Chapter 1 Tragic Death (Part 1)

The moon was as cool as water. The icy moonlight spread over the magnificent Yinfeng Palace of the Queen of Dongyou Kingdom. "Ah!!" Bursts of screams came from the palace. The current Queen Su Yue was trying her best to give birth.

Basins of bright red blood were brought out from the hall by palace maids. Each of them looked nervous and dared not even breathe. "My queen, please try harder." The midwife was sweating profusely at this time and did not dare to relax for a moment.

The queen is really too fat. With a body weighing more than 200 pounds, she cannot guarantee that she can give birth to a prince safely.

Su Yue was in so much pain that she couldn't speak, and could only instinctively follow the midwife's instructions and push harder.

"It's almost there, it's almost there, it's coming out a little bit." The midwife, who had been busy for almost an hour, finally saw a little flesh color coming out.

"Your Majesty, Your Majesty, please push harder. The midwife said it will be soon." The young girl in pink palace dress beside her had a worried look on her face, wishing she could suffer the pain of giving birth for the queen.

That cold-hearted emperor didn't even come to see the Empress giving birth. He must be with the Empress's sister, Concubine Jin. However, she did not intend to tell the Queen about this for now. The most important thing was to give birth to a prince safely.

"This...this...go and call the imperial physician!" As Su Yue tried harder, the midwife also saw clearly that it was the baby's feet that came out first. You know, during normal childbirth, the head comes out first. This queen was obviously having a difficult delivery!

"No need, I'll do it. Xiaohe, you just continue to guard the queen." A beautiful woman walked to the door. The golden hairpin on her head, which symbolized the emperor's favor, swayed with her steps.

"Empress Jin, although you are the disciple of the King of Medicine, the Empress bled too much during childbirth. I'm afraid you'll be scared. I'd better go find the imperial physician." Xiao He was stopped by the woman and was obviously very anxious.

"Doctors are kind-hearted. Besides, the Queen is my sister. How could I be afraid?" Afraid? What a joke! She had been planning for many years just for this moment. If she wasn't allowed to see Su Yue's miserable appearance with her own eyes, what a regret her life would be.

"Xiao...Xiao He, let your sister in." Xiao He wanted to stop her, but she heard the queen's extremely weak voice coming from the bed.

Xiao He had no choice but to step aside. Concubine Jin gave her an indifferent look and said, "The Queen is in the critical period of giving birth. I need quiet time to treat her. You all should step aside."

"Yes." Everyone obeyed the order and retreated. After all, everyone in the palace knew that Concubine Jin was the only disciple of the current King of Medicine, and her medical skills were unquestionable.

Su Xin walked into the inner room and saw Su Yue, whose face was pale and whose bright yellow quilt was soaked with blood, which was dripping down to the bed.

Su Xin just felt extremely happy in her heart. "Sister, you seem to be having a difficult delivery." Seeing that Su Yue's baby came out one foot first, she couldn't help but feel secretly happy, thinking that God was helping her.

"Sister, you are the disciple of the King of Medicine, can you please save me?" Su Yue stretched out her bloodless right hand, trying to grab the life-saving straw in front of her.

Unfortunately, what she thought was a life-saving straw turned out to be a deadly rope.

"Sister, I have a solution for this situation." Su Xinxiu's eyes were filled with cold murderous intent, but unfortunately Su Yue, who had lost half of her life at this time, did not notice it.

"Sister, what...s the solution?" Su Yue felt a little relieved when she heard that she could be saved.

"That's right, a caesarean section." Su Xin whispered in Su Yue's ear, a bloodthirsty smile on her cherry lips, like a Shura crawling out of hell to claim her life.

She stared at Su Yue's beautiful phoenix eyes under her long eyelashes, full of disbelief. From childhood to adulthood, she planned step by step to ruin Su Yue's figure and appearance.

But no matter what she did, these eyes, which were so beautiful that they attracted people's attention, never changed. How could Su Yue have such a beautiful thing?

"Sister, don't look at me like that. I feel pity for you when you are stared at by such beautiful eyes." Her long nails scratched the corners of Su Yue's eyes. Su Yue wanted to dodge, but she really didn't have the strength.

"Ah!" A heart-wrenching pain came from both eyes. Su Xin's hideous face became the last picture in Su Yue's eyes, and then everything went dark.

Bone-eating pain came from her eyes, and Su Xin actually gouged out her eyes.

"Why!" Su Yue's voice was shrill, and two lines of blood flowed from the corners of his eyes into the pillow under his head.

She didn't understand why her sister, who had always been gentle and considerate, was now like a murderous ghost.

"Empress! Empress! How are you? Concubine Jin, aren't you afraid of the Emperor's punishment for treating Her Majesty like this?" Xiao He heard Su Yue's screams and ran in hurriedly. The first thing she saw was the Empress who had lost her eyes.

"The Emperor? Haha, Su Yue, you don't think the Emperor really loves you, do you? Open your eyes and look carefully. He didn't even come for such a big event as your childbirth." She threw away Su Yue's eyeballs with an indifferent expression, took out a handkerchief and wiped them gently.

"Oh, I forgot. You can't see now. But for the emperor, you are no longer useful. You are always smart. You can't have thought of this, right?"

"Someone come, the Queen is having a difficult delivery and needs a caesarean section." Seeing that Su Yue didn't say anything, she didn't want to waste time. The people she brought with her had been waiting outside the door for a long time.

"If you want to touch the Queen, you'll have to step over my dead body!" Xiao He saw two ferocious guards rushing in and stretched out her hands to stop them.

"You are loyal, but it's a pity that your queen has always been mean to you. But since you want to die, I will grant your wish." As soon as he finished speaking, one of the guards understood and stabbed him with a knife.

"Ah..." Xiao He let out a scream, and then there was silence, terrifying silence.

"Xiao He, Xiao He. What's wrong with you?" She couldn't see now and didn't know what was going on. She could only call Xiao He helplessly in tears.

"Stop shouting. She has gone to the underworld to scout the way for you." Su Xin nodded, and saw two guards drawing their daggers and approaching Su Yue who was lying on the bed step by step.

"What are you doing? Don't come near me! I order you to go away!" Feeling someone approaching, Su Yue panicked. She tried her best and grabbed around with both hands.

The next moment, her legs were held down tightly and her stomach was cut open, causing her to feel pain that was ten or a hundred times more painful than having her eyes gouged out. She felt her life slipping away quickly.

"Ah!! Su Xin! I will not let you go even if I become a ghost!" The shrill screams echoed in Yinfeng Palace.

"Wow..." A cry interrupted Su Yue's scream. "Empress Jin, it's a prince." The cold voice of the man in black reached Su Yue's ears.

"A prince? It's just a stillborn baby." Su Xin's voice was like an ice-cold dagger, piercing her heart.
