"The dumplings are ready. There's only one bowl for everyone. If anyone isn't full, they can make some noodles themselves."

When it was Ye Zhiyu's turn, she watched the dumplings go into the pot, plump and floating on the water, they were really quite cute.
After adding water several times, it was finally cooked.
Just as he scooped it out and put it in a bowl, he heard someone outside greeting Lu Chen.
Peeking out, I saw it really was him, still holding a lunchbox in his arms.
"Ye Zhiqing, your Lu Chen brought you dumplings."
They were happy today, and there was nothing untoward between them, so everyone started to cheer them on.
Ye Zhiyu led Lu Chen into the room.
Lu Chen noticed that her hands were always behind her back and asked in confusion, "What's wrong?"
He took the lunchbox out of his pocket, and put it inside his clothes so it wouldn't get cold.
It was a big box of dumplings, each one plump and white, and you could faintly smell their aroma.
Ye Zhiyu was even less inclined to take out her dumplings.
"Um?"
Lu Chen moved closer to her, and Ye Zhiyu's escape route was blocked by the table. Lu Chen leaned down in an embracing posture, his tall figure covering her in his arms, and his large hand reached out to explore.
"No, I won't show you." Ye Zhiyu's voice was soft and gentle.
Lu Chen's hand had already touched the edge of the bowl. Thinking of the strange dumplings he had just seen outside, he guessed.
"Did you make these dumplings?"
Ye Zhiyu nodded awkwardly, "So ugly."
Lu Chen smiled indulgently and took the bowl from behind her.
After looking at it carefully, he said earnestly, "It's very beautiful. Can I eat it?"
Ye Zhiyu saw no sign of lying in his eyes and agreed.
