“You little demons who have just arrived in the demon realm are the sweet treats that the fierce big demons love to eat.”
The cat walked ahead again, instructing Liam with its mouth.
"This is absolutely terrifying!"
Liam seems to have some misunderstandings about women. When he acts like a little girl, he always comes across as a bit coquettish, making the cat want to cover his mouth again.
The cat sighed again: "Since you live with me, I have an obligation to tell you these common-sense facts about the ghost world. I don't know and don't care what you were like before, but if you want to survive here, you have to remember these things."
At this point, she suddenly stopped.
Liam didn't react in time, and only managed to lift the lantern to the side, before crashing into the cat's furry butt.
Liam quickly pulled himself out and cautiously peered ahead.
It was an unlit intersection, and a slender figure stood vaguely in the darkness. Since the cat hadn't spoken, Liam didn't dare say anything, holding his breath as he stood behind her.
The figure seemed to have noticed Liam as well.
"Is this a new kid? I don't think I've seen him before." The figure seemed to belong to a woman, and a very beautiful one at that.
Listening to her overly pleasant voice, Liam's mind wandered.
“Yes, I’m taking her to see Lady Aoandon,” the cat replied obediently. “I didn’t know you were going there…”
"I was just wandering around."
The figure smiled, letting out a silvery laugh, and then left in a certain direction.
It was then that Liam noticed some red flowers growing on both sides of the road. Their petals were long and curved, like intense, passionate souls dancing and making silent cries.
Were these things there just now?
Liam was puzzled and wanted to go over to take a look, but the cat grabbed him again: "What are you doing?"
"That flower..."
"That's a spider lily, it only blooms where death energy is abundant." The cat glanced at the little girl who was behaving strangely. "Don't touch it. Although that thing is very attractive to you, it may not actually be good for your health."
Liam snapped out of his daze and quickly took a few steps back.
He didn't know why he suddenly wanted to touch the flower, and even felt that the petals were like blood, and wanted to go over and pick the flower and put it in his mouth.
