The tears were rolling around in her eyes, as if they might fall out at any moment. She said to Lin Man with a choked voice, "It's not good. The doctor said I'm having a miscarriage. I need to stay in the hospital to protect the pregnancy."

As she spoke, she picked up the thermos box on the coffee table, opened the lid, and found steaming chicken soup inside.
"Ling Fei, can you eat now? We brought chicken soup."

Lin Man couldn't help but wonder, were Ling Fei's parents arguing with her in-laws? Were they fighting for Ling Fei's rights and demanding justice?

Were they forced to come here? My biological mother is not as close as my aunt. I don’t know whether Ling Fei is lucky or unfortunate.

They had only been here for less than two minutes and they were already in a hurry to leave. That was definitely not a good idea. They should at least wait until Huo Qingyan came back.
After a while, Huo Qingyan came in carrying a few boxes of food. When he entered the ward, he didn't see his father-in-law and mother-in-law, and his face looked a little ugly.
"Dad, where are my father-in-law and mother-in-law?"
Huo Junshan said unhappily, "They left when they saw your elder brother and sister-in-law coming."
Huo Qingyan put the lunch box down and saw several more lunch boxes on the table. He murmured, "If I had known that Big Brother would bring us food, I wouldn't have gone out."
Huo Junshan asked him, "What did you do at the state-owned restaurant?"

"Put her down and I'll feed her. You still have to take care of her tonight, so go eat first."
Huo Qingyan squatted beside the coffee table and opened all the lunch boxes. He asked Lin Man and Huo Qingci, "Brother, sister-in-law, would you like some dumplings?"
Lin Man smiled and said, "No need, we've already eaten."
After they finished their meal, Xiao Ya suddenly pulled Lin Man out of the ward and said, "Man Man, I might have to stay in the hospital to take care of Ling Fei for the next few days. I'd like Qing Huan to stay at your place for the next few days. Is that okay with you?"

They came and started arguing with us, but when they saw the old man coming, they felt embarrassed to stay there any longer."
