Chapter 5 Problem Solving (1/2)

Chapter 5 Problem Solving

"You know what, with your looks, you're quite a match for Meng Jiangnu." Gao Youhui teased.

"Could you please keep your voices down? There are people studying here." Just as Jiang He was about to retort, an impatient voice suddenly came from the side.

The two of them immediately turned their eyes to the man named Lu Feng. The other's face was unusually cold, and it was obvious that he was angry.

Jiang He just glanced at him. Although he was a little puzzled, when he thought of the appearance of that woman just now, he couldn't help but complain in his heart that if they were not from the same family, they would be like the same family. He withdrew his gaze and lowered his head to read the book he had just picked up, occasionally making some notes in the notebook next to him, while Gao Youhui next to him kept staring at the contents of the notes.

"You also know the language of the Clock Country?"

"Yeah!" Jiang He nodded.

"Then...can you do me a favor?" Gao Youhui showed a somewhat anxious smile on his face.

Jiang He looked up and asked, "What can I do for you?"

"Let's talk outside." Gao Youhui took Jiang He's hand and walked out of the library. Before leaving, he threw fifty cents to the librarian.

"You wait here for me to say hello." Jiang He was led all the way to the door of a chemical building. Two soldiers in military green liberation uniforms were standing at the door. Gao Youhui said something to Jiang He, and then went over to talk to the two people at the door.

Jiang He responded and looked up to scan the building in front of him. This place was very similar to the requisitioned Western-style buildings he had seen before. There was a tall sycamore tree in the yard, and under the tree were stone tables and stone benches. It looked quite poetic.

Gao Youhui quickly returned to Jiang He and said, "Come on, I'll take you to see someone." Then he pulled Jiang He to another building, greeted a few familiar people, and turned to an office on the second floor.

"Professor!" There was an old man sitting in the office, with gray hair and black-framed glasses on his nose. Judging from the thickness of the lenses, it could be seen that the old man's sight was very low. Gao Youhui directly dragged Jiang He to the old man.

"Professor, professor, I have brought you a master."

"Gao Youhui, you are a student, can you please be more careful?" The old man was so angry when he saw Gao Youhui's appearance, but when he saw Jiang Heshi, his tone was very friendly. "This little Zhi, are you scared? Youhui is a bit reckless. If there is anything wrong, tell me and I will teach him a lesson for you. Don't you know the little Zhi's name?"

"Hello, my name is Jiang He, and I'm Gao Youhui's friend." Jiang He was not at all nervous and responded to the old man's questions very seriously.

"Please sit down, have a cup of tea, and let's talk slowly." The old man pointed to the sofa, asked Jiang He to sit first, and then he walked to another sofa and sat down.

"Thank you, there's no need to go to so much trouble." Jiang He tidied his clothes and then sat in front of the old man. Looking at the fifty-year-old professor in front of him, he still felt a little admiration.

Just now he noticed that the other party was holding a foreign language skill book, translating it word for word, making notes in a notebook, and even making notes on some difficult-to-understand words.

He glanced at Gao Youhui who looked like he had something to say, so he said, "Gao Youhui, what do you want from bringing this little guy here?"

"Professor, didn't you say before that you had a book from the Kingdom of Watches that needed to be translated? I found a master for you. I just saw him reading a book from the Kingdom of Watches in the library, and..." Gao Youhui glanced at Jiang He and whispered in the old man's ear, "He can translate better than you."

"Ahem!" The old man felt a little embarrassed after hearing this, and then glared at Gao Youhui, then said gently to Jiang He, "Xiao Zhizhi, can you let me see your notes? If it's inconvenient..."

"Convenient..." Jiang He took out his notebook from his army green shoulder bag and put it into the old man's hands with both hands.
