Chapter 1 First Encounter

Chapter 1 First Encounter

A new chairman took office at Chuangyu Group today. In the name of celebration, a group of senior executives gathered together to chat and laugh. No matter how good their alcohol tolerance was, they could not resist being drunk by more than a dozen people, not to mention being drugged.

Liao Feng went to the bathroom to vomit, and then he realized something was wrong. Normally, no matter how much he drank, he would not have this reaction. He licked his canine teeth and pinched his arm, trying to use the action to drive away the strange feeling in his body, but the heat was not driven away, but became stronger and stronger.

He walked out of the bathroom and prepared to leave, but his body became heavier and heavier, and he bumped into a young man head-on and fell into his arms.

The boy's body obviously stiffened for a moment, but he quickly supported himself. Liao Feng: "Thank you, could you please take me to an empty room?" He endured the heat in his body and managed to speak a complete sentence clearly.

The boy nodded and sent him to an empty room. Instead of leaving immediately, he observed him. The boy felt that the man was a little familiar, as if he was the older brother who saved him ten years ago. That day, he climbed over the wall to skip school but accidentally got hung on the iron railing. It was a boy wearing the uniform of Xingquan University Affiliated Middle School who saved him.

He squatted down and brushed away the loose hair on Liao Feng's forehead, recognizing that this person was his brother. Liao Feng: "Don't touch me, I'm in danger now, you can go out." Liao Feng didn't like his touch, but was greedy for the feeling he brought. However, he still had his rationality and didn't want to harm a young boy who knew nothing.

However, instead of retreating, the boy moved closer. The initial unfamiliarity and hesitation were gone from his clear eyes, replaced by determination.

The young man suddenly opened his arms and, with an almost clumsy yet extremely firm posture, tightly embraced Liao Feng's body, which was trembling slightly due to resistance. His embrace was filled with the unique and irresistible warmth and strength of a young man.

"I know it's you," the young man's voice was low and clear, with a barely perceptible sob, yet it resonated with immense determination in Liao Feng's chaotic mind. "Ten years ago, you saved me. Now... let me help you." He paused, as if gathering his courage, then added, word by word, with unmistakable clarity: "Don't push me away... I'm an adult."

Liao Feng was tempted. After all, the effects of the medicine spread throughout his body, making him feel very uncomfortable. There was a way in front of him that could give him relief. He wanted to give it a try, but his rational defenses did not allow him to do so.

But the moment the boy kissed his Adam's apple, the defenses of reason collapsed, all his thoughts were replaced by desire, and he became the most primitive beast, wanting to conquer the pitiful little deer in front of him.

The next morning, Ruan Xingfeng woke up feeling sore all over. She glanced at the man sleeping beside her and remembered the madness of last night. Her cheeks flushed, and she hurriedly got out of bed, put on her clothes, and left this place of trouble.

After the door was closed, the air was filled with a suffocating smell, and the clothes and sheets on the floor proved it all.

Liao Feng woke up, rubbed his head and looked at the ceiling thinking for a while. He was drunk, went to the bathroom and found that he was drugged, and then ran into the arms of a young man. He didn't remember anything else, and couldn't recall it, but the marks on his body and the clothes on the ground could show what happened. He closed his eyes and hoped that those were all his dreams, and when he woke up again, nothing had happened.

When he opened his eyes again, nothing had changed. He cursed himself for being useless and walked out of the room to check the surveillance to find out who it was, but found that the surveillance footage from last night had been deleted. Liao Feng frowned, lit a cigarette and began to think, but he couldn't figure out anything.

He wanted to continue checking, but received a call from his assistant saying that he had a meeting today, so he left in a hurry.

Seeing her son Ruan Xingfeng limping home, his mother's heart immediately tightened, and she asked hurriedly: "Hey, what happened to your leg?" Ruan Xingfeng turned his face away and responded vaguely: "Mom, don't worry, I had a fight with someone." The mother opened her mouth, but finally swallowed the words back.

This child has been tough since he was young, and it’s not the first time or the second time that he has fought with others. What else can she say except feeling helpless?

Ruan Xingfeng lay on the bed, looking at Liao Feng's high school photo, and thought of her panting on him last night. Her face flushed instantly. Ruan Xingfeng said: "Liao Feng is so handsome!" Then she fell asleep holding the photo.

