Chapter 9: What’s it to you if I destroy my house?

Chapter 9: What’s it to you if I destroy my house?

"Don't even think about it. I ordered it to be smashed. Mr. Ji owed Ye's rent for over a year. Isn't it wrong for me to come here to collect the debt? Legally speaking, this is my family's property. Mr. Ji is now illegally occupying and operating it. What's wrong with me smashing my own house? Mr. Ji, why don't you call the police to judge and determine who is causing trouble."

Ye Lin slowly walked out from behind the bodyguard and took off his sunglasses. His pair of dark blue eyes stared at Ji Yuanping, making people feel inexplicably chilled.

"Master, please sit down."

Ah Hui was very discerning and pulled out an undamaged chair from next to the monitor. He brushed off the non-existent dust and let Ye Lin sit down, then stood obediently behind Ye Lin.

Ji Yuanping heaved a sigh of relief when he saw that it was Ye Lin. In his eyes, Ye Lin only needed to say a few nice words and pretend to be pitiful to be deceived.

"Xiao Lin, what are you doing? Are you angry that I'm too busy lately and don't have time to accompany you? Sorry, I'll be there tomorrow."

Ye Lin was disgusted by Ji Yuanping's flattering expression. "Shut up, don't you understand? Pay the rent. You've been using this 80,000 square foot office in Central for over a year for nothing. How dare you not pay for it? Oh, and you haven't paid the water and electricity fees either, right?"

"Xiao Lin, there's a misunderstanding between us. I know you let me use this office because you're taking care of me, but didn't you agree to let me use this office before?"

Ji Yuanping wondered what was wrong with Ye Lin. How could he afford to pay him rent now? Wasn't it Ye Lin who begged him to start a business here? Now he was asking for money again.

"I let you come here for free, ha, what a joke." Ye Lin sneered and stretched out his hand towards Ji Yuanping

"Do you have any evidence? Do you have a contract? Just ask anyone on the street. Who would be so kind as to let someone use an 80,000 square foot apartment in Central for free, unless I'm your biological father?"

Seeing that Ye Lin was acting crazy today, Ji Yuanping was even more worried that his plot to murder Ye Lin would be discovered.

"Xiao Lin, don't get excited. Let's go back to the office and talk slowly."

As Ji Yuanping was about to pull Ye Lin in, before he could reach out, Ah Hui kicked him onto the desk next to him. He lay on the desk gasping for air in pain, and struggled for a few times but couldn't get up.

"You don't understand what I'm saying, right? Ah Hui, keep going until he understands." Ye Lin was too lazy to talk nonsense with him. He just wanted money now and wanted Ji Yuanping to get out. Ji Yuanping's company here was simply polluting the Ye family's land.

"Okay, Master!"

Ah Hui ran away happily, and the bodyguards continued to smash and destroy things. In less than half a minute, they were almost at Ji Yuanping's office, scaring the employees so much that they retreated one after another.

Ji Yuanping's surroundings became a vacuum zone. He ignored the pain in his stomach and staggered to his feet and said to Ye Lin

"Xiao Lin, can we discuss our affairs in private? You can ask them to stop first. The company is the result of my hard work over the years. I want to give you a bright future, so I work so hard to make money. I..."

Ye Lin couldn't stand it any longer. How could someone be so slick? "Ah Hui, just smash the general manager's office."

Clang! The office door was slammed hard on the floor. After several bodyguards stepped on the door panel and walked in, there was a crackling sound. The originally neat and elegant office instantly became like a post-war Syrian style.

"Get out of here, you bunch of hooligans! Is this the place you can enter?" Ji Yuanping didn't bother to coax Ye Lin. He rushed into the office to protect the desk and prevent the bodyguards from approaching.

Turning back, he panted and said to Ye Lin, "Xiao Lin, I can pay the rent, but I'm short of money recently. Can you give me a few days?"

Ye Lin played with his sunglasses without even looking at him. "Ah Hui, what are you standing there for?"

Ji Yuanping immediately reached out to stop him. "No, no, I'll give it to you. How much is it?"

