The person who spoke lowered his voice, and Wu Qinglu couldn't hear what he said next. Her intuition told her that things were not simple. She didn't leave. She crouched down, walked lightly towards the door, put her ear to the door panel, and held her breath.
There were two people in the bathroom. They knew Xia Xi was at the pool and planned to "accidentally" knock her into the pool. This would ruin her makeup and soak her skirt, making her look embarrassed in front of everyone.
Wu Qinglu was not familiar with either of the two voices and could not tell who it was, but their conversation continued.
One of them said with a hint of worry in his voice: "What if she finds out?"
The other person was a bit bolder and said with a sneer, "By then, she will be too busy to take care of herself. What can she do?"
"I feel like she's not easy to mess with."
"Please, with so many people here, let's just say it wasn't intentional. If she persists, what will everyone think of her? They'll just think she's petty and intolerant. Even if she's angry, she has to hold it in and act magnanimous, otherwise she'll lose her popularity."

After a moment's thought, she suddenly remembered the two people's clothing; they looked familiar. The one in the blue dress must be Zhou Xiaoyu, and the one in the red dress was her best friend, Zhao Yinshu.
She had never dealt with these two people at close range and had only seen them a few times, so she couldn't recognize them just by listening to their voices.
Zhou Xiaoyu and Xia Xi had a history of grudges. Xia Xi had told her that Zhou Xiaoyu had maliciously targeted her more than once, causing her to lose her position as head of the External Relations Department. She had been holding a grudge against her. Even when Zhao Yinshu and Xia Xi voted for the cheerleading captaincy, it was to help Zhou Xiaoyu vent her anger.
These two rotten fish and shrimp are considered to be together.
Wu Qinglu was worried that Xia Xi had fallen into their trap, so she quickly got up from the ground, brushed off the dust on her skirt, and jogged back to the indoor swimming pool, almost bumping into someone.
The other person held her arm. She looked up and saw a happy expression: "Xixi!"
"Why are you running so fast?" Xia Xi let go of her hand. Wu Qinglu's face was flushed in her sight. She didn't know if it was because of the heat or something else, but her forehead was sweating. "You went to the bathroom for so long. I thought something happened to you and was about to go look for you."
Reminded by her words, Wu Qinglu realized that she had forgotten to go to the toilet. No wonder she felt so uncomfortable.
But she didn't have time to solve her personal problems. She grabbed Xia Xi's hand and hurried to a secluded place. She swallowed her saliva and said anxiously, "Listen to me, don't go to the indoor swimming pool. Even if you do, stay away from the pool. Zhou Xiaoyu is going to plot against you."
Xia Xi was a little confused when she heard this: "Plotting against me?"
"I just happened to overhear Zhou Xiaoyu and Zhao Yinshu discussing how to deal with you outside the bathroom. They wanted to pretend to bump into you accidentally, but they were actually trying to push you into the water and embarrass you in public."
Wu Qinglu thought to herself, thank goodness she went to the farthest bathroom. If she hadn't known about the two people's plan beforehand, Xia Xi would have been in trouble! She could swim, but getting soaked in her skirt was too embarrassing.
Their plans were not very harmful but very insulting.
After hearing what she said, Xia Xi's face darkened, and a surge of anger surged to her head, but she quickly calmed down. Only a fool would choose to sit and wait for death. She was smart, so of course she would fight back.
"I can't do it anymore. I have to go to the bathroom." Wu Qinglu rubbed her lower abdomen. She had eaten too much for dinner and her stomach was not feeling well. Before leaving, she emphasized to Xia Xi, "Be careful and don't fall for their tricks."
Xia Xi patted her arm: "Go quickly, don't hold it in."
Wu Qinglu ran away.
Xia Xi stayed there for a while, and heard bursts of laughter coming from the direction of the indoor swimming pool. He turned his head and saw that more and more people were gathering there, even those who were playing billiards and screen projection games.
The butler brought in several servings of fruit drinks for them to enjoy.
Xu Yanfeng was also there, but he wasn't having any swimming competitions like the other immature boys. He sat on the side of a recliner, his posture somewhat casual, his palm upward, holding a tall glass. The glass didn't contain wine, but sparkling water. He was talking to Fu Li, and Ling Yan stood beside him. She said something, and he looked up at her and continued chatting with Fu Li.
Suddenly, he seemed to realize something and looked around, as if he was looking for someone.
Who is he looking for?
Xia Xi was at an angle where she could see the indoor swimming pool, but the people in the indoor swimming pool could not see her. She silently observed Xu Yanfeng's every move. Could he be looking for her?
The corners of her lips curled slightly, her mind raced, and a plan emerged.
Facing an enemy ambush, fighting back is no big deal. A truly smart person will not only avoid danger, but also take advantage of the situation to achieve his goal.
