Ye Zhiyu reassured him, "It's nothing. It's just the illegitimate child that Wenjing mentioned. He didn't do anything to me, but I punched him. I guess it will be more than a week before I can see anyone."
Lu Chen clenched his fists, a ruthless glint flashing in his eyes where Ye Zhiyu couldn't see.
"Okay, I'm glad you're alright. Let's go eat first."
Back to the topic of eating, a gurgling sound rang out again.
It was Ye Zhiyu's. She clutched her stomach and whined, "Achen, I'm so hungry, I could eat a whole cow."
"Really? Let me weigh him. Is my baby so hungry he's practically skin and bones?"
As he spoke, he reached out an arm behind her waist and lifted her up with the other hand.
He grabbed his bicycle and said, "Let's go feed my baby."
"Yay, let's go!"
When she arrived at the cafeteria, she ran into Tang Wenjing, who had come looking for her. Upon seeing her, Tang Wenjing excitedly ran over.
"How could this happen? I was only gone for a short while, how did this happen to you?"
Ye Zhiyu carefully explained the whole story to them.
Tang Wenjing murmured softly, "Oh, I see. No wonder the whole school was buzzing about your wedding after you came out of class."
"Sigh, now that you've gone public, you'll have fewer suitors."
Her tone was full of regret, as if Lu Chen didn't exist, and she completely ignored his face, which was as black as the bottom of a pot.
Ye Zhiyu shrugged and said helplessly, "My marriage is a done deal. The reason people didn't know before was because no one asked me. I can't just shout it out to everyone in the street like a megaphone."
"What do you need peach blossoms for? Haven't you had enough to do today? This is just right, it saves you a lot of trouble."