Ye Lin calculated for him, "One floor costs HK$700,000 per month. Mr. Ji's company has been using it for 16 months, not counting the interest. The total is HK$11.2 million, equivalent to US$1.93 million. How is Mr. Ji going to pay it?"

After Ye Lin finished speaking, he raised his eyes slightly and glanced at Ji Yuanping, looking at his embarrassed appearance with contempt.

"How about this, I'll pay you half first, and the rest within a week, okay?" Ji Yuanping had lost his temper. He saw that Ye Lin couldn't be coaxed today, so he could only appease him first.

"You really don't understand what people are saying. Ah Hui, keep going. Stop when President Ji has money." After saying that, Ye Lin turned around and walked out.

"Don't worry, Master."

Ah Hui picked up the steel pipe and smashed it on Ji Yuanping's desk, accidentally brushing against Ji Yuanping. The right side of Ji Yuanping's face instantly turned red.

Looking at the dozen or so bodyguards in the room, Ji Yuanping knew that he really couldn't escape today if he didn't pay, especially the things he hid in the drawer must not be discovered by Ye Lin.

"I'll give it to you! Xiaolin, don't leave. I'll write you a check right away."

Ji Yuan turned around, covered his face, looked at Ah Hui and said, "Stop right now. I'll write a check."

Ah Hui shrugged his shoulders regretfully, put the steel rod on his shoulders and said, "You stingy guy, you should have given it to me earlier. What are you doing staring at me!"

Ji Yuanping was so angry at Ah Hui that he felt dizzy, but he couldn't refute. He took out his checkbook from his wallet, looked at it hesitantly, and then looked up at the mess in the office.

If you are ruthless, you can't catch a wolf without sacrificing your child. As long as he can keep Ye Lin stable, more than 10 million Hong Kong dollars will not be a problem in the future.

After signing the check for 11.2 million, Ji Yuanping was about to give it to Ye Lin when it was snatched away by Ahui. Ji Yuanping stared at Ahui in disbelief, wondering where this savage came from.

Ah Hui took the check, wiped it with a handkerchief, and handed it to Ye Lin. Ye Lin took a look and nodded, and Ah Hui quickly put it into his briefcase.

"Wouldn't it be great if Mr. Ji had been so sensible earlier? Okay, my house is small, Mr. Ji, please pack up your things and find a better one. And here are these IOUs, do you recognize them?" Ye Lin gestured to Ah Hui, who took out the IOUs written by Ji Yuanping from his briefcase and held them up to show Ji Yuanping.

"This, Xiaolin, is not about these..." Ye Lin asked for rent just now. Although Ji Yuanping felt distressed, he could still remain calm. But now Ye Lin asked him to pay back his previous debts. He really couldn't hold it anymore and couldn't speak fluently in a hurry.

He knew very well how much money he had "borrowed" from Ye Lin before. If he really returned it to Ye Lin, he would no longer need to run the company and could just pack up and go home. This was clearly a gift that Ye Lin insisted on giving to him!

This amount of money is just a drop in the bucket for the eldest young master Ye Lin, but it is half his life to him. How could Ye Lin force people into a desperate situation!

The more Ji Yuanping thought about it, the more resentful he felt. His eyes were bloodshot, veins popped out on his forehead, and he was breathing heavily. With his face red from being hit by Ah Hui, he looked like a gambler who had lost everything.

Ye Lin looked at Ji Yuanping, who looked like a stray dog, and a sense of pleasure flashed through his mind. He tapped the ground with his toes, wanting to see what other performances he could perform to stimulate him.

"Could it be that Mr. Ji is out of money? That shouldn't be the case. Mr. Ji only owes me 30 million Hong Kong dollars. A company as big as yours doesn't even have 30 million?" After saying this, Ye Lin leaned to the side to let the employees outside see the situation inside the office clearly.

The employees outside were whispering and discussing

"The company has no money?"

"I've heard before that several projects haven't owed final payments, and it seems to be true."

"This month's salary hasn't been paid yet. It's five or six days late. Is the company going bankrupt?"

"Then what about our wages?"

"Yes, I still have to pay the rent."
