25. Chapter 25: Helping in Times of Need 1

After moving the things, Feng Qingxue took out the rice, clothes and other items that already belonged to her family from the space, and took a few more different grain steamed buns to deal with Feng Qingyun.

"Sister, where did all these things come from? And a flatbed cart!" Feng Qingyun asked after washing her hands and eating the steamed buns that Feng Qingxue brought back for her, her eyes scanning the wooden books, bowls, plates and other things.

Feng Qingxue replied, "The items are just scraps I begged for, and the flatbed truck was borrowed from someone else. I have to return it to the owner before dawn tomorrow."

"Sister, are you going out tomorrow? Can't you take me with you? I can also beg with you. Last time you said I didn't have pants and shoes, so you didn't take me with you. Now I have clothes to wear and shoes to wear."

"No." Feng Qingxue flatly refused.

"Why?" Feng Qingyun was very disappointed.

Of course it’s because you’re here that I can’t take things out of space! Feng Qingxue thought.

But she said, "Silly girl, because you have only a few patches on your jacket and no other clothes, people will know that our family conditions must not be that bad, and they will not give us food."

Feng Qingyun looked down at himself, then at Feng Qingxue, and stopped talking.

Yes, I was wearing nice clothes, but my sister was wearing her old tattered clothes and looked like a poor person.

She took a shower and went to bed at night. At about three o'clock the next day, Feng Qingxue set off. In view of Qingyun's intelligence and her own wishes, Feng Qingxue kept her at home and promised to bring her some delicious food.

Feng Qingxue pulled the flatbed cart very quickly and arrived under the old elm tree at five o'clock.

On the flatbed cart were the food she had put on along the way, half a sack of cornmeal and most of a sack of black flour.

Black flour is flour without separating the bran. It is also considered a fine grain nowadays, after all, corn flour is classified as a fine grain.

She had finally dug out the sacks from the space. All the food she had purchased was packed in nylon bags and sealed with white thread. These sacks were also used by her when she purchased mountain products.

In addition to these foods, Feng Qingxue also put some rice, millet and other precious items in a small cloth bag in the backpack on the car.

Aunt Xu and Grandpa Xu walked around the old elm tree, their heads and bodies covered with frost and dew, obviously having been waiting for a long time.

"Aunt Xu." Feng Qingxue greeted her quickly.

The two elders stopped and looked at her in surprise.

"My daughter, you're here!" Aunt Xu's heart, which had been hanging in the air, finally settled down.

Feng Qingxue took a few looks at Grandpa Xu. He was a very interesting old man. His ragged clothes could not hide his elegant and refined temperament. He also had a noble air, like a pampered young man.

"Hello, Uncle Xu." Feng Qingxue was the first to greet him.

Grandpa Xu smiled and said, "Thank you, my dear. The food you gave my wife yesterday saved no less than three lives."

If the old guys were not starving to death and had no other choice, my wife would never take the huge risk and use the dowry that she had hidden with great difficulty to exchange for food on the black market.

There is no mistake in the poem, post, content, and read the book on 6, 9, and bar!

Feng Qingxue smiled and said, "You're welcome. I got some good things from you. Come, take a look at the food I brought."

When the two old people saw the sacks on the car were filled with grain, they were so excited that they burst into tears.

"With so much food, I'm afraid what we brought may not be enough." Aunt Xu hesitated for a moment and said to Feng Qingxue.
