was already someone sitting next to Song Liyun. Tongtong immediately rushed over and hugged Song Liyun.

"Junjun, we are the best of friends in the world!"

Song Liyun nodded, "Yes, we are best friends!"

The little girl next to Song Liyun blinked, "But didn't you just say that I'm your good friend too?"

Tongtong's eyes widened. "I'm the best."

Song Liyun: "Alright! We're going to eat!"

Teacher Gao and the teachers at the welfare home couldn't help but look over.

"This child has a really straightforward personality."

Teacher Gao nodded with a smile: "He's really mischievous."

At 3 p.m., they prepared to return to school.

The new friends waved goodbye to Song Liyun reluctantly.

Song Liyun laughed loudly: "Bye-bye! I'll come see you next time!"

Tongtong quickly grabbed Song Liyun's hand, "Liyun, we have to go!"

"Oh, let's go!"

The group then headed towards the kindergarten in a grand procession.

As they passed the police station, Song Liyun shouted inside again.

Song Liyun's actions were just routine; nothing about them surprised anyone.

Back at kindergarten, the children chattered excitedly, asking if they had fun.

Song Liyun was exhausted. She sat down and slumped onto the table.

Tongtong: "Junjun, what's wrong?"

Song Liyun: "I'm so hungry."

She ate lunch at the welfare home, but she was only 9.5% full by the time she got there. She had walked all that way back, and her stomach was protesting!

There was no food in the cafeteria, so Teacher Gao called Song Liyun over and made her some oatmeal.

"Eat."

Song Lijun sat in the office, swinging her short legs back and forth.

"Teacher Gao, did you have a good day at work?"

Teacher Gao: "...Was Junjun happy today?"

Song Liyun muttered, "It's so-so."

Teacher Gao couldn't help but laugh.

Song Liyun gulped down her cereal and then went to the playground to play, starting to play tag.

Wang Ya came to pick her up from kindergarten in the afternoon.

Song Liyun, who had been listless, hugged Wang Ya's leg and begged to go out for barbecue skewers that night.

Teacher Gao: "Today, Junjun also played with the children from the welfare home. She was very well-behaved."

Wang Ya patted Song Lijun's head, teasing her deliberately, "Really?"

Song Liyun nodded emphatically.

"It's even more real than my teeth!"

Wang Ya: "What did your dad teach you this time? What kind of analogy is this?"

Song Liyun chuckled, "Come on, come on~~"

Wang Ya said to Teacher Gao, "Then we're leaving. Junjun, say goodbye to the teacher."

"Goodbye, Teacher Gao! Have a great day at work!"

Teacher Gao: "Then you should be happy going to school too!"

Wang Ya patted her daughter's head, "You can't say things like that, you know? This is Teacher Gao's job, you can't describe it as being happy or unhappy."

"But I'm not happy going to school."

"Besides causing trouble and eating, what else do you find enjoyable?"

Song Liyun snorted, "Mommy!!!"

"Alright, alright, we'll go to the night market tonight after your dad gets off work."

"That's great!"
