Chapter 3 RV Materials
Gu Mozhi looked at Fu Sinan and said softly, "Let's rest. We need to get up at six o'clock tomorrow morning to leave."
Fu Sinan nodded and replied, "Okay, this vehicle is indeed a bit small. We need to work hard to earn materials to buy a motorhome. By the way, what materials do we need for today's motorhome blueprints?"
Gu Mozhi hadn't looked at it carefully before, so he quickly rummaged through his bag and took out the RV blueprints, unfolded them, and examined them with Fu Sinan.
"Hmm... The RV blueprints require 3000 metal materials, 500 rubber, 100 ordinary glass, 1000 bulletproof glass, and 20 electronic components." Gu Mozhi read the material list on the blueprints.
Upon hearing this, Fu Sinan couldn't help but sigh, "We still have a lot of work to do. We're still far from having enough materials. And I heard they said there aren't many materials in the treasure chest either."
Gu Mozhi comforted him, "It's okay, it's only our first day. We'll get better with practice. Let's go to sleep, tomorrow is another day."
Because the interior space was cramped, Fu Sinan pressed himself tightly against the car body so that Gu Mozhi could have more room to move around.
Seeing this, Gu Mozhi quickly said, "Si Nan, you don't need to be so close to the door, come a little closer." As he spoke, he reached out and pulled Fu Si Nan to his side, "We can sleep side by side." Then, he carefully covered Fu Si Nan with a blanket.
Fu Sinan's body suddenly stiffened, as if he had been frozen in place by an invisible force. His heartbeat quickened involuntarily, and an indescribable sense of tension welled up inside him.
He lay there quietly, not daring to make the slightest movement, afraid of attracting the attention of the person beside him. Time passed by, and every second felt incredibly long to Fu Sinan; he could almost hear his own heartbeat.
Finally, when he was sure that no one around him was making any more noise, he breathed a sigh of relief, and his body slowly relaxed. However, although his body was relaxed, his emotions were still somewhat unsettled, as if he had just experienced a thrilling adventure.
After a while, Fu Sinan's eyelids began to grow heavy, and drowsiness gradually crept in. He tried to stay awake, but ultimately could not resist the temptation of sleep, and slowly closed his eyes, drifting off to sleep.
At this moment, Gu Mozhi sensed that Fu Sinan had fallen asleep. He carefully pulled Fu Sinan into his arms, his movements as gentle as if afraid of disturbing a fragile, beautiful dream. And so, the two slept in each other's arms, their breaths mingling, as if the whole world had shrunk to just the two of them.
In the early morning, sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating Gu Mozhi and Fu Sinan's faces. Gu Mozhi slowly opened his eyes, the first thing he saw being Fu Sinan in his arms. A smile unconsciously crept onto his lips, his mood exceptionally pleasant.
Just as he was about to slowly get up so as not to wake Fu Sinan, he suddenly realized that Fu Sinan had also woken up. Fu Sinan's eyes were still a little blurry, as if he had not fully woken up from his sleep.
"Mo Zhi, good morning..." Fu Si Nan's voice was a little muffled, with a hint of languor from just waking up. As he spoke, he subconsciously lowered his head, but accidentally pressed it directly against Gu Mo Zhi's chest.
Fu Sinan's face flushed instantly. He jerked his head up as if electrocuted, only then realizing that he was lying in Gu Mozhi's arms. His heart began to race uncontrollably again, and a strange feeling welled up inside him.
Looking at Fu Sinan's adorable appearance, Gu Mozhi couldn't help but laugh: "Sinan, good morning! How did you sleep last night?"
Fu Sinan's face turned even redder, and he replied somewhat embarrassedly, "Um... I slept quite well."
Gu Mozhi gently stroked Fu Sinan's hair and said tenderly, "That's good. But we need to get up now, get ready, and then go find the suitcase."
Fu Sinan nodded, and the two of them got up and dressed together. Gu Mozhi went to the makeshift place they had set up the day before, cooked four packets of instant noodles in a large pot, added two eggs, and used two bottles of water. This was their simple breakfast.
After packing, the two eagerly embarked on their search for the box. The car slowly drove off, and soon they spotted a goblin standing by the roadside. Seeing this, Gu Mozhi quickly shouted, "Stop the car!"
As soon as the car came to a stop, Gu Mozhi quickly got out and rushed towards the goblin like an arrow. He was agile and quick, and in just a few moves, the goblin was already lying dead on the ground, instantly turning into a wooden box.
Fu Sinan hurriedly stepped forward and opened the box, but nothing special came out. Upon closer inspection, he found some food and water inside: four apples, four bananas, a box of compressed biscuits (20 biscuits per box), and a case of mineral water (12 bottles in total).
Although these items looked ordinary, they were a rare find in this unusual environment. After a short rest, the two continued driving. This time, Gu Mozhi was in charge of driving, while Fu Sinan kept an eye out for any more treasure chests along the roadside and kept a close eye on the chat channel, hoping to glean some useful information or find the items he needed.
Fu Sinan carefully browsed the chat messages and suddenly said, "They all say they are alone, so does that mean there are only two of us?" Gu Mozhi's heart skipped a beat when he heard this, and he replied, "That's possible, but it's best not to reveal this in the chat."
Fu Sinan said to Gu Mozhi, "Let's run a little further and open the boxes at night." Gu Mozhi replied, "Okay, I understand. Let's pick up all the boxes today and open them one by one tonight!"
So the two continued searching for boxes in the area. Around noon, they stopped to cook some spicy hot pot to fill their stomachs. Fu Sinan skillfully set up the pot, added various ingredients, and soon a pot of fragrant spicy hot pot was ready.
The two wolfed down their lunch, rested briefly, and then continued their search for the box.
The day went exceptionally smoothly; they encountered no monsters along the way. After a full day's work, they found a total of 16 chests: 10 wooden chests, 5 silver chests, and 1 precious gold chest.
Upon opening the boxes, they were overjoyed by what they found inside. Besides the usual food and daily necessities, there were some unexpected finds, such as metal materials, rubber, glass, and electronic components.
Fu Sinan carefully checked the items in the box and found 4 packs of rice noodles, 10 steamed buns, 2 packs of noodles (totaling 1000 grams), 10 eggs, 10 potatoes, a set of oil, salt, soy sauce, vinegar and seasoning, a box of lighters (50), a bunch of romaine lettuce, a bunch of lettuce, 2 packs of soybean paste, 6 pairs of socks, 4 packs of mala tang noodles, 4 packs of potato starch noodles, 10 packs of instant noodles, 2 jin of pork belly, 10 jin of wheat flour, a box of blueberries, 150 grams of metal materials, 30 grams of rubber, 20 grams of glass, 5 electronic components, and 150 liters of gasoline.
But inside that golden chest lay something even more precious—blueprints for an oil tank, a kitchen, and a water tank, as well as a Tang dynasty sword. These blueprints were undoubtedly a tremendous treasure to them.
