There were five designers participating in the show: two women and three men, all from renowned design firms. Boya was relatively unknown in comparison. As Lu Mingji had said, if it weren't for his friend being the show's director, Boya wouldn't have gotten the chance to participate.
Xia Xi didn't need to put on makeup, so she sat in the lounge waiting. Xiao He filled a paper cup with warm water for her, then went to the adjacent dressing room to check on the progress of the other makeup artists.
