Chapter 25: Going Home

Chapter 25: Going Home

After a two-second pause, he continued, "I asked you this question more than seven months ago. I'm asking it again now, not because I want you to refuse."

Seeing Su Yan's expression was not right, he pinched Su Yan's waist with a fierce expression and gritted his teeth and said, "If you dare to refuse, I will kill you right now."

Su Yan: ...

If you can't refuse, why ask her?

The child in his arms still didn't make a sound. He Ji waited for two minutes and became really impatient.

He pinched Su Yan's chin, lifted her face up, and stroked her delicate lips with his rough fingers. "Kid, if you don't speak up, I'm really going to hit you."

The hand on her chin slowly exerted force, Su Yan's chin lifted up, and her head was forced to tilt back. Her neck, which was so thin that it seemed like it could be broken with a slight force, was completely exposed under He Ji's eyes.

He Ji chuckled and moved closer, kissing her snow-white neck again and again, which exuded a faint body fragrance.

His breathing gradually became heavy. Su Yan knew that if she didn't speak up, he would really attack her, so she responded angrily and anxiously with "Okay".

She had never seen such a barbaric and domineering man. Not only did he not give flowers to girls when pursuing them, but he also couldn't even say a nice word.

He Ji's goal was to get her to agree, but after Su Yan agreed, he felt that she agreed too quickly, causing him to lose some benefits for no reason.

He stopped, and when he looked up, he felt unwilling, so he lowered his head and sucked hard on Su Yan's neck, leaving a red mark.

Looking at the red mark, he finally felt better.

"Kid, you agreed too quickly. I wanted to kiss you a little longer. Look, you only left a strawberry mark. I'm really not satisfied."

His eyes were dark and seemed to contain a strong sense of aggression. Su Yan's eyes flickered and she turned her head away, not daring to look him in the eye.

He Ji wanted to kiss her again, but looking at the child's appearance, he thought about it and suppressed the impulse.

This is really not a good place. If he gets wild with animal desires while kissing, there will be no end to it.

It’s a child’s first time, and there’s no way it should be done in a place like this.

He took two deep breaths, suppressed his anger a little, hugged her tightly, and patted her back gently, "Close your eyes and rest for a while."

After being bothered by him for so long, Su Yan's heart was beating at a high frequency. She was really tired. She was not sleepy at first, but now her eyelids could not help but twitch up and down.

She grasped the clothes on He Ji's chest with both hands and carefully put her face close to it.

The outer layer of the clothes was cold and hard. When Su Yan got close, her body trembled unconsciously.

He Ji tutted his words, raised his body slightly, pulled open his clothes, revealing the relatively soft short-sleeved shirt underneath, and hugged her again, "Come closer, you little bastard."

His body temperature was very hot, and his broad chest seemed to be steaming. The scent of the opposite sex became stronger when he got closer.

There was only a thin layer of clothes between them, so Su Yan was a little hesitant to get closer.

But He Ji didn't give her a chance to hesitate. He put his big hand on her little head, pressed it gently, and then she pressed tightly against his chest.

The heat continued to come from his body, and Su Yan's face turned red as if it was burned.

Her mind, which had been clear before, was now muddled. With the gentle caress of a big hand on her back, she yawned with her mouth open and slowly fell asleep.

When Su Yan woke up again, it was already dawn. At this moment, she was held in He Ji's arms and walking out along the mountain road.

She squinted her eyes for half a minute, then moved when she was fully awake.

"Put me down now."

She hadn't even said goodbye to the villagers, how could she just leave?

"Don't worry, I've already talked to the village chief and he understands." He Ji said, as if he knew what she was thinking.

His tone was calm, without any of the fierceness that he had used in the morning when he lowered his voice to scold the villagers.

"The village chief said you really like salted duck eggs, and he gave me a bag before he left. If you don't believe me, I'll show it to you right now."

He had said this much, so even if Su Yan had doubts, she had no choice but to believe him.

He Ji let the man go and took out a pancake from his bag. "Eat something first. It was given to you by the villagers."

As soon as the sky was getting light, the villagers came up, and the noisy group almost woke her up.

When he said he wanted to take the child away, they were reluctant, but later, seeing his firm attitude, they had no choice but to give in.

Less than half an hour later, they came back again, bringing with them all kinds of food they had made.

He was too lazy to take so much, so he just took some bread and water and left with the child.

Su Yan still blamed him in her heart for not letting her say goodbye to the villagers, but she couldn't say anything. She could only take the pancake and eat it in silence.

They didn't stop for too long and were about to continue walking after eating, but Su Yan looked embarrassed.

She wanted to walk by herself, but the person in front of her had already opened his hand. It would be fine under normal circumstances, but the mountain road was rugged and she was really afraid that she would fall to the foot of the mountain.

Just as she hesitated, He Ji sighed, turned his back as if in compromise, and squatted in front of her.

"It's okay to carry it on your back."

This child had no confidence in him at all. He didn't take her seriously, just because she was so light and fluttery. How could he possibly let her fall?

"I can walk on my own."

"You can, bullshit! Look at your pants and clothes. Do you look like you can walk properly?"

Su Yan lowered her head, looked at the baggy pants and the coat that covered her knees, and silently swallowed the word "can" back into her stomach.

She slowly bent down and lay on He Ji's back, "If you are tired, remember to put me down."

He Ji: ...

"I'm not tired. After I carry you out, I can still fight you for three hundred rounds."

It took Su Yan two minutes to understand what he meant, and her face suddenly turned red.

Her eyes flashed and she pretended to be asleep and ignored him.

She didn't say anything, so He Ji just concentrated on his journey. He was carrying someone on his back, but he seemed not to feel it. His steps were still steady, as if he was walking on flat ground.

Wanting to get out earlier, He Ji walked faster than when he came in. It took him most of the day to get into the mountain, but it took him an hour less to get out.

He hailed a loaded truck on the highway and paid someone to take them to the county.

He Ji didn't give Su Yan a chance to breathe. After buying her clothes, he directly pulled her onto the bus to the train station.

After rushing for a long time, the two finally caught the last train back to the city.

Although she didn't walk much, Su Yan was still exhausted from the hurried journey. As soon as she got on the train, she fell asleep in He Ji's arms.

After all the running around, He Ji was really tired, but he didn't want to rest at all at this moment. He just wanted to get home quickly and lie in bed with his child.

When it comes to bullying, he definitely has to strike while the iron is hot, otherwise if he gives the child a chance to come to his senses, he might miss the opportunity.
