"It's not up to them to decide."
"It's not up to them to decide."
The two said the words almost at the same time, then smiled at each other, which slightly changed Hirano San's attitude towards Yin Zhu.
"Yes, but what can they do to me?" Hirano San was much more relaxed, and she raised her head slightly, revealing a hint of arrogance.
There is no doubt that Hirano San is very confident in her influence.
"So you hate the land of cherry blossoms, hate everything about it, and when the unspeakable olive branch is extended, you don't hesitate to grasp it directly."
Yin Zhu calmly described her guess.
"So what?" Hirano San's eyes crinkled into crescent moons with laughter. "You're not trying to persuade me to be patriotic, are you? Are all you Chinese people this bored? Or do you want me to immigrate to China? Even if Japan agrees, I've said I won't allow such an illegal operation."
"No, I want to ask, what has the Dragon Kingdom done to wrong you?" Yin Zhu's tone became serious.
Hirano San was momentarily stunned by these words.
She quickly chuckled and said, "The Dragon Kingdom has not wronged me, but when I encountered all sorts of painful experiences in the Sakura Kingdom, when I tried to integrate into the group to avoid being bullied, when I desperately escaped after being kidnapped... no one could help me. Now that I have survived and gained power, you want to persuade me to do good? Isn't this too late?"
"That's why I think, if you have a grudge against Japan, why don't you just betray Japan directly? Why drag the whole planet into this? Do you trust the Unspeakable so much?"
"If you don't believe in Him, are you going to believe in you people on the other side of the sea?"
"Fine, then believe in Him. When Blue Star is destroyed, won't you die with it? How much is your trust worth? You're just being used." Yin Zhu said sarcastically.
Hirano San scoffed at her words: "You sent me to China just to tell me this?"
"Oh, right." Yin Zhu slapped her forehead, abruptly changing the subject. She seemed to remember something she had forgotten for a long time: "In the last dungeon, you cleared it perfectly, right? Do you remember what the ending was?"
The normal ending of the Sin City instance is to defeat the city lord and liberate Sin City.
Then, without the protection of the Cloud of Sin, the Unspeakable conquered Dawn Star. At that moment, a dazzling, eye-like behemoth appeared above the clouds, its radiance dyeing the clouds a warm, luxurious gold, and it stared intently at the City of Sin beneath the Cloud of Sin.
This is the scene Yin Zhu saw before she was teleported.
These are all ordinary endings. What is a perfect ending?
With these questions in mind, this was the initial reason why Yin Zhu wanted to see Hirano Shan. However, the training time was too long and the intensity was too great, causing Yin Zhu to completely forget about it. During that period, Yin Zhu's mind was filled with thoughts like "I should find a chance to slack off" and "I'm so tired, let me rest."
The think tank stopped their special training the day before they were supposed to meet Hirano San, giving the aching Yin Zhu a chance to watch Hirano San's walkthrough video.
The video was even longer than Yin Zhu's, but the content was even more boring. It only became interesting with the unusual ending.
Hirano San treated everyone with courtesy, guiding them toward goodness. When she finally met the lord of the castle, she suggested "replacing the cloud of sin with the cloud of goodness".
So, the dark clouds in the sky changed from black to pink mixed with gold, and Sin City was renamed Love City. Sin City was saved, and the Cloud of Sin was resolved. It was a happy ending that made every native happy. Although it was so wonderful that it was almost idiotic, it was still judged as a perfect ending.
In other words, a perfect ending represents a non-existent "if" scenario.
How to ensure that the planet is completely controlled by the Unspeakable while achieving the normal ending is the "perfect" outcome in the Unspeakable's mind.
Just like in the "Green House" instance, escaping the city is just a normal ending, but eliminating the source of "green" is the perfect ending; while in the "Grand Theft Auto" instance, it's the other way around. Eliminating the city lord will only allow the Unspeakable to completely control Dawn Star, so it's a normal ending; to achieve the perfect ending, everyone needs to work together and replace the meaning of "sin" in Grand Theft Auto with love or other beautiful things.
The cloud of sin will lead humanity astray, but the cloud of goodwill can protect humanity.
It sounds wonderful, but Dawn Star no longer has the chance to reach the "perfect ending." It has become a new toy in the hands of the Unspeakable, and in the future, it will only repeat the process of being saved or destroyed again and again.
When Sin City "had" the opportunity to choose again, it had already lost all its cards.
Only in dungeons will the same storyline repeat itself.
Yin Zhu's question was simply to get Hirano Shan to say "I know" so that she could take control of the conversation and start a new topic.
Once someone else takes control of the pace, it becomes extremely easy to be led by the nose.
These were all subconscious actions of Yin Zhu, used without even thinking, so Hirano Shan naturally didn't see the deeper meaning, only wondering: "So what if you know?"
"Besides your talent, there must have been some unspeakable cheating involved in your successful completion of the game, right? How did He give you the cheat sheet?"
This was a question that Yin Zhu genuinely asked.
In Yin Zhu's perception, that eye was not entirely a concrete object, but more of a symbol, similar to a mirage. It should be a kind of mental illusion that gave people a strong sense of fear.
