The boys who had walked with Xu Yanfeng separated in front, leaving only Fu Li. He looked at Xu Yanfeng with a teasing smile on his face: "Don't say you didn't see that Xia Xi was lying."
Xia Xi said that the girl who helped her stretch her legs had an injured hand. It was obvious that she was making it up, and the girl's acting in pretending to have an injured hand was too funny. Xu Yanfeng actually believed Xia Xi and really went to help her.
He didn't believe that with Xu Yanfeng's eyesight, he would not be able to see through Xia Xi's tricks.
He was very curious about what Xu Yanfeng was thinking.
Last time at the golf course, this guy had said, "If you think Xia Xi is interesting, then go after her." How long had it been since then, and his mind had changed?
Fu Li had advised Xu Yanfeng back then not to be so confident, or he might get slapped in the face one day. He felt that day was not far off.
Xu Yanfeng took his water back from him and drank the remaining few sips. His expression did not change at all, as if he was saying that the weather was nice today: "So what if you can see it."
Fu Li was afraid he wouldn't admit it, but now that he did, it would be easy. He then asked, "I see, so why are you still following her? What's your relationship? I know your personality best. You're not someone who can be easily persuaded."
Xu Yanfeng was speechless and crushed the plastic bottle with his hands.
"Why are you silent? Haven't you figured out how to explain your behavior?" Fu Li smiled. "That's right. It means that your action of helping her was completely out of instinct. You didn't give your brain much time to think, so you can't find the reason for doing it."
Xu Yanfeng glanced at him lightly: "When did you study psychology?"
"Do I still need to learn? Aren't you showing off your thoughts?" Fu Li spread his hands, "It's clear at a glance."
"You and Chen Mian should have something to talk about when you get together." Xu Yanfeng squeezed the plastic bottle in his hand, making a crackling sound, and sneered, "You two just love to talk nonsense."
"You think I'm talking nonsense?" Fu Li said, "When did you become so dishonest, Xu Yanfeng?"
"Whatever you think."
"Well, give me a reason to help Xia Xi." Fu Li did not let him go and pressed him step by step, "As long as you give it to me, I will believe that you have no feelings for her. I am overthinking and slandering you."
Passing by a trash can, Xu Yanfeng stopped, raised his hand and threw a plastic bottle in, saying indifferently: "I just wanted to see what she was up to. Is this reason enough?"
Fu Li was choked and raised his hands in surrender. He was the loser; he couldn't match Xu Yanfeng in terms of tough talk.
"OK, I believe now that you have no feelings for Xia Xi." Fu Li put one hand in his pocket, glanced at him, and pretended to be relieved. "I wasn't kidding you before. I really think that girl Xia Xi is quite interesting. So I'll pursue her? I've told you about it. Don't accuse me of not respecting brotherhood when the time comes."
Xu Yanfeng paused slightly and looked at Fu Li's face, trying to figure out whether what he said was a joke or true.
However, Fu Li's eyes were serious and firm, without a trace of amusement. Even Xu Yanfeng, who was well versed in understanding people's hearts, could not tell the truth from the falsehood, and his heart inexplicably tightened.
Fu Li curved her lips, smiled faintly, and asked for his opinion again: "Is it okay?"
Xu Yanfeng had previously followed Fu Li's words and admitted that he had no interest in Xia Xi. Could he say no now? He couldn't do such a thing.
"what ever."
After casually saying two words that were neither light nor heavy, Xu Yanfeng took out his cell phone and pretended to check messages, and the topic ended there.
"Hey, don't leave, we haven't finished talking about business yet..."
Xu Yanfeng took fast and big steps, and Fu Li chased after him, shouting at him at the top of his voice.

The physical examination was over before noon. The winter sun was not too strong and it felt warm on my face.
Xia Xi and his roommates decided to go to the cafeteria to fill their stomachs first, and then go back to the dormitory to sleep for the afternoon to replenish the energy lost in the morning.
Today is Sunday, and students have different lunch times. There are not many people in the cafeteria right now, unlike school days when the windows are crowded with people at noon.
Xia Xi bought a set meal because it included her favorite sweet and sour pork ribs. She found an empty seat with her tray and sat down, unpicking her disposable chopsticks. Suddenly, someone approached from the opposite side, casting a shadow over her. She had to save a seat for her roommate, so before they sat down, she quickly explained, "Excuse me, there's..."
As he spoke, Xia Xi raised his eyes, paused, and did not finish his words.
Fu Li rarely came to the cafeteria to eat, and he didn't live in the school dormitory. He was much pickier than Xu Yanfeng. He walked around the two rows of windows and bought the same set meal as Xia Xi. He had just been in the queue behind her, but she never looked back.
Xia Xi: "It's you."
"Do you still remember me?" Fu Li smiled.
"Of course." Xia Xi emphasized all the people and events related to Xu Yanfeng in her mind. How could she not remember them? "Xu Yanfeng's childhood friend is called Fu... Li. Right?"
"That's right." Fu Li nodded at the empty seat opposite her. "You just said there's someone here, right?"
The table seated six people, and two strangers took up two seats, leaving four just enough for the four girls in Xia Xi's dormitory. As soon as Fu Li asked this question, the two girls finished their meal and left with their dishes.
Xia Xi changed her tone: "You can sit down now."
Fu Li raised his eyebrows slightly, put down his plate, and sat down across from her. He was tall, and his gaze easily passed over Xia Xi's head, looking at Xu Yanfeng, who was sitting a few tables behind her.
Their eyes met briefly in mid-air.
Xia Xi didn't have eyes behind her, so she didn't realize Xu Yanfeng was behind her. But she quickly noticed that the dishes on Fu Li's plate were exactly the same as hers: sweet and sour pork ribs, shrimp with green beans, mushrooms with salt and pepper, stir-fried broccoli, and tomato and egg drop soup. She calmly looked away, ate a shrimp, and asked, "Do you want to talk to me?"
