In the South Square, the temperature dropped as time went on. The wind, shrouded in a biting chill, blew through Xia Xi's clothes from all directions. Xia Xi wore very little, and her calves were shivering from the cold.
At the beginning, the onlookers blocked the square so tightly that no one could get in or out. Later, people came and went, and then, after waiting for a long time, everyone lost their patience to watch the show and left, never to return.
Only a few dozen people were left, all of them persistent people, waiting to see the result.

In dormitory 503, Fang Huaiyuan and Yu Tingbo, who had been wandering outside, came back. Together with Chen Mian, the three of them huddled together, heads touching each other, reporting the latest developments related to Xia Xi from time to time.

Just as he reached the door, Xu Yanfeng heard Chen Mian yelling behind him, "Hey, where are you going?"
"Since you guys can't calm down, I'll go find a quiet place to stay for a while. I'll come back after you finish talking." Xu Yanfeng said coldly and slammed the dormitory door shut.
With a "bang", the room became quiet.
After a while, Fang Huaiyuan touched his chin and asked, "Do you think this method of provoking Xu Yanfeng will work?"
"Who knows?"
Chen Mian jumped up from his chair, pushed open the balcony door, and leaned on the windowsill with both hands, stretching his neck to look down. After waiting for a while, Xu Yanfeng's figure emerged from the dormitory building, stretched and shortened by the streetlights, blending into the deep night.
"What are you looking at?"
Fang Huaiyuan and Yu Tingbo came over.
Chen Mian pointed downstairs and said, "I just saw Xu Yanfeng go out."
Fang Huaiyuan's expression remained calm. "So what? It doesn't mean he's going to see Xia Xi. I think we should stay out of this. I think since Xia Xi chose to confess in this way, she should have anticipated this outcome. She's not someone who can't afford to be teased."
Success and failure each have a fifty percent probability. Xia Xi would understand this.
