"You didn't say anything?"
Yin Zhu was initially caught in a brief period of self-doubt and confusion, but quickly guessed the reason.
It's nothing more than a product of bizarre rules.
Rubbing her lower back, Yin Zhu genuinely suspected that if the carousel ride lasted any longer, her back would really be ruined.
"Is the carousel safe enough?" Jing Gui asked Yin Zhu tentatively. "As long as you close your eyes and hold on, there won't be any accidents. You did a good job with that. As for the physical discomfort... cough, it's just a moderate ordeal."
"It's actually quite safe." Yin Zhu limped to the edge of the flower bed, plopped down, and felt a sharp pain instantly spread from the flower bed into her body, causing her to suddenly stand up again.
"Never mind, I'll just stand here for now."
The Daydream Amusement Park was bustling with people and filled with noise. Every now and then, deformed people would walk past Yin Zhu. They were obviously tourists who had been to the Funhouse Mirrors. Each of them had a smile on their face and seemed to be having a lot of fun.
Only Yin Zhu was there, looking worried and her eyes darting around.
Finally, Yin Zhu's eyes found a map sign for an amusement park, which showed the entire Daydream Amusement Park.
Yin Zhu walked stiffly over, took out her phone, and prepared to take a picture to commemorate the moment.
"There's nothing wrong with that map."
Jing Gui merely glanced at it casually, showing no interest in the large signboard.
"It's good that there are no problems, it will make it easier for me to find my way."
After taking the photos, Yin Zhu habitually opened her photo album, only to find that the map on the display board was different from the one in the photos on her phone.
After carefully comparing the photos and signs, Yin Zhu roughly determined the reason: the map in her phone's album was of the nighttime amusement facilities, while what she was seeing in person was a map of the daytime facilities, hence the discrepancy.
Depending on the differences between the two, Yin Zhu, who is in the daytime session, also needs to readjust her plans.
The background of the photo is very dark, and you can even see the sinful clouds in the sky. The map in the photo does not show the funhouse, which proves that the world in the photo is a night scene, or rather, reality.
What attraction should we visit next?
Mirror Ghost is really looking forward to it.
"Shall we go eat? I'm a little hungry and don't want to play anymore..." Yin Zhu looked troubled, almost saying, "I'm going to starve to death if we don't eat soon."
Jing Gui suppressed his anger: "Come here, I'll give you a buff."
"I'm really hungry..."
"Eat, eat, eat! All you ever think about is eating!" Jing Gui scolded, exasperated. "You still have four stamps to get. Even though the day session ends at 6 PM, you could have run another project in the time it takes to have lunch! If you finish getting the stamps sooner, you'll have an easier time!"
Yin Zhu wasn't listening at all; instead, she started thinking seriously: "...Speaking of which, does an outdoor performance count as a project?"
“Probably… I guess so.” Jing Gui wasn’t quite sure. “This one probably isn’t dangerous. Take me to see it.” Yin Zhu nodded and pointed to the daytime performance map in front of her, to a place called “It” marked with a performance symbol.
This place is only about 200 meters away from the current location of the carousel.
The two, one human and one ghost, chatted and walked, and in just a few minutes they arrived at the small square where the performance was about to take place.
Although the actors hadn't arrived yet, Yin Zhu looked around and saw that the tourists were already in place. The small square was surrounded by a group of tourists, forming a circle, with the empty space in the middle perfectly suited as a stage for the performance.
How did they know the actors were going to perform here?
A question flashed through Yin Zhu's mind.
A whimsical melody drifted on the wind, and everyone looked to see an actor dressed as a clown, carrying a speaker in his right hand, struggling to push his way through the crowd to the performance area in the center. Whenever someone looked at him, he flashed a wide, exaggerated smile and made exaggerated gestures.
When they finally arrived at the performance venue, the clown's clothes were all jumbled up and his wig was crooked, making him look quite comical.
He first straightened his clothes, then held the microphone and gave everyone a warm smile:
"Good morning, everyone! Handsome guys and beautiful ladies!"
"good!"
The surrounding audience was very supportive.
Yin Zhu stood in the crowd, not squeezing into the front row, but was still infected by the atmosphere around her and began to look forward to the performance.
"I am a clown, and I don't remember my name, so you can call me—the clown!"
The clown's ramblings made many people laugh.
"Today I'm going to perform—singing!"
The clown's performance consisted of nothing more than loud singing, which was unoriginal. So, spurred on by the tourists, he sang one song after another.
Fearing that she might appear too aloof and fail to integrate into the environment of Sin City, Yin Zhu also joined in the cheering and applause.
His voice was probably a little hoarse from singing, and after singing countless songs, the clown suddenly sat down on the ground, completely disregarding his image: "I'm so tired, so tired, I don't want to perform anymore!"
He always pauses before the last few words when he speaks; I wonder if it's part of his performance.
The onlookers began to boo him in unison.
"Okay, then I'll perform one more time—the last one!"
"good--!"
The audience's support was even more enthusiastic.
The clown looked around at the tourists who had surrounded him in three or four circles, then suddenly pointed in one direction: "Beautiful lady, why don't you cooperate with my performance? Let's do a duo performance!"
