The rule against talking really stifled Yin Zhu, and it also kept the entire Dajiangshan Royal Palace quiet most of the time. None of her roommates said a word, relying solely on eye contact to understand each other. Unfortunately, Yin Zhu couldn't understand their eyes at all, and she pulled out several strands of hair, but there was nothing she could do.
Since there's nothing to do, I can only sleep.
Lying in bed staring at the ceiling, Yin Zhu began to think about how to clear this dungeon.
Clearly, the instance is very direct from the start, using the amnesiac version of Shuten-dōji's diary to tell the Chosen One that they need to find a way to return to the human world. So, all the Chosen One needs to do next is find a way to return to the human world.
However, even if the chosen one knew that Shuten-dōji was the owner of the diary, and used Shuten-dōji's original method to reincarnate back to the human world, it would probably only result in an ordinary ending.
This is obvious, and the think tank should be able to deduce it as well.
A perfect ending would likely require bringing all the demons back to the human world, but this would also necessitate preventing conflict between humans and demons. This would involve revisiting the situation before the demon realm existed. The king of demons at that time was not Shuten-dōji, but Nurarihyon. Therefore, if a chosen one wants to achieve the perfect ending, they must work on Nurarihyon's side.
However, there's still one problem to solve for a perfect ending: how could a powerful Onmyoji, capable of sealing away demons, possibly accept peaceful coexistence with them...?
Is it really possible for a chosen one to perfectly clear this dungeon?
Yin Zhu rolled over, deciding not to waste her brainpower on this. What did a perfect clear have to do with her? She wasn't planning on clearing this dungeon anyway.
By now, Yin Zhu felt that she had provided Blue Star's think tank with enough experience to overcome the challenges.
The rest is her own private matter.
Just as Yin Zhu was drifting off to sleep, a series of urgent knocks on the door interrupted her sweet dream.
Who is it?
Yin Zhu snapped back to reality, swallowing back the words that were already on the tip of her tongue.
The roommate closest to the door got out of bed, lit the candle in the dormitory, and opened the door in the flickering candlelight. He turned sideways, bowing and scraping, waiting for the person outside to come in.
It was a fleshy monster with a somewhat irregular body.
Yin Zhu watched as she walked to her roommate's bed opposite hers, said "Your work is unqualified," and then suddenly grabbed the head of her roommate who was still trembling. It seemed that some liquid was spraying out from between her fingers. Then, she threw the baby-faced roommate into a sack and dragged her away.
4. When a ghost is taken away by the palace steward, please do not take any unnecessary actions, such as trying to stop it.
Yin Zhu certainly wouldn't stop her.
She would only glance at the time in the dormitory; it was past 9 PM, after the palace steward had finished inspecting the work.
My poor baby-faced roommate seems to have failed in his job and was taken away by the palace steward. I don't know where he'll be taken.
This place is indeed dangerous.
Yin Zhu shook her head, trying to forget everything she had just seen, to avoid dreaming about unpleasant scenes that might affect her mood at work the next day.
