Everything that happened on the carousel was seen by everyone in the live broadcast room, but unlike Yin Zhu who was actually there, many of the viewers' feelings were not transmitted to Blue Star through the screen, so they were not as sensitive as Yin Zhu.
The live stream chat exploded the moment Yin Zhu started taking photos:
"The scene in this photo is terrifying! This isn't a carousel, it's a man-eating carousel!"
"Doesn't Daydream Amusement Park have any safer rides?"
"I think that funhouse mirror booth was pretty safe. At most, your body would be twisted and deformed, but you wouldn't die. This carousel is obviously a dangerous facility that could kill people."
"My cabinet has been moved, I'm not looking at it anymore!!!"
"I feel so sorry for this couple~"
"How will Yin Zhu handle this? Can anyone guess the rules?"
"I remember that you could only hear the rules broadcast inside the funhouse mirror, so guessing now is pointless."
"I bet liquid will appear on the carousel in a little while and stick people to it, and someone will have to pull them out."
As the carousel's announcement began, professionals in the live stream were already typing out the rules in real time in the chat. These rules were then set as prominent comments at the top of the screen by the moderators and remained there for 5 minutes, making it easy for all viewers to see.
"The housing authorities have finally done something good."
"Heh, the moderators usually ban accounts and silence users. This time they were just doing something decent, and you're all so grateful. That's servility!"
"Expert, please analyze this quickly!"
"I understand. Once you're up there, don't leave your seat, don't chat with anyone, and cover your ears so you don't hear anything."
"You know it now?"
"I think this rule is like 'Do not speak, do not listen, do not see, do not move'."
"Should we use religious ideas to solve this?"
"Probably not? The previous ones were all about family and ethics. If an amusement park has to involve religion, that would be a challenge for 80% of the chosen ones."
"Be bold, 90%. Some religions aren't popular to begin with, so who would bother to learn about them?"
When the carousel accelerated, some tourists were thrown off their seats, and the live stream suddenly started broadcasting content that was restricted to adults (18+). The official account even started blurring the images on the screen to prevent minors watching the live stream from being misled.
Aside from a few timid comments, it's hard for most viewers not to be drawn to the mosaic:
"What's the point of censoring this? I've seen far more gory things."
Look at the bottom left corner.
"To avoid upsetting minors? If you ask me, minors shouldn't watch ghost story live streams at all! It's not like those little brats are the ones who get hurt by these unspeakable things anyway, so why should they watch them?"
“I’m ten years old and I’ve been playing CrossFire since I was a child. I’m not afraid of gore at all in these kinds of scenes. There’s no need for the government to censor them.”
"I've been playing CrossFire since I was nine years old, and I'm not afraid!"
"I'm only six years old. I've even seen 'Silent Hill'! The kind of scenes in live streams these days aren't scary at all!"
"I'm also nine years old. Is that XX Elementary School up ahead?"
"I also went to xx Elementary School!"
Unexpectedly, this sparked a huge controversy. Many viewers in the live stream claimed to be minors and started asking each other if they were related. Their immature thinking, naive language, and complete lack of awareness about their own information fully demonstrate how widespread internet access has become in China, to the point that even a bunch of immature kids can surf the internet.
This unexpected turn of events, after a brief moment of shock, allowed adults to regain control of the mainstream chat in the live stream:
"Wow, are there really minors in the live stream?"
"Seriously, aren't minors supposed to be in school today? It's not school dismissal time yet, is it?"
"Hey, today is Sunday, school's closed."
"No wonder there were so many outrageous comments in the live stream. It turns out there are really so many amazing elementary school students in the Chinese live stream."
"Could the school give the children more homework?"
"Many of us elementary school students are smart too. If you don't believe me, you adults can compare with us!"
"What kind of elementary school student is this?"
"System Announcement: User 'Li Jia San Shao's Novel Fan' has been banned by the administrator. Reason: Insults and incitement."
"...The last time I saw someone get banned for swearing was the last time."
"Banning profanity in the live stream, learn your lesson!"
"Stop arguing in the chat (ノДT) You guys should focus on the live stream! Yin Zhu is in danger!"
"Are the moderators this fast?"
"Bullshit, that guy didn't use homophones and directly triggered the live stream's censorship mechanism. Of course, it's faster for a machine to ban an account than for a real person. All the government knows is writing programs to control the people."
"Banning profanity helps purify the livestreaming room and supports the country's just rulings!"
"I'll swear, okay?!"
"Aaaaaah!!!! Another person got swallowed by the seat!!!!! Yin Zhu, hold on!!!!!"
Your exclamation mark is hurting my eyes.
"Why is Yin Zhu alright? Did she use her talent? Or is it possible to use cheat codes in the world of supernatural tales?"
"Sister Sun: I am the queen, my confidence shines."
Amidst the chaos, Yin Zhu's act of closing her eyes didn't even attract much attention from the live stream chat. A group of people continued to attack each other on the issue of whether minors should watch live streams, while also criticizing the live stream's mechanics.
Finally, the carousel began to slow down.
Yin Zhu felt that she was almost through the ordeal and could see the light at the end of the tunnel. As long as the carousel ended, she could return to the ground with peace of mind.
