As expected, when everyone heard about the several truckloads of supplies, they all turned their attention to Chi Xiaoyu.
The property management lady rubbed her neck, which was sore from Guo Pangzi's grip, and continued to persuade Chi Xiaoyu: "You're alone, and there are more than a dozen of us. If it really comes down to a fight, you're no match for us, are you? Rather than making things a lose-lose situation for both of us, why don't you hand over the supplies? We'll take the supplies and leave, and we definitely won't make things difficult for you!"

The compressed biscuits and chocolate in his supply pack were far from enough to satisfy his needs. He had to get some food on this trip. He shoved aside the property management lady and pointed at Chi Xiaoyu through the iron gate, asking, "If you don't hand over the supplies, we're going to break down the lock!!!"
Chi Xiaoyu lives alone, so she used the most sturdy materials for the doors and windows. Even the iron door in the stairwell was made of thickened and reinforced steel. However, she had seen Ma Teng smash the wall.
No matter how sturdy her door was, the walls couldn't withstand the hammer blows; brick walls simply couldn't withstand being smashed by a hammer.
Chi Xiaoyu had already made up her mind when she opened the door.
Instead of hiding inside and waiting for them to break the lock on the iron gate outside before smashing down the walls of her room, it would be better to strike first and shoot down the people who were smashing her iron gate.
She nocked an arrow and aimed it at the crowd at the door: "Let's see who dares to break down the door!"
Ma Teng had called so many people to find someone to shield him from arrows. When he saw Chi Xiaoyu threatening to fire, he deliberately laughed loudly and coldly: "Do you dare to kill someone? You think killing is so easy?!"
Chi Xiaoyu was taken aback by what Ma Teng said.
Ma Teng immediately called out to Fatty Guo: "She won't dare to shoot arrows, smash them!"
Guo Pangzi, in a moment of folly, actually picked up the fire axe from the stairwell and smashed it down on the lock on the iron door.
Chi Xiaoyu's bow was fully drawn.
Murder is not as easy to do as it sounds.
Ma Teng grinned maliciously: "I told you you wouldn't dare kill anyone!!!"
Chi Xiaoyu was provoked by Ma Teng's words and realized that this was the apocalypse, and her kindness would only make the bad guys more unscrupulous.
She shot an arrow at Guo Pangzi's arm as he was about to strike with his second axe blow.
Fatty Guo's arm hurt.
The axe fell to the ground with a clang.
Seeing that Chi Xiaoyu actually dared to shoot an arrow, everyone was terrified and wanted to leave. But Ma Teng grabbed Guo Pangzi by the collar, slammed him against the iron gate, and said to the crowd, "Smash it!"
Fatty Guo's body was completely blocked by the iron gate, directly facing Chi Xiaoyu's bow and arrow. If Chi Xiaoyu fired the arrow at this moment, he would surely die. Everyone finally understood what Ma Teng was trying to do: he wanted to use Guo Pangzi's body to block Chi Xiaoyu's arrow!
Among the crowd, a few timid individuals turned and ran.
Instead, the female property management staff member bent down, picked up an axe, and chopped at the lock on the iron gate: "It's just one person dying, why are you running? Think about all the supplies inside, act like a man, don't be a coward!!!"
Seeing that even a woman like the property manager wasn't afraid, the rest of the group couldn't back down either. They swung their weapons, making the chains rattle and clatter, and it looked like they were about to break.
Even if Chi Xiaoyu inside the door were to use her skills, she could only shoot at Guo Pangzi's corpse blocking the door. She had never expected this outcome and was at a loss for what to do.
Just then, one of the people who had run downstairs came running back up: "Help!!!"
The people left in front of the iron gate were confused: "What are you yelling about?"
The man who ran up was panting heavily as he rushed to the iron gate and wailed to Chi Xiaoyu inside, "A large group of zombies suddenly crawled into the stairwell. The people who went down just now have become zombie food. I have elderly parents and young children at home. Please, have mercy and open the door so I can come in!"
Chi Xiaoyu remembered that all the zombies in the community had been taken away by helicopter, and now only a few scattered zombies remained outside the community gate. Where did the zombie horde come from?
These people outside are not good people.
