Xia Xi went home and had dinner. She gave the two little babies a perfunctory kiss on the face, went back to her room, took a shower, and fell asleep.
Before going to bed, she did not forget to set the alarm on her phone to prevent herself from oversleeping the next morning.
Unfortunately, Xia Xi underestimated her sleep quality. The next morning, when the alarm went off, she was still sound asleep. The piercing noise of "ding-ling-ling" didn't wake her up at all. She only vaguely heard some movement and thought she was dreaming, so she turned over, covered her ears and continued to sleep.
Su Jinru was not clear about the situation. Seeing that Xia Xi had been very busy in the past few days, she thought that she could have a good rest now that she was done with her work, so she did not disturb her. She watched the two children finish their breakfast and sent them to kindergarten.
Grandma was at home. She put breakfast in an insulated box and sat on the sofa reading a book.

Grandma raised her sleepy eyes, closed the book and put it on the armrest of the sofa, then glanced towards Xia Xi's room: "I didn't see him come out, I guess he's still sleeping."
Su Jinru saw that she was a little tired and said, "If you are sleepy, go to bed. It is easy to catch a cold if you doze off."
Although there is floor heating at home, the elderly have a weak constitution and will catch a cold easily if they are not careful.
Grandma waved her hand and said with a smile, "If you sleep during the day, you will be even more unable to sleep at night."

Winning the competition was only the first step; there were still many things she needed to deal with. She pulled an all-nighter to create the design she presented yesterday. Some details she hadn't considered at the time, and while it looked complete, it didn't hold up to scrutiny, requiring considerable refinement and improvement.
After hurriedly brushing her teeth and washing her face, without even having time to put on makeup, Xia Xi grabbed her bag, unplugged her phone charging cable, and plugged it in, hurriedly saying, "I'm leaving."
"Hey, hey, hey, bring your breakfast with you!" Grandma shouted at her back.
Xia Xi stood at the entrance changing her shoes. Su Jinru went to the kitchen to get a plastic bag, filled it with two buns and a corn, and stuffed it into her bag: "You're late anyway, don't worry about driving on the way."

After they left, the house suddenly became quiet. Su Jinru picked up the slippers scattered on the floor and put them in the shoe cabinet: "This morning has been a mess."
Grandma sighed, "I don't know how she managed those years abroad alone."
Su Jinru's bent body suddenly paused, and she slowly closed the door of the shoe cabinet, an indescribable sadness spreading over her.

When Xia Xi rushed to the company, it was already past ten o'clock. Because she didn't wear any makeup, she wore a mask and a knitted hat to slightly cover her cheeks which looked a little pale.
Passing by the open office area, her colleagues looked at her. Seeing that she couldn't avoid them, she had to stop and smiled sheepishly: "Well... I overslept."
Unexpectedly, they suddenly stopped what they were doing and started clapping as if they had received training, which stunned Xia Xi.
"We all heard from Xiao Pei that you, Mr. Xia, turned the tide during the competition yesterday and helped Boya win a great comeback!"
"Yes, yes. We just found out that the design plan you prepared at the beginning was stolen."
"It's a shame we weren't there. The scene Xiao Pei described reminded me of a scene from a hot-blooded comic! He said that at the last minute when the pitch deadline was announced, you flung open the conference room door and charged in with your team!"
