Xu Yanfeng closed his eyes and discarded his previous thoughts. It was impossible to rely on her self-awareness. He forcefully pulled her hand away, stood up, and walked out without saying a word.
Behind him, Xia Xi was lying on his side on the bed, holding his stomach and laughing, his laughter as clear as a wind chime.
Xu Yanfeng's face darkened, knowing she was doing it on purpose. He closed the door for her, wishing he could lock it again, lest she get excited in the middle of the night and sneak out to attack him again. That was something she would do.

After a good night's dream, Xia Xi woke up in a bed filled with the scent of Xu Yanfeng. She turned over, buried her face in the pillow and took a deep sniff. She dozed off for a while, stretched herself, got up, and turned off the ringing alarm on her cell phone.
She went to the cloakroom to find a new set of clothes, removed the tag, put them on, and went to the bathroom to wash up.
When she finished tidying up and walked into the living room, Xu Yanfeng was already dressed neatly, taking off his expensive suit from last night and regaining his handsome and cheerful student look.
He was ticking his watch when he heard footsteps and raised his head. His eyes weren't as bright as usual, and a hint of fatigue appeared on them. Before he could speak, Xia Xi tilted her head and said, "You didn't get enough rest last night?" She was puzzled. "Didn't you go to bed early?"
Xu Yanfeng: “…”
He adjusted the strap and reminded her, "Have you taken your bag and phone? Don't forget anything."
Xia Xi: "I haven't had breakfast yet."
"Take you out to eat."
Xia Xi stopped hesitating and took action immediately. He went back to his room to get his personal belongings, followed Xu Yanfeng out, took the elevator down, sat in the passenger seat of the Mercedes-Benz, fastened his seat belt consciously, and hummed a song in a good mood.
Xu Yanfeng took her to the breakfast shop in North City they had been to before. Xia Xi still remembered the time she vomited while drinking soy milk. She frowned and declined the offer. "Why are you here?"
"His soup dumplings are also very famous. You'll know when you try them."
Xu Yanfeng walked in and ordered the same thing as usual, a tray of soup dumplings, a plate of beef pancakes, and a bowl of osmanthus red bean porridge for Xia Xi.
Not long after they sat down, the customer at the next table had no interest in eating breakfast. He kept glancing at them, wanting to say something but stopping himself. Finally, he couldn't suppress his curiosity and called out to Xia Xi, "Little girl, did you have an abortion?"
