Chapter 349 The wedding will be based on his preferences

Zhao Lei: “…”

As if they had heard a joke, the two looked at each other silently for a while before laughing.

Zhao Lei's leisurely comment: "I wonder if you two got the wrong script?"

Xia Xi shrugged: "Maybe, who knows..."

Before he finished speaking, several brightly colored women, led by waiters, appeared around the corner of the second floor, approaching from afar. Xia Xi was familiar with all of them, and one of them was extremely familiar.

Lingyan was in a low mood, wearing a bucket hat and looking down as she blended in with the others. Ever since she posted her apology video online, she'd been holed up in her house. Today, a few childhood friends came to visit her and invited her for afternoon tea, saying they had a highly rated restaurant online perfect for taking photos and checking in. She didn't want to go out, but her mother persuaded her to go out for a walk to relax, and she reluctantly agreed.

I never thought I would meet such annoying people here.

She casually raised her eyelids and was met with a bright face. Xia Xi's appearance was so striking that it was hard to ignore. She wore a blue slip dress with floral prints. The skirt clung to her curves and flared at the ankles. It was tied with a wide-waisted ruffle, revealing the white skin of her neck and arms. Her black hair was tied sideways and flowed in front of her. She wore minimal makeup, but her facial features were clearly noticeable.

"What are you looking at?"

Liang Yuan and Zhao Lei both noticed that Xia Xi was staring in one direction for a long time. They looked over curiously and were stunned.

"Enemies often meet on a narrow road." Liang Yuan sneered softly.

Lingyan wanted to call her best friends to change places, but they had already dispersed, holding up their phones and taking pictures everywhere, and even handing their phones to each other, asking them to help take pictures of themselves and the background.

It would seem pretentious to turn around and leave at this time. Ling Yan found a seat to sit down, took off her fisherman's hat, turned her head to talk to the waiter, and ordered some cakes and drinks.

It was suffocating to be in the same space with Xia Xi. Ling Yan had no appetite to eat. She only drank a few sips of coffee and looked down at her phone, pretending that person didn't exist.

Her best friend invited her to take a photo, but she was not interested and declined calmly.

Xia Xi and the others arrived early and sat for a while, eating most of their food. Liang Yuan suggested leaving. Xia Xi called the waiter to pay the bill and then went to the bathroom.

Liang Yuan and Zhao Lei went to the bathroom when they left the mall, so he didn't accompany her.

Xia Xi came out of the cubicle and stood in front of the sink to wash her hands. When she was checking her makeup in the mirror, she saw Ling Yan walking in. Her eyes paused, and she lowered her head as if nothing had happened and took a tissue to wipe her hands.
