"Two portions are too much."
Song Yingying bit her lip and glanced at him.
He Sui dismissed it, saying, "Keep them; there are only two anyway."
Song Yingying held the box without moving.
He Sui: "Do you want to wear it now? I'll put it on you?"
Song Yingying didn't mean it that way. She immediately closed the box and tried to push it back to He Sui.
He then put it directly into her bag.
"I've put it away."
In the short time it took for the two of them to talk, they arrived at the building where Song Yingying lived.
Song Yingying opened the door and got out of the car.
He Sui also came downstairs. "Let's go, I'll take you upstairs."
The elevator slowly ascended.
It was eerily quiet inside.
A moment later, the elevator doors opened.
Song Yingying stepped out first, but suddenly, her hand tightened, and a force and warmth that did not belong to her enveloped her palm.
He Sui stepped out of the elevator and looked down at her.
Do you mind?
Song Yingying twitched her fingers, looking uneasy.
"Too...too fast."
He Sui smiled, released his hand as if it were just a brief taste, and then, after stepping back slightly, reached out and shook hands again, this time for an even shorter time.
Under Song Yingying's shocked gaze, He Sui let go of her hand.
"Shall we take it step by step? Start by holding hands?"
Song Yingying's mind was as slow as a rusty machine. She reacted instantly, glaring at He Sui:
"I haven't agreed to it yet!"
After saying that, Song Yingying immediately took out her keys from her bag, opened the door and went inside, and even snorted at He Sui.
The door slammed shut.
He Sui smiled.
