Zhou Hongsheng was stunned by the blow, and several clear fingerprints appeared on his face. He stared at the woman in front of him, and in an instant, all his lustful thoughts disappeared, leaving only anger.
He stood up from his chair, pointed at the woman and yelled, "Who are you? Do I know you? How dare you hit someone like that?"
Just as Zhou Hongsheng finished cursing, two tall men rushed over from somewhere. They were burly, wearing black shirts and black suits, with dignified faces and headsets, like professional bodyguards.
Zhou Hongsheng swallowed hard, his anger instantly extinguished. He bluffed and said, "She hit me first, so she's right?"
The two bodyguards remained silent.
The beauty tried hard to open her blurry eyes, looked at him carefully for a while, and then put on an apologetic expression: "Sorry, I recognized the wrong person. You look a bit like my ex-boyfriend who cheated on me."
The beauty stood up, clasped her hands together, bowed slightly, and apologized again: "I'm really sorry, it's my fault, please don't bother with me."
She waved her fair and tender hand, and the two bodyguards retreated silently, hiding in the shadows.
Seeing Zhou Hongsheng staring at the two burly men, the beautiful woman had no choice but to explain to him, "My dad arranged these bodyguards. He was worried about the safety of a girl like me going out. Did I scare you?" Her beautiful eyes flickered as she pointed at the wine glass in front of him and said, "How about this? I'll pay for your drinks tonight. Consider it my apology to you."
It is said that one should not hit a smiling person. Facing such a rich and beautiful woman, and the misunderstanding has been explained clearly, Zhou Hongsheng would seem petty if he still cares about it.
"It's okay." Zhou Hongsheng sat back, pulled the corners of his mouth and forced a smile.
"No fight, no acquaintance. My name is Chen Zhiwei, what's your name?"
"Zhou Hongsheng."
The bartender brought out a bottle of the most expensive wine in the store, confirmed it with Chen Zhiwei, opened it in front of her, and poured her a glass.
"Fortunately, your last name is Zhou." Chen Zhiwei gave the bartender a look and pointed at Zhou Hongsheng next to her.
The bartender understood, took another glass and poured one for Zhou Hongsheng as well.
Zhou Hongsheng started chatting with Chen Zhiwei: "Why do you say I'm lucky to have the last name Zhou?"
"If your last name was Zhao, I'd start to suspect you and my ex-boyfriend were brothers. You two really do look a bit alike. No, no, no, more than a bit, a lot. I'll introduce you two to each other someday..." At this point, Chen Zhiwei shook her head, a trace of pain uncontrollably showing on her face. "Forget it, we've broken up completely, and there's no chance we'll ever meet again."
She smiled bitterly, picked up the wine glass in front of her and drank it all. Tears fell from the corners of her eyes, and she wiped them away with her hand.
Zhou Hongsheng raised his hand, wanting to pat her on the back to comfort her, but he hesitated for a few seconds and did not lower his hand, fearing that he would offend the beauty and make her think he was frivolous.
"Let the past be the past. Isn't it popular these days to say 'break up, break up, the next one will last longer, say goodbye, the next one will be better.'" Zhou Hongsheng said, "You should thank God for letting you see the true face of that man before getting married. Unlike me, I only realized what kind of person my partner was after I got married."
Chen Zhiwei seemed to have heard a story in him. She raised an eyebrow and asked curiously, "You have a wife? Is she a bad person?"
Zhou Hongsheng took a sip of wine, smiled miserably, and dropped a bombshell: "Did you know? My wife killed my own mother..."
Chen Zhiwei covered her lips, as if frightened: "How could this happen?"

The kindergarten was going to hold a parent-teacher meeting on Monday. The teacher told the children many days in advance and asked them to go back and notify their parents to attend. This was also a test of their ability to communicate things.
Before leaving the house this morning, Ziheng found an opportunity to remind Xu Yanfeng: "Don't forget what you promised me, this afternoon..."
"I didn't forget. There's a parents' meeting this afternoon." Xu Yanfeng said, "I'll be there on time."
"What are you two, father and son, whispering about there? It's time to go." Xia Xi was standing at the entrance changing shoes. She turned around and saw Ziheng tugging at the hem of Xu Yanfeng's suit. Xu Yanfeng bent down, and the two of them were talking together in a mysterious manner.
Youyou was getting impatient waiting: "Xia Ziheng, we're going to be late."
Xu Yanfeng stood up straight and patted Ziheng on the back of his head: "Go with mom quickly."
He had a meeting this morning that started early, and Xia Xi took the child to kindergarten.
In the afternoon, Xu Yanfeng arrived at school half an hour early. There were chairs neatly arranged in the open space behind the classroom, which were prepared for students' parents. Xu Yanfeng greeted the teacher and chose a chair to sit down.
Ziheng turned his head and saw him, his lips curled up, and he patted Youyou's arm: "Dad is here."
Youyou glanced back and said, "I've also told Xiaoyue's mother that I hope she can come to help me with the parent-teacher conference." Youyou sighed, "It's a pity that her leg is injured and hasn't healed yet."
The students' parents arrived one after another, and the back row of chairs gradually filled up, and the atmosphere in the class became lively. Looking around, most of the people attending the parent-teacher conference were mothers, and Xu Yanfeng stood out among them.
A little fat boy sitting behind Ziheng poked him on the back with a pen: "Hey, Xia Ziheng, didn't you say your dad would come? Where's your dad?"
Ziheng didn't look back. He leaned back, raised the front legs of his chair, and rested the backrest on the edge of the table behind him. "Can't you see? The tallest and most handsome one is my dad. Your brain is stupid to begin with, it's not enough for studying. Stop listening to rumors. Who said I don't have a dad?"
The little fat man looked behind him and immediately found the tallest and most handsome man he was talking about. He was wearing a black suit and tie, like an elite in a TV drama.
