When Lin Man arrived at school, it was about five twenty.
Carrying a bag full of meals and snacks, she walked straight to the classroom corridor and stood there quietly, waiting for her son to come out of the classroom.
Time passed minute by minute, and finally, the bell for the end of get out of class rang at 5:30.
Then, the classroom door slowly opened, and the students all crowded towards the door like sardines, pouring out of the classroom one by one.
Lin Man's gaze swept through the crowd quickly, and suddenly, her eyes lit up, because she saw her eldest son, Huo Yining, who looked a little tall because of his growth.
Huo Yining was always tall and strong when he was a child, but for some reason this year, he started to grow thinner and lost a lot of weight.
Lin Man couldn't help but sigh secretly. It seemed that the food in school was really not that good. Even such a strong child could become thin due to starvation.
"Ningning!" Lin Man hurriedly shouted to the tall boy.
Suddenly, a girl with twin ponytails ran up to Lin Man and asked curiously, "Auntie, are you calling me?"

Huo Yining looked at his mother curiously and asked, "Mom, why did you only bring a pair of chopsticks?"
Lin Man replied gently, "I'll go back and eat later, you can eat first. I made these especially for you, with lamb, beef, and steamed eggs."
Huo Yining asked again: "Mom, why did you bring so many lunch boxes?"
Lin Man patiently explained, "There's also a box of kimchi, and I was worried you wouldn't have enough rice, so I brought an extra box."
Huo Yining seemed a little surprised: "Mom, I can't finish all these dishes! How about I take some to the dormitory and share some with my classmates?
There is a male classmate in our dormitory whose family conditions are not very good. His underwear and towels have holes in them, but he still can't bear to throw them away.

Every day when he went to the canteen to get food, he only bought rice and ate it with pickles when he got home.

Huo Yining quickly said, "Mom, you're so busy, you don't have to come to see me. I go home every week.
By the way, Mom, my classmate has his birthday this Saturday. Can I invite him to dinner at home?
Lin Man smiled and agreed: "Of course, you can ask him to come home and play.

Lin Man put the lunch boxes back into the thermal bag one by one, took the one next to it, handed it to Huo Yining and said:
"Then Mom will go back. You should eat well. I see that you have lost a lot of weight recently. Are you going to share your food with your classmates and starve yourself?"
Huo Yining slowly shook his head and said softly, "No, Mom. I only gave them some vegetables at most. I didn't give them any rice. Every meal is a fixed six taels of rice."

Lin Man looked at Huo Yining with a smile and reminded him, "Then Mom will go back first. Remember to wash the lunch box after you finish eating. You will need to bring it back next time."
Huo Yining nodded again, "Okay, I understand, Mom. Then I'll go back to the dormitory first." After saying that, he picked up two big bags.
Lin Man patted his shoulder gently and said, "Let's go. It's time for me to go back."
As soon as Lin Man left, Huo Yining quickly ran back to the dormitory with the food, and all the male students in the dormitory looked at him.
Tang Hui smiled and said, "Squad Leader, what delicious food did your mother bring you?"
Huo Yining smiled awkwardly, "My mom was worried that I didn't eat enough at school, so she specially prepared a few dishes for me today. Have you finished your meal? Do you want some more?"
"We just came back from lunch, so thank you, squad leader." Tang Hui said shamelessly.
Huo Yining looked at Luo Jun who was chewing a steamed bun and said, "Brother Jun, let's eat together. We brought two boxes of rice."
