His stomach was growling with hunger, and Xiao Shuangbao didn't have time to think about anything else. He picked up the spoon and scooped up the meat in the bowl and started eating it in big mouthfuls.
"Why are you so hungry? Didn't you eat enough last night?" the young boy asked with concern and served her another bowl of soup.
