Late at night, when everything was quiet, Huo Qingyan was awakened by a sudden nightmare.
In the dream, Bai Shanshan was holding a baby covered in blood, its face pale and distorted. She told him in a cold and trembling voice: "This is your child!"
Huo Qingyan was horrified and shook his head repeatedly in denial: "No, this is impossible! I haven't even touched you, how can this child be mine?"
However, Bai Shanshan just smiled eerily, and that smile was creepy.
"If I say it's yours, then it's yours, Huo Qingyan. I must marry you! Only in this way will they not take me away!" Her words revealed despair and madness.

With a muffled "bang", Huo Qingyan woke up from his nightmare. When he woke up, he found that he had fallen under the bed. He quickly got up from the ground and turned on the light.
He got up, put on his military coat, went to the living room, poured himself a cup of water, sat on the sofa, waited for the water to cool down, and took a few sips to calm himself down.
Huo Junshan was a light sleeper. When he heard the noise outside the room, he got out of bed wearing his military coat and prepared to go to the bathroom before going back to sleep. But when he opened the door, he saw his son sitting on the sofa in a daze, not moving at all.
"Why don't you sleep and sit in the living room in the middle of the night to scare people?"
"Dad, why are you up?"
"Get up and go to the bathroom. What are you doing sitting here? Why don't you go to sleep?"
"Dad, I woke up from a nightmare and wanted to drink some water to calm myself down."

Huo Qingyan put down the enamel cup in his hand, took a deep breath, and said, "I asked about Bai Shanshan..."

Huo Junshan looked at Huo Qingyan strangely and said seriously, "Tell me the truth, did you and Bai Shanshan have sex? I understand that you young people have needs, but before you get married, you..."
"Dad, you're wronging me. I never touched her. They say that self-reliance brings prosperity. If I needed help, I could have done it myself. How could I have made such a mistake?"

Dad, you don’t know how scary the dream I had just now was. Bai Shanshan smiled at me eerily like a female ghost, and threw a bloody ball of flesh in her hands at me.
