Everyone suddenly realized that the girl who jumped from the building didn't want to go into the stairwell to escape the zombies at all; she wanted to sacrifice herself to lure the zombies into the stairwell.
The other residents in the community were hoping that the girl would succeed in jumping off the building, so that they wouldn't have to worry about Ma Teng as a threat.
The archery girl believed that human life was more important than anything else.
However, since the girl chose to jump off the building, even after she had shot out all the arrows in her quiver, she still couldn't save her. She could only stop shooting at the zombies that were rushing towards the girl and let them devour her.
The girl who jumped from the building was tackled by several zombies, and her abdomen was quickly ripped open, leaving blood staining the ground. While she was still conscious, she was being eaten by the zombies, and she must have been in a lot of pain, but she still kept banging on the ground to attract their attention.
Even the smile on his face was eerily frightening.
Even Ma Teng, who was usually clueless, now understood what the girl wanted to do.
The building entrance is open now. Once the zombies finish eating the girl, they will definitely rush into the building and attack him.
He broke down almost all the doors of the residents in this building, leaving them with no way to keep out the zombies.

Ma Teng could only keep hitting the girl's mother with his fist until she couldn't move anymore, but even then, the girl's mother's hands were still tightly holding onto Ma Teng's legs.
The zombies were about to rush into the building.
Ma Teng is really wicked. Everyone in the neighborhood hates him. Even Qiao An'an across the street hopes that Ma Teng will be eaten by zombies.
However, instead of Ma Teng being bitten by a zombie, everyone witnessed Ma Xiaotiao's grandmother slamming the building door shut from the stairwell. The speed was so fast that it even caught the hand of the girl who was trying to jump off the building by banging on the iron door to attract the zombie's attention.
The girl could only watch helplessly as the zombie was kept outside the building by Grandma Ma Xiaotiao, dying with her eyes wide open in disbelief!
Her mother was also thrown off the building by Ma Teng.
The girl and her mother soon stood up unsteadily and joined the zombie army.
It truly proves the saying, "Good people don't live long, but evil people live for a thousand years."
Now out of danger, Ma Teng stared intently in the direction of the archery girl's house with a sinister look, and said viciously, "I will never let you get away with this!!!"
There were zombies downstairs, so there was absolutely no way Ma Teng could cross them to attack the archery girl. At most, he could only talk about it, and it posed no real threat whatsoever.
So the archery girl didn't take Ma Teng's threat seriously and quickly closed the window.
However, Qiao An'an felt that the archery girl was in danger. Even if Ma Teng would not pose a threat to the archery girl's personal safety, what about the people on the same floor as the archery girl? Now that the water and electricity have been cut off, it is difficult to guarantee that people will not have their evil side triggered when they are without food and water.
The fact that the archery girl stepped forward meant that everyone in the building knew that someone lived there. Someone living there meant there was food and water. In a life-or-death situation, anyone could become Ma Teng.

But then they heard the roar of helicopters in the sky.

A helicopter roared overhead, showing no sign of stopping.
Qiao An'an noticed that the helicopter was heading towards the residential area across the street, so she quickly carried Ya Ya up to the second floor to observe the helicopter through binoculars.
Residents in the opposite neighborhood also saw the helicopter.
Many people opened their windows to call for help.
Qiao An'an roughly counted and found that there were still dozens of households with living people, not including the archery girl and Ma Teng's family.
The more people cried for help, the more zombies appeared. The helicopter circled over the opposite residential area for a while without landing to rescue anyone. Instead, it continuously broadcast through a loudspeaker: "Please don't give up hope! Relevant departments are working hard to carry out rescue operations. Please protect yourselves and wait for our rescue!!!"
The loudspeaker and the roar of the helicopter engine attracted the attention of the zombies in the neighborhood.
The zombies swarmed around the helicopter, jumping and scrambling to grab it.
The helicopter wasn't flying very high; it was just about the height the zombies were about to reach when they jumped, but just a little short. Qiao An'an was terrified. If one of the zombies had jumped even slightly higher, could it have taken down the helicopter?
After the helicopter had attracted all the zombies in the neighborhood, it suddenly turned around and flew away from the neighborhood. Before flying away, it dropped dozens of supply packs into the neighborhood.
