Chapter 10

Chapter 10

After manufacturing the toilet, venting system, and stacked fuel tank, a small portion of the materials were used.

She made the stacked fuel tank twice this time, the second time using 100 iron, 100 copper, 50 silver, 10 gold, and 2 glue.

Including the first time she stacked it, she has stacked it a total of 3 times, and the current tank capacity is 330 units.

Once the tank is filled with gas at daybreak, the storage compartment will have plenty of space that was previously occupied by the gas drum.

She wanted to save the materials for upgrading her car, unless absolutely necessary.

She couldn't stand the cramped space of the car anymore; she woke up every day with a sore back, aching legs, and numbness.

Qiao Ning just wants to upgrade the car as soon as possible. She doesn't need a lot of space after the upgrade; she just wants a place where she can stretch out her arms and legs and lie down.

Open the chat channel, and you're bombarded with countless messages of lamentation and complaints.

[Help! Someone please save me! I'm out of water, I'm dying of thirst... My elderly, paralyzed father is waiting for me to go back and take care of him, I can't die!]

[Upstairs, try a different story. This morning you said you had a paralyzed elderly mother, and tonight it's your father? Besides, we've entered this hellish game; surviving today or tomorrow is difficult enough, let alone leaving alive.]

[Does anyone have any fruits or vegetables? Laxatives or hemorrhoid cream are also fine. I really can't take it anymore. Constipation and hemorrhoids are killing me; I feel like my stomach is about to explode. I can't sit or lie down; it's so painful.]

[I'm looking to buy a humidifier bulb at a high price. My nose is bleeding, and it hurts every time I breathe. Putting water in my car to evaporate and humidify is too wasteful; even a wealthy person wouldn't dare waste water like that.]

[Selling moisturizing wipes and face cream. DM me if interested. No haggling, anyone who tries to bargain will be warned and blocked after three or more warnings.]

I'm starving and thirsty. I really regret not listening to that Qiao Ning before, not worrying about the gas every day, and instead bringing in more supplies. Things wouldn't be like this now. Everything is ridiculously expensive, and the little supplies I have can't buy anything.

[Upstairs +1, they must be kicking themselves now. It's clear they had the ability and foresight to get on the district-wide announcement back then. It's just a pity we didn't see as far ahead and didn't listen to advice...]

As they talked, everyone started to regret their actions on the channel, and some even openly tagged Qiao Ning, asking her for help.

"Hey boss, I know you must have a lot of supplies, more than you can use. Could you share some with me to save my life? You save me this time, and I'll give you some of the supplies I get in the future! Just take half, leave me some to live."

[@Qiao Ning, please help me! I'm dying of thirst. I have two children waiting for me to go back and raise them. Please!]

[Qiao Ning, I know you're here. Can't you see so many people confessing to you, begging you for mercy? Why don't you come out and speak up? Are you pretending not to see? What's the use of all those supplies except letting them mold? Don't forget how many people have died in our server; you won't get away with this!]

From the moment this message was sent at, the people below seemed to be provoked, and their initial pleading turned into a righteous demand.

Even when someone speaks up for Qiao Ning, they are met with vicious curses and insults from some people.

The fickleness and ugliness of human nature are exposed under this drought disaster.

Qiao Ning couldn't quite describe her feelings. She only knew that if she showed up and spoke now, no matter what she did or said, it would be difficult to quell the resentment of these people who were struggling to survive.

This road survival game has only just begun, but it has already turned some people into something neither human nor ghost.

Just as Qiao Ning was about to turn off the lights and go to sleep, she suddenly saw a private message sent to her:

[Sister Qiao, don't reply to those people. Take care of yourself. The drop rate of resources in the early stages of this game is already high enough. As long as you allocate them reasonably, you won't be in dire straits. Some of those people might actually be in dire straits, but most of them are just trying to get something for nothing. Don't be soft-hearted and give away all your resources.]

Qiao Ning smiled and replied, "Don't worry, I'm not that stupid."

She knew perfectly well that this was a survival game. They might need to support each other later on to ensure the overall survival rate of the area, but at the same time, they were also competitors for survival.

After thanking Li Yangxing, Qiao Ning went to sleep, seemingly unaffected by the comments in the chat channel earlier.

Before going to bed, Qiao Ning put three humidifying water balloons in her car so that they would be used up more slowly and she wouldn't have to worry about changing them in the middle of the night.

I. Qiao Ning woke up around 7 a.m. after a deep sleep.

The three humidifying water bulbs are almost empty, deflated, and no longer usable.

Qiao Ning took out two more and put them in the car.

This thing is a consumable. Today is even drier than yesterday. Without moisturizing or humidifying products, I can't drive properly, or even breathe and survive.

It seems that the water ball manufacturing machine also needs to be built as soon as possible.

She already has the blueprints; all she needs are the materials.

500 iron blocks, 500 copper blocks, 200 silver blocks, 100 gold blocks, 100 rubber blocks, 100 glass blocks, 50 glue blocks, 1 electrical box

Everything else is sufficient, except for the electrical box.

Qiao Ning asked Li Yangxing, who didn't have an electrical box either. She said he would wait until he opened the supply box today or fought the treasure-guarding monster to see if it would drop.

Qiao Ning searched the trading market again, but found nothing.

It seems that no one has managed to get their hands on this yet.

Qiao Ning used three eggs and a little water to make a steamed egg dish. She poured on soy sauce, added a few drops of sesame oil, and sprinkled a little salt. One bite, and it was incredibly delicious.

Some of her seasonings were replaced, while others were from the seasoning packets she had opened earlier.

I drank a bag of yogurt and a bottle of water, and then began my new day's journey.

The road was flat and there were no other vehicles or obstacles. Qiao Ning was very bored while driving and would occasionally open the system interface to check the message list.

Li Yangxing is a chatterbox, and he would send her everyday tidbits of information in a rambling manner.

She might not have liked listening to this before, but now, listening to Li Yangxing chat is probably one of her few forms of entertainment.

Li Yangxing seems to frequently encounter treasure-guarding monsters, and sometimes he encounters more than one at a time.

Qiao Ning couldn't imagine how a boy who was only eighteen years old could kill so many monsters.

No wonder he was so short of healing medicine. Given the frequency and number of times he encountered treasure-guarding monsters, the healing medicine Qiao Ning gave him might not even be enough.

Thinking of this, Qiao Ning sent them a package of external wound spray and a vial of internal wound medicine via email.

Anyway, she hadn't encountered any treasure-guarding monsters, so these medicines were really useless to her.

Li Yangxing was probably engaged in battle; after receiving the email, he didn't even have time to reply.

The chat channel was much calmer than last night. There were still some insults directed at Qiao Ning, but far fewer than last night. Perhaps everyone was busy finding supplies and didn't have time to look for her.

Qiao Ning still drove for 11 hours straight, until 8 p.m. before turning off the engine to rest.

She had just parked her car when she heard a ding-dong notification, indicating that she had received a new email.

When she opened her email in the system interface, sure enough, her "material supplier" had shipped the goods.

Two pieces of equipment were also sent along with the materials.
