On the way back, passing by the village's grocery store, Yun Duoduo bought Yan Dongdong pencils, erasers, and a schoolbag, spending another five yuan.
This casual expense amounts to fifteen yuan; no wonder Ding Meixiang doesn't want Yan Dongdong to go to school—the tuition is indeed expensive.
