In the morning, Wen Nuan was woken up by Wang Jianshe's kiss. Fortunately, the man knew to get up early today, so he didn't toss and turn too much last night. Therefore, Wen Nuan got up happily.
Wang Jianshe had already cooked the millet porridge, and Wen Nuan decided to make some white flour pancakes. Since there were no eggs, they would leave them out for now, but it would still taste good if they added more oil.
After breakfast, Wen Nuan saw that it was almost half past five, so she quickly pulled the man to the supply and marketing cooperative. The man had big steps, and even though he was careful on the way, he walked faster than Wen Nuan and Sister Xiangyu, so they arrived in half an hour.
There were already several people queuing outside the door, so Wen Nuan quickly walked to the end of the line.
The people in the queue should all be military dependents. Wen Nuan didn't know any of them. Judging from Wang Jianshe's expression, he probably didn't know any of them either. The queue was full of women, and they were all looking at Wen Nuan and the other person. Wen Nuan felt very uncomfortable, so she quietly persuaded Wang Jianshe to leave.
After Wang Jianshe left, there were fewer glances at her, and Wen Nuan was waiting quietly in the line.
At around half past six, an oxcart arrived, the door of the supply and marketing cooperative opened, and they began to move things in. Wen Nuan didn't see clearly what was there, but the people at the front of the line saw it and started discussing it.

Wen Nuan was startled when someone suddenly pulled her. She turned around and saw a big sister in a navy blue coat.

"Why aren't you talking? Are you new here?" Seeing that Wen Nuan didn't say anything, the older sister asked again impatiently.

You look so young, I guess you don't..." The eldest sister spoke a lot, occasionally spitting out some saliva.

The supply and marketing cooperative opened, and Wen Nuan hurriedly followed the people in front of her into the cooperative, pretending not to hear the call of the older sister behind her.
"Old rules, don't push, line up one by one!" An unfamiliar salesperson in the supply and marketing cooperative shouted loudly. She should be the sister-in-law Guixiang who took leave yesterday.
There weren't many people in front. Wen Nuan took a look and saw that not many people were buying eggs. She breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that there should be quite a few people there for her.
Everyone was very orderly and came forward one after another to buy what they needed, so the process was quite fast and it was Wen Nuan's turn soon.
"Eggs are 8 cents each, no ticket required, fish are 2 yuan each, pick any you like, and vegetables are 30 cents a net bag!" the salesperson said quickly.
Wen Nuan was very surprised that she didn’t want a ticket!
"40 eggs, two fish, and two bags of vegetables!" Wen Nuan said quickly.
"Seven dollars and eighty cents!" The salesperson looked at Wen Nuan in surprise. When he saw that it was a stranger, he immediately realized that the person had just arrived, so he lowered his head to pick up the eggs.
"Which two fish do you want?"
"These two!" The salesperson swiftly scooped up two fish, tied them with straw ropes, handed them to Wen Nuan, and then shouted, "Next!"
Wen Nuan came today with a basket. She picked up all the eggs directly into the basket, and went home with the fish and vegetables in her hands.
It was past eight o'clock when I got home. Wen Nuan saw that it was a bit too late to make the dough. She had just bought fish, so she decided to make fish pot pancakes for lunch.
The fish were almost dead when they were brought home. Wen Nuan didn't even have time to rest before she started cleaning the fish.
After cleaning and marinating the fish, I started to sort out the two bags of vegetables I bought.
The two bags of vegetables were a hodgepodge, including cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, and Chinese cabbage. Wen Nuan sorted them out and felt that they would be enough for two or three days. She bought some seeds yesterday and will have to plant them soon. However, before the vegetables grow, she can only buy them and eat them first.
After cleaning up the kitchen, Wen Nuan went to tidy up the vegetable garden.
Being so busy, the morning passed quickly. Wen Nuan looked at the time and prepared to make lunch.
He scooped out a few bowls of cornmeal, added a bowl of white flour, beat two eggs in, mixed the flour and let it rise, then started to stew the fish. After the fish was stewed in the pot, he put a circle of cornmeal cakes along the pot, covered the pot with a lid, and inserted a few pieces of wood to burn it.
Before frying the fish, Wen Nuan fried four eggs in advance, which were now cold. She also chop three cucumbers and make a cucumber and egg mixture.
It's 12 o'clock, why haven't you come back yet? Wen Nuan is a little anxious.
About ten minutes later, the gate opened and Wang Jianshe strode in with a lunch box, followed by another, "Nuannuan, I'm back! We have guests today!"
Wen Nuan walked out of the kitchen after hearing the voice and looked curiously at the man behind Wang Jianshe. He was about the same height as Wang Jianshe and sounded handsome, but darker than Wang Jianshe. He was grinning at Wen Nuan with a mouthful of white teeth, "Sister-in-law, excuse me for disturbing you!"
"Hello!" Wen Nuan looked at the big white teeth and had an urge to laugh, but she held it back and greeted him.
"He is Lei Hu, my good brother!" Wang Jianshe introduced him and winked at Wen Nuan.
Wen Nuan understood immediately that this was Wang Qingwen's evil fiancé!
