Chapter 23: Substitution
Repulse Bay Leaf Mansion
After saying goodbye to the two Li brothers, Ye Lin returned to the villa but did not go inside. He walked around to the piano room on the side of the villa. The lawn outside the piano room had been trimmed by Uncle Fu and could no longer hide anything.
Looking up, he saw the window above the piano room, which was right next to his bed. How could the aromatherapy be in the grass?
Walking forward to the eaves, Ye Lin found a drainpipe extending from the roof to the ground, just passing by the window next to his bed.
Back in the bedroom, Ye Lin discovered that there was a problem with the seal at the lower right corner of the window next to the bed. There was a gap about the size of a peanut, which was enough for a thick straw to be inserted into the room.
After opening the window, Ye Lin leaned half of his body out and just happened to touch the drainpipe. The pipe was old and there were some gaps at the joints. So that's how it was. Amei must have put a lot of effort into coming up with this method.
Ah Mei saw the young master eating a salad with peanut oil in it, and then, with the cover of the grass, lit the incense and let the smell flow into the young master's bedroom through the drainpipe, causing his death.
Ye Lin sat by the window looking at the hazy moonlight, and promised in his heart the young master he had never met, "Don't worry, since I have occupied your life, I will seek justice for you."

The car made many twists and turns again and returned to the game hall. Li Tianqin got out of the car with two bottles of drinks. The game hall was in chaos at night, and Li Tianqin resisted the urge to catch anyone.

Ji's mother, who was pounding the bed, froze, staring at her son in disbelief. "Did you do what you said? Are you crazy? Ye Lin gave us money, didn't he? Why did you kill him?" Ji's mother couldn't understand Ji Yuanping. They were living a good life, but Ye Lin kept giving them money. What was wrong with their life? Why would her son do this?
"I really should strangle you to death, you debt collector, you can't even handle the wealth!" Ji's mother kept beating Ji Yuanping to vent her anger. Ji Yuanping was so annoyed by her that he made up his mind, left his mother behind, walked out quickly, and drove to the game hall.
It was almost midnight when Ji Yuanping arrived at the game hall and the hall was about to close. Ji Yuanping felt that there was something wrong with the look in the receptionist's eyes today, and he felt a little panicked. He took the key and walked quickly to the locker. When he opened the door and saw the seal inside, he breathed a sigh of relief. He took out the seal and put it on his chest. As long as he had this life-saving talisman, he was not afraid of anything. He was only one step away from becoming a millionaire.
After leaving the arcade, he found a phone booth and called Ah Mei's home in Mong Kok. "Ask your father and find out when Ye Lin will be leaving tomorrow. Get ready to take action."

Ah Mei thought Ji Yuanping was running away pretty fast, but she had to get the money before he could leave. "I'll just leave you alone. I don't need much money. After this is done, you transfer 100 million US dollars to my account in Canada, and from now on, we're even."
After hanging up the phone, Ji Yuanping thought to himself, this woman has a really evil heart. The Ye family has been supporting her with good food and drink for all these years, but she still bites back. If he could get rid of her with 100 million US dollars, it would be fine, but if she is still not satisfied, then he would send her to accompany Ye Lin.
After Ji Yuanping walked out of the phone booth, he didn't pay attention to the two homeless people sleeping on the side of the road covered with newspapers, and walked around them. He was trying hard to separate himself from these inferior people.
"Damn it! This bastard is just as good at stealing money as he is at killing people." Li Gouqin sat up from the ground, lifted his tattered hat from his face, and started cursing. Ye Lin hummed, "How about we go shopping tomorrow?" Where is there anything fun in Hong Kong? Ye Lin supported his chin and thought seriously.
Ah Hui was almost crying with anxiety. Why didn't the young master take it seriously? "Young master, why don't you stay at home these few days? What if they go crazy? If they ask for money, we can just give it to them. It's not worth your risk."
"Ah Hui, there's a saying that a thief can steal for a thousand days but you can't be on guard against thieves for a thousand days. Go back and think about how many bodyguards to bring tomorrow.