He woke up at noon with a heavy head and weak body. He took the thermometer from the bedside table and took his fever. Sure enough, he had a fever. It seemed that what was said on the Internet was right. If you don't take safety precautions, you will get sick. He wrapped himself tightly and went to the hospital for an infusion. After a night's sleep, he felt much better. After class, he went to work again.

Ruan Xingfeng was specially called to the VIP box to serve because of his excellent cocktail-mixing skills. Liao Feng was sitting on the carpet, his back leaning casually on the sofa, with a lazy and casual posture.

"Are you new here?" He raised his eyelids and glanced casually at Ruan Xingfeng who was concentrating on making cocktails, with a hint of nonchalant laziness in his voice.

The moment his name was called, Ruan Xingfeng's hands trembled slightly. He nodded subconsciously, his voice soft and low: "I've been here... for a few months."

Liao Feng was obviously in a very good mood today, and he casually threw a thick stack of cash on the table.

Liao Feng was still sitting on the carpet, his fingertips unconsciously stroking the empty wine glass. Suddenly he started chatting: "Nice tuning, did you learn it specifically?"

Ruan Xingfeng was staring at the cash on the bar in a daze. He came back to his senses when he heard the words. His fingertips slid across the cocktail shaker, and he quickly lowered his head and replied, "No." There was still a bit of restraint in his voice, and the ending tone trembled slightly.

Liao Feng said "Oh" and didn't ask any more questions. His eyes fell on the floor-to-ceiling window in the distance, as if he was looking at the night view, but also as if he was not looking at anything. Silence spread in the box.

Ruan Xingfeng's hand, gripping the cupcloth, was sweating, his heart racing. He stole a glance at the figure on the ground. Liao Feng's profile was hard and cold, his jawline sharply drawn. The dim light fell on his eyelashes, casting a small shadow, making him seem less oppressive than before.

"Come often in the future." Liao Feng suddenly spoke, his voice was not loud, but it was clearly heard in the air.

Ruan Xingfeng was so startled that he almost dropped the cup in his hand. The tips of his ears began to burn again: "...Yes, thank you, Mr. Liao."

Liao Feng didn't say anything else, but just raised his hand to loosen his tie, his posture becoming more lazy.

Ruan Xingfeng quickly lowered his head and pretended to concentrate on cleaning the bar, but his heart was beating so fast that it seemed like it was going to break his ribs. He couldn't tell whether this sudden "frequent visit" was because of the alcohol or something else.

After a long while, Liao Feng seemed to finally feel tired and slowly stood up. He picked up his coat from the sofa, turned around and left the box with his assistant. The heavy door closed silently.

Liao Feng has recently taken office and has a lot to do, especially with the Lion Clan, who have repeatedly invited him, ostensibly to reminisce about the past.

Wasn't it really just about taking advantage of him? Trying to rip him off? No way. He looked at the invitation, thinking about all that, and then he tore it up and threw it in the trash. He'd rather go to a nightclub if he had that much time.

In the evening, he dragged Song Xuexi to the nightclub again. Originally in the private room, Liao Feng suddenly remembered the boy from last night. His heart felt itchy as if it was pawed by a cat, so he immediately asked the general manager to call the man over.

Song Xuexi looked at Liao Feng and joked with curiosity: "Wow, have you changed your personality and fallen for the young bartender?" After all, this was the first time that Liao Feng took the initiative to call an ordinary waiter over.

Liao Feng rolled his eyes, but his gaze did not leave the door of the box. He was obviously waiting for Ruan Xingfeng to come in. He casually replied, "He's great at making cocktails. I'll ask him to make some for you when he comes."

After a while, the general manager came in with Ruan Xingfeng. Liao Feng was surprised for a moment, but quickly looked away.

Song Xuexi noticed Liao Feng's look at that moment and raised her eyebrows with interest.

Ruan Xingfeng didn't know what he should do. He was just mixing cocktails at the bar when he was called up for no apparent reason.

Song Xuexi suggested playing cards. Ruan Xingfeng lost the first round without a doubt. He lowered his eyes and waited for what punishment they would say.

