For many things, under normal circumstances, Yin Zhu's advice to others is "don't do that".
But when it came to Yin Zhu herself, she immediately went and did it.
Just like now, Yin Zhu knows that she is actually secretly cultivating the Mirror Ghost, but she doesn't feel that there is anything wrong with doing so. On the contrary, Yin Zhu is happy to see what terrible consequences this will eventually cause.
However, if it were any other chosen one, Yin Zhu would think that such a thing was too dangerous.
Because Yin Zhu has sufficient control over the changes in the mirror spirit, and knows how to deal with it when it looks, but she can't say whether others can do the same, so she doesn't recommend it.
Yin Zhu knew from the beginning that the Haha Mirror House would enhance the power of the Mirror Ghost, and that the Mirror Ghost was terrified of amusement parks.
Fear stems from the unknown danger.
The Mirror Demon is bound by the rules of Sin City and is powerless against its master. So, if Yin Zhu provided it with an environment where it could grow stronger, would it do something to the Daydream Amusement Park?
Of course, if the mirror trick fails, Yin Zhu will also be a little sad, after all, they have spent so much time together and there are bound to be some feelings between them.
Given this environment, where genuine feelings were scarce and calculations were abundant, Yin Zhu realized that despite providing such a favorable environment for the Mirror Ghost, it had not shown itself, and she began to have a general idea of what was going on.
As Yin Zhu casually glanced at the various mirrors along the road, she listened to the chaotic noises of the other tourists around her. Most of them were talking to themselves, while a few were terrified, seemingly like Yin Zhu, not fooled by the funhouse mirrors, and therefore particularly afraid of the strange behavior of those around them.
Sometimes, living consciously is more painful.
Just as Yin Zhu was turning the corner for what felt like the umpteenth time, a man suddenly lunged at her.
Yin Zhu was startled and instinctively covered her head and crouched down in defense.
The two were already of different heights, and the man, in a leap, managed to jump over Yin Zhu's head, roll a few times on the ground, and crash into the funhouse mirror behind Yin Zhu.
With a loud thud, a funhouse mirror was knocked to the ground, shattering into countless fragments that reflected the distorted images of men.
The man stared blankly at the shattered mirror, then suddenly clutched his head in agony and screamed:
"Aa ...
Before Yin Zhu's eyes, the living man shattered in an instant, just like the shards of glass from before, and the blood inside his body exploded at the same time, splattering onto the surrounding mirrors.
"How tragic." Although she knew that these people were most likely NPCs placed in the environment by Daydream Amusement Park, Yin Zhu still felt a visual shock. The bloody smell hit her sense of smell directly, and the shock to her heart was even greater, making her unable to bear looking at it and looking away.
Click.
The two mirrors seemed to have been moved by a mechanism, and a worker dressed in blue emerged from behind the mirrors, holding tools in his hand.
"I'm so sorry, I startled you."
The staff said those words, but their tone showed absolutely no remorse; they were just reciting lines.
He quickly cleaned the stains off the mirror and left the spot. The mirror returned to its original position, and only the blank panel confirmed that something seemed to have happened.
Shrugging, Yin Zhu didn't take this little incident to heart at all.
After walking a few more steps, Yin Zhu suddenly noticed that her reflection in the mirror seemed a bit off. Apart from the mirror facing her directly, all the other funhouse mirrors seemed to show her with her back to the mirror.
Normally, even if you don't see yourself in a funhouse mirror, you should be looking at the side; it's impossible for all of them to show you with your back to the mirror.
This is simply too counterintuitive.
Yin Zhu walked tentatively for a while longer, then suddenly turned around and found that her own reflection was in every mirror she had passed, and that her image hadn't disappeared even after she left.
As if seeing Yin Zhu turn around, the reflections of Yin Zhu in the mirrors also turned around in unison.
Their eyes lacked human pupils, being entirely black without any luster, and they stared blankly at Yin Zhu. Despite looking identical, the audience could immediately tell—they were not Yin Zhu!
"It's finally haunted! I knew there was something wrong with the funhouse mirror!"
"Don't you guys think this scene looks familiar?"
"I can't watch anymore, I'll come back in a few minutes!"
"By the way, did you guys forget something?"
To be fair, the scene was indeed quite frightening, but Yin Zhu nodded in satisfaction: "You've finally arrived."
However, those figures just stared at Yin Zhu without moving.
Yin Zhu crossed her arms and sneered: "Stop pretending. Your rules and the rules of the Mirror Room are completely different. They take the assimilation route, while you take the psychological fear route."
Although they remained motionless, Yin Zhu sensed a hint of embarrassment from those faces that looked exactly like hers.
"That's enough. You've been with me for so long, shouldn't you know better than anyone that I'm not afraid? Even if you strangle me right here, I'll just laugh."
Yin Zhu reviewed the previous events with the help of the mirror.
She was afraid, but as long as Yin Zhu didn't show it, people who didn't know her wouldn't know she was scared.
Moreover, Yin Zhu's fear is different from that of ordinary people. If she senses that she may be threatened, Yin Zhu will indeed be a little scared, but if she feels that the threat is so great that she has nowhere to escape, she will definitely not be scared.
