Chapter 367: Habit Becomes Nature (Page 1/2)
Huo Yining nodded, but still said somewhat unwillingly, "It would be nice if we could go out and play every day."
Lin Man thought for a moment and said, "Ningning, how about you and An An go to the nursery next week? There are a lot of children in the nursery, you can play together."
When Huo Yining heard this, he jumped up excitedly, "Great! I want to go to the nursery! I don't want to stay at Grandma Tian's house. Her grandchildren always snatch our food."
Lin Man knew that when she was not around, Aunt Tian's grandson would snatch her son's snacks to eat. Aunt Tian would sometimes pretend not to see it.
Maybe this is human nature. After all, people are selfish, and their grandchildren are more important.
If her son hadn't complained, Lin Man would have had no idea about these things. Lin Man planned to send the children to nursery first.
Huo Qingci reminded Huo Yining: "But Ningning, you have to be good and obedient when you get to the nursery. You can't be naughty. And you have to take good care of your little brother, okay?"
Huo Yining nodded vigorously, "Don't worry, Dad, I will definitely take good care of my brother!"
Huo Qingci smiled with relief, thinking to himself that he hoped the children could grow up happily in the nursery and make more friends.
After the picnic, everyone packed up and went home. Lin Man asked the students to submit an essay about the picnic on Monday.
On the way back, Huo Qingci talked to Lin Man about sending the child to nursery.
"Manman, I think Ningning likes the hustle and bustle. Should we send him to the nursery?"
"Well, Ningning can be sent over. Anan is too young, I don't feel safe sending her over."
Huo Qingci said: "Liao Sijie said she wanted to come and help us continue to take care of the children, but I didn't agree."
Lin Man's face suddenly darkened. She would rather quit her job than leave her son to Liao Sijie. That person has no credibility. What if she lets her take care of the two children and corrupts them?
"Forget it, I'll just send the kids to daycare first, and then I'll quit after this semester."
After careful consideration, Lin Man decided to send the children to the nursery at the elementary school. She would visit them during lunch breaks and resign after finishing the semester.
Although she admires those teachers very much, as a teacher, she has to face heavy teaching tasks, a large amount of homework to correct, and complicated student affairs every day.
Not only that, she also had to deal with fierce competition between classes and tremendous pressure from colleagues. Lin Man deeply felt the hardships and difficulties of being a teacher.
I only earned a little over 20 yuan a month, and had to stand on the podium and eat chalk dust for several hours every day.
If possible, she really hopes to give up this job and accompany her children wholeheartedly to grow up healthily and happily.
She has great admiration for soldiers, scientific researchers, doctors, and teachers...but she knows that she is not qualified for these professions herself.
Making money makes people happy. Lin Man actually prefers to do business, but the timing is not right now, otherwise she would have resigned long ago.
After returning home, Lin Man put down her things and went to Aunt Tian's house to pick up her youngest son. As soon as she entered Aunt Tian's yard, she heard her son crying.
Lin Man pushed the door open and found Aunt Tian’s six-year-old grandson, Goudan, trying to snatch the peach cake from her son’s hand.
She knew that this peach cake must have just been sent by her grandfather, and Aunt Tian would never buy peach cake for her son.
Aunt Tian was sitting not far away sewing shoe soles. When she saw Lin Man coming, she quickly threw down the soles and said to her grandson casually, "Goudan, quickly return the peach cake to your brother An An."

Lin Man glanced at Tao Su, who was covered in snot and saliva, picked up her son and said, "Aunt Tian, tomorrow is Sunday, I will take care of the child at home.
We will send the children to the nursery on Monday, so you won’t need to help take care of An An and Ning Ning. "
"Xiao Man, why do you suddenly want to send your child to the nursery?"
"If Ningning wants to go, let them go."
Lin Man didn't want to quarrel with the neighbors over such a small matter, and she was too lazy to explain more to Aunt Tian. After all, the other party was her elder, so she took out a dollar from her pocket and handed it to Aunt Tian, then picked up her son and left.
Seeing Lin Man carrying Huo Yian away, Goudan showed a hint of displeasure on his face. He turned to his grandmother and said, "Brother Huo Yining won't come to our house anymore. Grandma, will I not get any snacks in the future?"
Aunt Tian looked at her grandson helplessly and said with a smile: "You silly boy, who told you to snatch their peach cakes? If they give them to you, just take them, but you can't snatch them, understand?"
Goudan pouted a little aggrievedly and muttered, "But I always snatched it from you without telling you."
Hearing this, Aunt Tian couldn't help feeling a little embarrassed and smiled awkwardly. When did she stop talking?
In fact, she did say that before, but later, when she saw that Lin Man’s two children had snacks to eat every day, while her grandson could only pick up what others didn’t want to eat, she couldn’t help feeling a little unbalanced.
When she saw her grandson snatching snacks from the Huo family's children, she simply pretended not to know.
After all, the head of the Huo family was not at home, so she thought she might as well save as much as possible. After taking advantage of others for a long time, it would become a habit.
Lin Man carried Huo Yian home and told Huo Qingci about Goudan stealing the children's things.
"Qingci, I've agreed with Aunt Tian that she won't be needed to help with the kids next week. I just went to pick up An An and saw Goudan snatch the peach cake from An An's hand."
Before Huo Qingci could react, Huo Li said, "Xiao Man, you said that kid Goudan stole An'an's peach cake. Didn't I give Goudan half of it?"
Lin Man nodded. "The child might have finished his own meal, and seeing that An An hadn't finished yet, he came to grab his. Grandpa, I plan to send them to the nursery next week."
Huo Li thought for a moment and said, "Ningning is big enough to go to the nursery, so she won't be bullied. An'an is too young, so it's better not to send her there. How about I take care of her?"
"Grandpa, I actually plan to send An An to daycare as well. Summer vacation is only two months away, so I'll take care of them myself then. I'm planning to resign next semester."
It costs so much money to hire someone to look after the children for a month, and it also costs money to send two children to nursery. Teachers' salaries are not high, so it is more cost-effective to let Lin Man take care of the children herself.
Huo Li calculated and nodded, "Okay, our family doesn't need that twenty yuan anyway. You should stay at home and take good care of An An and Ning Ning, and give them a sister next year."
"Grandpa, can I sell this job?"
"You can't just pick anyone out to fill the position of junior high school teacher. You have to pass an assessment."
"Never mind."
"But the school should arrange for someone to take your place, and they should give you some compensation.
If you don't want to do it, I'll talk to the principal and ask him to find someone to replace you in advance."
"Okay, thank you, Grandpa."
