"Can you please stop? If you want to quarrel, go outside. If you want to act, go outside. Don't delay these people's meals!" Yang Zhijun, who had been unable to hold back any longer, slammed his chopsticks on the table and shouted.
Li Qiang shrank his body, while Lei Xiao and Wang Qingwen's faces looked even uglier. Red, orange, yellow, green, indigo, and purple, their faces almost looked like a color palette.
"Eat, eat!" Xie Sufang handed a steamed bun to Wen Nuan, "Xiao Nuan, eat the steamed bun. Eat more. You've worked hard today!"
"Well, Sister Sufang, I'll eat more!" Wen Nuan took the steamed bun and said obediently.
Xie Sufang took two more steamed buns and handed them to Liu Xiaoling and Lin Yiman. The two girls took the buns while trying to suppress their smiles and began to eat them with big mouthfuls.
Wang Qingwen and Lei Xiao looked at everyone awkwardly, then quickly sat down, took their steamed buns and started eating. After all, they had been sitting on the train for several days without having a single hot meal or dish.
The dishes cooked by Lin Yiman were still delicious. Four large pots of food were eaten up in no time.
After eating a hot and filling meal, Wang Qingwen and Lei Xiao's complexion finally looked better.
"Thank you all for your hospitality tonight," Wang Qingwen said softly with a smile on his face.
"Nothing, this is the custom of our educated youth camp," Zhang Hongliang waved his hand nonchalantly, "but you won't have a share of the breakfast tomorrow morning, so you'd better get up early and go to the village chief to get your subsidized grain, so that we can cook together and you can have breakfast."
"Got it, Zhang Zhiqing."
"Okay, let's go, wash up and go to bed early!"
