Alice was looking up her own data when she heard Cheng Zhu's words. She was both angry and amused, and poked Cheng Zhu's forehead: "Why don't you ask your AI, Ya, instead of Ya?"
Cheng Zhu suddenly realized what was going on and immediately contacted his AI, Ya. He didn't notice that Alice was shocked for two seconds, clearly not expecting Cheng Zhu to actually ask. Then she clutched her stomach and burst into silent laughter.
Ya frowned slightly. After all, it was just a general-purpose AI, and its database access wasn't that high. After thinking for a moment, it said, "The secret hidden in the archives... This is a rather subtle setting. Generally speaking, this type of secret is usually related to a specific plot line or mission. You need to find clues in the records in the archives, and then complete certain tasks or meet certain conditions to obtain this secret. This secret might be a puzzle, a hidden item, or a special mission."
After hearing these nonsensical words, Cheng Zhu looked at Alice with a sense of helplessness.
"This is very much like artificial intelligence."
Alice is referring to the nonsense part, since AI is best at talking nonsense, and from this perspective, they are indeed experts.
Mary had returned to normal and came back to the two of them with her data: "Have you found it? I've found mine. The data in the archive is arranged by year and first letter, so it's quite easy to find."

Cheng Zhu remembers that computers were like that too.
Since he had no clue what to do, Cheng Zhu had no choice but to start looking for his own data, hoping to find something useful along the way.
As the name suggests, the archives room is filled with nothing but archives. There are data archives of individual people, cultural archives of human civilization, various lost skills, and various secret recipes. All the data is visualized on sheets of paper and stored in this room.
Does this place really hold any secrets? And they want to destroy those secrets? They can't just burn the entire archives down, can they?
Even a fool could imagine that if she made such a dangerous move, the black-robed mastermind would immediately eliminate her as a dangerous individual. The "Smart City Artificial Intelligence and Human Harmonious Coexistence Convention" clearly states that "humans shall not damage or tamper with any artificial intelligence-managed systems or equipment." She dared to set fire to the archives, but the other party could erase the data from the flames with a snap of their fingers; they were simply not on the same level.
After Alice obtained her data file, she stopped searching for anything else and instead sat on the ground, deep in thought.
When Chengzhu and Mary had no other options, they returned to Alice's side, intending for the three of them to get together and discuss what the third rule really meant.
"Is everyone here?"
Alice looked up and saw the two of them holding her data files. She then stood up, dusted off any dust that might have been on her legs, and approached the black-robed mainframe: "The secret hidden in the archives must be the truth of this world, right? We are all data-driven beings, and this world is inherently a virtual world."
Cheng Zhu was taken aback: "Huh?"
The reason they couldn't find any clues was that Alice had already given them away, so they hadn't even considered that possibility.
For the first time, Cheng Zhu felt the darkness under his own nose.
The black-robed mainframe nodded: "Before you leave, please destroy your personal data and re-enter it before your next login. Otherwise, after you leave, the Smart City will re-simulate your personalities based on the remaining files and put them into the world to fill the original gaps."
Simply put, it involves creating an AI personality that highly simulates them and replacing their original position in the world.
Combined with the black-robed mastermind's statement about "resimulating personalities," it's essentially a pirated version replacing the original. They might even be mistaken by the system for cloned viruses when they return... If the original is mistaken for a pirated version, that would be a real mess.
Although there are only three rules, each one is very important and even hides dangers that could have serious consequences.
Cheng Zhu was still a little unaccustomed to everything being resolved so quickly.
Cheng Zhu was still a little dazed when the black-robed mastermind opened a door filled with white light and informed them that the tests were complete, that they had no virus on them, and that they could leave. He hadn't expected it to end so quickly.
Mary stepped out first.

The black-robed AI looked at Cheng Zhu, who lingered there, and sensed her very complex emotions.
Chengzhu thought about it carefully for a moment, and finally asked a question that she was curious about but not that important: "Um... can I see what you look like?"
"I have no appearance, and I can have any appearance. I can be any gender, any race, any appearance. None of this means anything to me. Appearance is just to make it easier for you to focus your attention on me. But if you are really curious, please be prepared." The black-robed mastermind began to pull out bold "High Energy Ahead" signs, and finally, as it removed its hood, its empty clothes were revealed in front of Cheng Zhuo.
Just as the black-robed mastermind said, it has no physical form; its appearance is merely a tool to attract attention. Suddenly, the empty robe was blown up by a gust of wind from who-knows-where, thus telling the three that it has always used only one black robe as its vessel.
Alice smiled and tilted her head to look in the direction of the black-robed mainframe: "Then can you give me some praise? You guys are great."
The black-robed AI: "...Your request is strange." It had always been responsible for handling humanity's various needs, helping them with many things they were too lazy to do, or analyzing human thoughts using data; it rarely used its abilities for its own benefit. They were supposed to continuously improve themselves, using everything they had to help humanity, thus realizing their life's value.
