Chapter 22 Everyone here must die

The chosen ones from various countries remained unharmed until the bus arrived at its destination, much to the relief of many advisors.

As for those who are still worried, they are naturally those countries that saw their chosen ones agree to the indigenous people's request to live together, fearing that their chosen ones will be mysteriously taken away and then seamlessly replaced by a new chosen one with no experience.

After everyone got off the car one after another, the driver stepped on the gas without expression and drove straight to the gas station, leaving a trail of exhaust fumes behind.

Yin Zhu had been paying attention to her surroundings and vaguely remembered that the station stopped shortly after entering Sin City. However, after getting off the train, she suddenly forgot how to leave, as if the way she had come was just a dream.

The past cannot be recalled, but the road ahead must still be traveled.

So here's the question: when you arrive in a new city where you know no one, how can you quickly find places that can help you?

Yin Zhu chose to go with the main group.

There were also many people talking in the crowd. The woman who had chatted with Yin Zhu earlier was now standing next to another girl who seemed a little timid. Although Yin Zhu didn't recognize the girl's clothes, judging from the style, they seemed to be the uniform of a middle school in this world.

Why would a student need to come to Sin City?

Surprised, Yin Zhu subconsciously moved a little further away from them, simply following them at a leisurely pace within the crowd.

After getting off the train, only a few people seemed to have a specific purpose and left the station directly; everyone else walked in the same direction. Yin Zhu noticed that the person walking at the front of the crowd seemed to be a man, wearing gold-rimmed glasses and a suit, who gave off a "refined scoundrel" vibe at first glance.

The group soon arrived at an office building. Perhaps because the city seemed lifeless even during the day, this place was brightly lit.

Upon entering the office, Yin Zhu finally saw the staff. A man dressed like a gang leader greeted her: "Fill out the forms first, then go to each room to register. Once you're registered, you'll become a new citizen of Sin City."

He distributed the forms to everyone, then walked back to the door of the room, seemingly standing guard.

"Please fill in your information honestly. The supervisor will naturally be able to tell whether what you wrote is true or not." The leader said calmly. He and the previous staff members stood on either side of the door, like two gatekeepers.

Hmm, could it be that all the residents of Sin City were tricked into coming here?

Yin Zhu thought to herself, a little puzzled, and glanced down at the questions on the form: ...She probably wasn't tricked into coming here.

This form doesn't use the usual "name" field; instead, it asks for a "code." While it does include fields for "gender," "age," and "ethnicity," the most eye-catching section is undoubtedly the last one—

"What crime did you commit?"

Yin Zhu opened her eyes wide and almost cursed out: How would I know what crimes this body has committed?

Calm down, calm down.

This form is probably not asking about the original owner's crimes, but rather what the chosen one has done.

At this moment, a man with an upright face quickly filled out the form, and after writing "None" in the end, he entered the room and then remained silent, seemingly having passed the test smoothly.

As if on cue, others quickly found places to fill out their forms. There weren't many tables in the room, but there were enough pens, and many people pressed their papers against the wall and began writing.

Seeing that everyone else had started, Yin Zhu's mind raced as she tried to recall all the despicable things she had done in her life.

She always considered herself a "law-abiding good citizen" and indeed hadn't committed any serious crimes, but writing "none" would be too disrespectful, so she racked her brains and wrote down all her pranks.

Moreover, he wrote more than half a page, which made others who had finished writing unable to resist glancing at him.

However, Yin Zhu took her forms very seriously to prevent others from copying them, so she had no idea what kind of villain she was being portrayed as in other people's eyes at this moment.

After finishing writing her own, Yin Zhu realized that half of the people in the room were gone, and some others were still struggling with something, with only a few words left on their papers.

Finally, a man seemed to make up his mind, wrote something down, and then took the form and went into the room.

At first, there was silence, then a scream like a pig being slaughtered came from inside the room. The screams startled the others who hadn't finished filling out their forms. They looked up and saw a small amount of blood seeping from under the door, starkly contrasting with the clean white tile floor and adding to the horror.

Noticing the gazes of the crowd, the man in the suit at the door smiled slightly, put his index finger to his lips as a shushing gesture: "Don't try to deceive the supervisor."

This act of making an example of someone undoubtedly frightened the others. Yin Zhu clearly saw several people hurriedly cross out what they had written on their papers and rewrite something new. Because one of them was closer to Yin Zhu, she could clearly see what the other person had written.

— Torturing animals, filming them, then rewinding the footage to disguise it as animal rescue videos to scam money.

Yin Zhu calmly shifted her gaze back to her form.

Having already suspected something when he saw the question, Yin Zhu was now almost certain that 99% of the people who came to Sin City probably had committed various crimes, and most likely, there was no limit to how serious they were, to the point that they would find it difficult to survive outside, which is why they were attracted to this city of sin.

In other words, everyone here.

They all deserve to die.

Yin Zhu took her form and walked towards the office responsible for processing the procedures, glancing at the forms of the people around her out of the corner of her eye.