Song Xuexi: "Um... since you're a child, I'll keep it simple for your sake. Just call Liao Feng brother three times." As soon as these words came out, Ruan Xingfeng's neck and face flushed, and he looked at Song Xuexi nervously with some disbelief.

Song Xuexi still looked indifferent and secretly glanced at Liao Feng's slightly red lion ears.

Ruan Xingfeng looked at Liao Feng and tried to speak several times, but no sound came out. "Liao...Brother Liao Feng," those four words were too hot to his lips. He cried inside, but he remained calm on the surface. He bit his tongue and called out twice more. Liao Feng's lion ears stood up and trembled slightly, while Song Xuexi applauded and cheered. Liao Feng noticed Ruan Xingfeng's expression, which was about to burst into tears, and frowned. "What a hypocritical and fun-killing child!" He complained and continued to let Song Xuexi shuffle the cards.

Ruan Xingfeng felt like he was being pricked by a needle when he heard his words. He was already nervous and aggrieved, and hearing the person he admired say this about him made him even more uncomfortable. Song Xuexi glared at Liao Feng with a resentful look.

In the next round, Liao Feng lost. Song Xuexi was the winner. She pretended to think for a moment, then excitedly said, "Mr. Liao, give Ruan Xingfeng a kiss to make up for what you said about him." Ruan Xingfeng's heart instantly jumped into his throat, and he felt uneasy.

Liao Feng frowned but didn't say anything. He stood up, walked over to Ruan Xingfeng, bent down and kissed him on the cheek, very lightly and gently. Ruan Xingfeng blushed instantly. After Liao Feng left, he came to his senses and almost stumbled out of the box, not daring to see how others reacted.

Liao Feng and Song Xuexi were the only ones left in the box, and the atmosphere was a bit awkward. Song Xuexi looked at Liao Feng, and her excitement turned into a bit of helplessness.

Ruan Xingfeng felt a little regretful after running out. He didn't know if his behavior would offend Liao Feng, and he didn't dare to think about the consequences of offending Liao Feng. He sat in the corridor, listening to the deafening background music from the first floor, feeling very irritated.

After a while, the door of the box opened and Song Xuexi walked out. She saw Ruan Xingfeng sitting in the corridor and walked over.

Ruan Xingfeng quickly stood up, feeling a little uneasy: "Mr. Song... Mr. Song."

Song Xuexi looked at his nervous expression and sighed, "I came out just to tell you not to take it too seriously. Just now... I was joking too much." She paused, looking at Ruan Xingfeng's still pale face, "Liao Feng is a rude guy with a bad temper, but he's not a petty person. He won't cause you any trouble because of this. Don't worry."

Ruan Xingfeng nodded silently and whispered, "...Thank you, Mr. Song." He didn't dare to look into Song Xuexi's eyes. He only thought in his heart: I hope Liao Feng doesn't pursue it. This job pays the most so far, and he doesn't want to lose it.

As for those crazy dreams he'd ruminated on over and over again in the locker room, in the corner of the bar, beneath the psychedelic lights? A barely perceptible sneer crossed his lips.

He had heard too many whispers about how to win Liao Feng's attention and how to rise to fame overnight. Maybe others could give it a try, but he couldn't. He didn't dare to take the risk.

Song Xuexi returned to the private room, where Liao Feng was drinking with a frown on his face. "How is he?" Liao Feng said in a muffled voice without looking up.

"I was really scared by you, and I was afraid you would blame me." Song Xuexi said unhappily, "I say, is it really that serious? You are so mean to a little kid."

Liao Feng tugged at his tie irritably, but remained silent. He didn't know why he was so irritated just now. Seeing the child about to cry, he felt inexplicably choked up, and his words became distorted.

Liao Feng played until the early morning today before leaving with Song Xuexi.

Liao Feng sat alone in the car, not quite understanding why he had a strange feeling towards Ruan Xingfeng.

He was not such a person, but he couldn't help but feel upset when he saw the sad emotion in that person's beautiful eyes.

He liked beautiful eyes, and the first thing he looked at when he saw someone was the eyes. The boy's eyes were clear and beautiful, but also carried a silent sadness.

He couldn't help but take a second look, but his instinct wouldn't allow it. He was used to treating others as superiors and couldn't learn to comfort a small animal that was frightened by him. Those things were very troublesome and not in line with his personality and status.
