It's clearly an illusion, yet it allows for such a clear sense of contact with humans. It's so realistic, much better than the Mirror Ghost... Yin Zhu felt that this was almost the same as the Unspeakable, and while praising one and criticizing the other, she expressed her disdain for the Mirror Ghost.
Upon seeing Yin Zhu, Bobo seemed to have found his anchor, and suddenly stood up and ran behind Yin Zhu.
Only then did Yin Zhu get a clear look at the bob-haired lady's condition. She was probably jostled so badly that her clothes were disheveled, her makeup was ruined by tears, her original shoes were gone, and her socks were worn with holes... What kind of miserable "play experience" had she just had?
Yin Zhu only experienced a merry-go-round that was uncomfortable on her bottom; this older sister probably went straight to try some more thrilling rides.
The clown showed no sign of surprise at the bob-haired man's behavior. He simply took a knife from his toolbox, a chilling smile on his face, and walked step by step toward Yin Zhu, brandishing the knife: "Next, I'll chase you. You—run!"
"Wait a moment."
Yin Zhu interrupted him, taking out her sign-in card: "Will you stamp this project for me?"
"Huh?" The clown was taken aback.
“If it’s not stamped, it’s not a project. I’m leaving then.” Yin Zhuyi said sternly. “I have other projects to work on, don’t waste my time.”
The bob-haired girl stared at Yin Zhu with a frantic expression that seemed to say, "Are you crazy?" However, because she was behind Yin Zhu, she naturally didn't see the golden light flickering in Yin Zhu's eyes, as if she were writing something.
The clown finally understood what Yin Zhu meant, and helplessly tucked the knife under his arm and rummaged through his pocket for his seal.
Yin Zhu stepped forward and pulled the knife out of his armpit: "What you're doing is very dangerous. What if you stab yourself? Didn't the park train you on safety procedures? Are you an intern? You're so unprofessional."
After receiving Yin Zhu's sign-in card, the clown printed one for Yin Zhu and another for the bob-haired lady.
Thus, the farce came to an end.
Yin Zhu had no intention of keeping the knife; she handed the tip of the knife to the clown and said, "Here's your knife back."
"Are you crazy?" Bob-haired man couldn't hold back any longer and tried to stop Yin Zhu: "You actually gave a knife to the clown? Do you know he's going to kill us next? Have you even seen 'It's the Circus'?"
"What is that?" How could Yin Zhu have watched a TV series about another world?
The clown grinned as he took the knife, then gestured at the two men, repeating his earlier lines: "Next, I'll chase you, you—run!"
Without giving Bob the time to explain the movie, Yin Zhu interrupted the Joker again: "Wait a minute, I have another question."
"you--!"
The clown had initially developed a slight liking for Yin Zhu because of her act of returning the knife, but now that he had been interrupted, he was getting impatient.
What annoyed him most was that a voice inside him wouldn't allow him to launch a surprise attack.
Yin Zhu took out the admission ticket, looked down and flipped it over, then looked up at the clown: "Does your performance require physical contact with the audience?"
"Of course—it's necessary!"
The clown nodded: "If there's no physical contact, how can he kill someone from a distance?"
“So…” Yin Zhu looked at the clown’s slightly thinner build than the average person, “Then can I hit you too?” Unless the clown was born with superhuman strength, Yin Zhu felt that the two of them, the bob-headed man and the clown, could subdue him.
"No!" The clown wished his colorful wig wasn't real, otherwise everyone would have seen his hair standing on end.
"This isn't fair..." Yin Zhu muttered to herself.
Suddenly, the clown felt a lightness in his body, and the previous obstacles vanished without a trace. He seized the opportunity and leaped towards Yin Zhu, shouting, "I'm here!"
"ah--"
Bob's legs were sore and weak, and he was now making the squeaking sound of a groundhog.
Yin Zhu couldn't abandon her, so he tried his best to pull her away, and the two of them dodged the clown's first attack together.
Patting her clothes, Yin Zhu was a little confused.
How could someone as timid as Bob Hairman possibly be allowed to come to Sin City? Even those who seem "weak" like Peach and Green Bean are actually incredibly ruthless inside, despite their cowardly appearance.
Putting everything else aside, Yin Zhu firmly believes that if Yu Taozi were facing the clown right now, she would definitely be the kind of girl who, while trembling, snatches the knife from the other party and quickly and frantically attacks the clown.
Yu Taozi, who was having lunch at kindergarten, suddenly sneezed.
Yin Zhu is not good at fighting.
Before being chosen by the world of rules, she was just a shut-in who worked in the office or at home every day, and her biggest exercise was probably going to and from get off work.
No matter how long this "performance" takes, Yin Zhu has no intention of engaging in a protracted battle with this clown.
She was too tired to continue the chase.
As the clown approached step by step, Yin Zhu did not dodge this time. She just stared at him intently, trying to figure out how to avoid getting into trouble.
What Yin Zhu was thinking was unknown to the bob-haired lady.
But the bob-haired woman suddenly grabbed Yin Zhu's arm, pulled Yin Zhu stumble and dragged him in front of her, making Yin Zhu an obstacle between herself and the clown.
"I'm so sorry, I ...!"
She screamed with her eyes closed, making Yin Zhu's ears hurt. Seeing the clown walking towards her step by step gave her an even bigger headache.
She shook off the bob-haired man's hand and walked straight toward the clown.
"Aren't you going to run away, little kitty?"
The clown's smiling face was large, but upon closer inspection, it became clear that he wasn't actually smiling; it was a fake smile created entirely by facial makeup. His blue eyes revealed greed and ferocity, as if he wanted to tear Yin Zhu in front of him to shreds.
He raised his knife and slashed fiercely at Yin Zhu's chest.
"I'm not a kitten... Ugh!" Yin Zhu blocked the knife to her chest with her left arm. The sharp weapon cut through her flesh, causing intense pain, but Yin Zhu only groaned and then began to try to snatch the knife with her right hand: "I like tigers."
The clown ignored Yin Zhu's desperate struggle and tried to pry her hand off with his other hand.
Yin Zhu's hand gesture was merely a feint; instead, she raised her leg and kicked directly between the clown's legs, causing the clown to shudder and stammer, "You! Ouch—you—"
"What are you doing!"
A clear and magnetic male voice came through.
As if a way out had been found, the clown quickly pushed Yin Zhu aside and ran away with his things.
The crowd automatically made way for the clown, then, as if waking from a dream, looked around in confusion before moving on to the next attraction.
After confirming that the clown had left, Yin Zhu noticed that the man had walked up to her. The man was wearing a blue staff uniform, but lacked the distinctive employee badge found at Daydream Amusement Park.
