Chapter 391 Treatment of Distinguished Guests
Chen Guilan was busy cooking in the kitchen, and the range hood was roaring.
I didn't hear the two of them talking.
Lu Jingyou changed his shoes, walked into the kitchen, greeted Chen Guilan, and rolled up his sleeves to help wash the vegetables: "Auntie, there's no need to be so troublesome. Just eat something casually."
"You're not needed. Go out and have a rest." Chen Guilan didn't feel comfortable asking him for help. She actually felt very sorry. If Su Houli hadn't divorced her, the future father-in-law would have been required to come forward to entertain the future son-in-law in such occasions.
Su Jiaojiao stood at the kitchen door, smiling.

Chen Guilan was very happy. Being able to eat it meant that he didn't mind the food she cooked, which meant that he was in good health.
After dinner, the three of them sat on the sofa, drinking tea and chatting.

"The host won't be at peace until the guests leave. When I'm at your house, your mother is always busy." Lu Jingyou sat in the passenger seat, looking at the familiar scenery outside the window, feeling happy. "We can still talk when we go to Guolv."
"I thought you were anxious to see your second uncle?" Su Jiaojiao glanced at him, and Lu Jingyou smiled. "I'm anxious to see you, but why would I be anxious to see him?"
"Does your second uncle know that you came to my house?"

As the two were about to get off the car, they saw Lu Jiaping and Qin Shuang walking out of the hall, talking and laughing, getting into the taxi waiting at the door, and driving away.
