Chapter 72: How can there be such parents!
Based on their previous experience, Song Lehan and Xu Jiangcuo specifically asked Teacher Li to lead the way.
"Just keep walking straight along here and you'll arrive." After walking 90% of the way, Teacher Li stopped and said, "You guys go ahead. I have to go home and cook."
"Okay, thank you for your help, Teacher Li." Song Lehan watched Teacher Li leave.
Xu Jiangcuo: "Be careful on the road."
The two of them walked forward quietly, and this time they finally saw a house.
This is the only single-family house.
Song Lehan and Xu Jiangcuo were sneaking around, afraid of being discovered.
They didn't get too close, and hid behind a rock, quietly observing the sounds in the house.
"No one?"
Having heard no sound for a long time, Song Lehan couldn't help but ask.
Xu Jiangcuo didn't dare to look away, always staring at the house, afraid of missing anything.
"Wait," he said.
Although Xu Jiangcuo was not very familiar with Puchi's father, he had heard about him from the villagers.
Her father loved drinking and had no ability to make money, so he took his anger out on his daughter.
Puchi's mother had to go to work to earn money for his wine. His eldest son was a good student, and he hoped that he would be filial to him in the future. His youngest son was a treasure in his old age and was spoiled.
There is only Puchi, the daughter who loses money.
Spend his money and get a little betrothal gift in return in the end.
It is for others to raise.
Therefore, the only person that Puchi’s father could attack was Puchi.
Every time he got his salary, he would go out with his drinking buddies, come home drunk, and then beat and scold Puchi.
When the mother saw this, she ignored it, and the older and younger brothers were just glad that the slap didn't fall on them.
Xu Jiangcuo had heard these things and thought they were just rumors spread by the villagers, but now he sees that they are true.
It turns out that there are really people who treat their children like this.
Even more ruthless than his parents.
"No, waiting like this isn't a solution." Song Lehan felt it was pointless to wait here. "Even if we knew Puchi was beaten, can we film it here?"
She asked a soul-searching question.
"He definitely wouldn't hit anyone outside the house, right?" Song Lehan continued, "He definitely hit them at home, so we wouldn't have filmed it."
Xu Jiangcuo: "What should we do? Should we go in?"
Song Lehan pondered for a second, and finally nodded: "This is the only way."
She looked at him and invited him: "Would you like to take another risk with me?"
Xu Jiangcuo raised his eyebrows, "If you're not afraid, why should I be afraid?"
Song Lehan: "Then let's go!"
In order to preserve accurate evidence, one person recorded the conversation while the other recorded a video.
They hid their cell phones in a secret place, but they were able to capture everything they saw.
Song Lehan and Xu Jiangcuo walked into Puchi's house at the same time.
"Is anyone there?" Song Lehan shouted into the yard.
The house was simple, consisting of two rooms, a shed, and wine bottles piled in the yard.
When he didn't hear a response, Xu Jiangcuo asked again, "Is anyone home?"
This time, there was movement in the shed.
The wooden door creaked open and Puchi's head popped out from the crack.
"Teacher Song?" she called out timidly, her eyes suddenly brightening.
Unexpectedly, Puchi would come out of the shed. Song Lehan was surprised: "Puchi, are you alone?"
"Yeah." Puchi nodded and glanced back. Seeing that no one came out of the room, she quickly ran to the door, her big eyes full of anticipation: "Teacher Song, are you here to help me?"
"Yes!" Song Lehan nodded and explained his purpose: "I'm here to collect evidence. In other words, if your parents harm your physical or mental health, we can keep the video and audio and use it to sue them."
At this point, Song Lehan asked Puchi: "Can you help us get evidence?"
"Sure!" Puchi was smart and immediately understood what she meant. "You guys hide nearby. When my dad hits me, I'll run in front of your camera."
Song Lehan's eyes flashed with pity, "I'm sorry, this is the only way we can do it."
"It's okay, Mr. Song. I'm very happy that you can come to help me." Puchi's dirty little face showed a smile: "You told us that as long as there is a slight possibility, we should try it."
“Success or failure is not important, just do it first and talk about it later.”
Puchi's eyes were firm, totally unlike what a child should have.
Song Lehan stretched out his hand and asked her, "Are you ready?"
Pu Chi stood on tiptoe, walked through the door, and held Song Lehan's hand.
"Ready!"
According to Puchi's instructions, Xu Jiangcuo and Song Lehan climbed onto the roof and hid behind the top slope.
The two set up the camera and waited silently for the person to come back.
Song Lehan accidentally discovered a hole in the roof of the shed. Following the hole, she saw the furnishings in the shed.
this……
After just one look, she couldn't help but pull Xu Jiangcuo and signaled to him.
"What's wrong?" Xu Jiangcuo asked softly. He glanced through the cave entrance and his eyes suddenly widened. "Could this be where Puchi lives?"
Song Lehan pursed her lips and agreed.
The shed was covered with a layer of straw, with a cow lying in it on one side, a bed, quilt and pillow on the other side, and a small bench placed next to it with homework books on it.
A dark blue, torn leather backpack was carefully placed against the wall.
That was the schoolbag that Puchi often carried.
So, it was Puchi who slept inside.
They actually made Puchi sleep in the cowshed!
Does she sleep here in winter too?!
No wonder!
No wonder a classmate once said that she always had a strange smell!
Song Lehan's hands clenched unconsciously, and he became more determined to take Puchi away from here!
What kind of parents are these!
Song Lehan gritted his teeth and stared at the movement in the camera with hatred.
About a quarter of an hour later, Puchi's father came back with a bottle of wine.
He was humming a song and seemed to be in a good mood.
"Puchi!" As soon as he entered the door, he shouted Puchi's name.
Puchi came out of the shed and whispered, "Dad."
"Tsk! Go get me something to eat!" Puchi's father sat drunkenly on a chair in the yard, and he put the bottle of wine hard on the table.
Puchi ran to the kitchen and soon came back with a plate of peanuts.
Puchi's father ignored her and continued eating. Puchi stood nearby, not daring to leave.
"Where's your mother?"
Puchi: "She hasn't returned from work yet."
"When are you going to work?" Puchi's father began to nitpick. "I've been staying at home for so long. Is it all for nothing?"
Puchi trembled: "I'm not an adult yet."
"Humph." Puchi's father took a sip of wine, then stood up staggeringly, his expression fierce: "I think you just don't want to make money for me!"
"You're a money-loser!"
As soon as he finished speaking, he kicked Puchi to the ground, kicking him again and again, each kick more fierce than the last.
"You're so ugly, no one wants you! If I sell you to someone else, they won't want you. What's the point of me raising you?"
"You only know how to eat and drink my food, you loser! You deserve to die! If I had known you were born, I would have buried you!"
In my ears, I heard Puchi's weak pleading voice.
"Dad, I was wrong..."
