Wen Nuan walked around the mountain, picked up a dozen pheasant eggs and went down the mountain.
When passing by the cowshed, I saw Guo Pengcheng's son squatting on the ground, doing something unknown.
Wen Nuan took a quick glance and walked towards the educated youth point.
Feifei browsed through all the products and finally found one that might be useful.
"Master, I found a kind of incense that will make anyone who smells it fall asleep for three hours. Does it work?"
"Ecstasy incense, three hours is enough," Wen Nuan thought, there was really no other way, so she could use the incense. People at the educated youth center usually go to bed around 8 o'clock, so it would be fine to go find Guo Pengcheng at this time. "By the way, do you have an antidote?"
"have!"
When they returned to the educated youth point, it was just around 9 o'clock in the morning. Wen Nuan thought about it and took the basket to the home of Aunt Qin, where she often exchanged eggs. She exchanged 10 eggs, then boiled all the 12 pheasant eggs and 10 eggs she picked up in the mountains and put them in the space, intending to give them to Guo Pengcheng when she went to find him.
"Fei Fei, exchange the Ecstasy Incense and go find Guo Pengcheng tonight. Remember to exchange the antidote for me!"
Wen Nuan thought about it for almost a day but couldn't come up with any proper solution, so she finally decided to use the love incense.
Around 8 o'clock in the evening, Wen Nuan used the excuse of going to the toilet and took the antidote first. Then she lit the incense outside and quietly brought it into the house. In less than ten minutes, no one could wake her up.
Wen Nuan quietly came to the door of the male educated youth's house and passed the incense in through the gap under the door. After about ten minutes, she asked Fei Fei to go in and check. After making sure that everyone was asleep, she opened the door and walked towards the cowshed.
With Feifei's investigation and the blessing of the good luck charm along the way, Wen Nuan arrived at the cowshed easily.
She first took out the boiled eggs she had prepared earlier from the space, then walked to the door of the room where the little boy came out this morning and knocked.
“Who is it…?”
A hoarse and deep voice sounded.
Wen Nuan didn't say anything, but just continued knocking on the door.
The door opened with a "creak". It was Guo Pengcheng who opened the door.
Guo Pengcheng opened the door and saw a little girl outside. He asked in surprise, "Who are you?"
Wen Nuan lowered her voice, "Uncle Guo, I'm Wen Nuan..."
"Wen Nuan?" Guo Pengcheng didn't react at first, "You are Xiao Nuan!"
"Uncle Guo, let me go in first!"
"Yes, yes, come in quickly, come in quickly!"
Warmth came into the house through the crack in the door. The house was very simple, with a broken earthen kang covered with some straw and a tattered quilt on top. Guo Pengcheng's wife and son were sitting on it hugging each other. In addition to the broken earthen kang, there was a stool with a missing leg and a tattered table. On the table there was a large, chipped bowl with a few sweet potatoes in it.
Wen Nuan looked at this environment which could not be any simpler, and her nose felt sore and she almost cried.
"Xiao Nuan, sit down..." Guo Pengcheng wanted to ask Wen Nuan to sit down, but when he looked at the broken stool, he was too embarrassed to speak.
"Old Guo, this is..." Guo Pengcheng's wife Zhou Juan looked at Guo Pengcheng in confusion.
"Oh, Ajuan, this is Xiao Nuan, Wen Nuan, the granddaughter of my teacher, Mr. Wen," Guo Pengcheng hurriedly introduced Wen Nuan to his wife.
"Oh, Xiao Nuan." Zhou Juan quickly got down from the kang, "Come, Xiao Nuan, come and sit over here."
"Yes, yes, come and sit over here on the kang," Guo Pengcheng also hurriedly led Wen Nuan to the kang.
Guo Pengcheng's son Guo Kai looked at Wen Nuan and smiled shyly, then ran to sit next to Zhou Juan.
Wen Nuan looked at Guo Kai, who had a big head and a small body and a yellow face, and felt even more sad. She quickly took out a handful of fruit candies from her pocket and stuffed them into Guo Kai's pocket, "This is your little brother, come and have some candy!"
Guo Kai looked at the candy in Wen Nuan's hand, and a strong desire flashed in his eyes, but he still looked up at his father first.
"Xiao Nuan, such a precious thing, just keep it for yourself, no need to give it to him," Guo Pengcheng waved his hand and said.
"It's okay, Uncle Guo, I have more. This is for my brother!" Wen Nuan took a step towards Zhou Juan, took Guo Kai's little hand, and put the candy in his hand.
Guo Kai looked at his mother again. Zhou Juan looked at the desire in her son's eyes and nodded. Guo Kai happily picked up a candy, peeled it and put it in his mouth, smiling with his little lips pursed.
Looking at their son's smile, Guo Pengcheng and Zhou Juan felt sad.
"Uncle Guo, why are you here?"
"Oh, it's hard to put it into words!" Guo Pengcheng sighed and didn't say anything else.
"Is it because of our family?" In fact, Wen Nuan had this thought in her mind when she saw Guo Pengcheng for the first time.
"No, no, of course it's not because of your family!" Guo Pengcheng saw the guilt in Wen Nuan's eyes and knew that if he didn't explain clearly, the child would probably get stuck in a dead end.
"Your aunt's grandfather was a capitalist who went abroad a few years ago. My nemesis at work used this to report me, so we came here. It has nothing to do with your family. Don't take the responsibility."
Zhou Juan also nodded.
Wen Nuan felt a little relieved when she saw that the couple's expressions did not seem fake.
"By the way, uncle, these are some eggs and pheasant eggs that I cooked today. You and aunt can keep them for later. I'll see if I can give you something else later," Wen Nuan put the cloth bag she brought in on the kang.
"No, Xiao Nuan, please take it back. It's not easy for you. Keep it for yourself," Guo Pengcheng and Zhou Juan quickly declined.
Wen Nuan pressed down Zhou Juan's hand, "Uncle, aunt, please don't be polite to me anymore. Your uncle helped our family so much back then. If it weren't for your uncle, I don't know where I would be now! You must stay. Besides, even if you don't want to eat, my brother Xiaokai will have to eat!"
