Chapter 95 Nightmares

Judging from the reactions of the children around her, Yin Zhu suspected that this scene was not the first time it had happened, but it was a rare and unexpected event.

Each child tried to close their eyes, as if they were afraid of something.

Immediately afterwards, Yin Zhu heard a "splashing" sound, the kind of sound that only something moving in the water could make. Then, the source of the sound became more noisy, as if something was cleaning the ground, and the sound of the object repeatedly sliding across the water was particularly clear.

Cleaning?

Yin Zhu glanced instinctively at the source of the sound, then quickly closed her eyes and pretended to be dead.

It was a person dressed as a cleaner.

The person didn't notice Yin Zhu's subtle actions and continued wading through the water to clean the nursery until an hour later when he finally left, allowing everyone who was on edge to relax.

The afternoon nap time is from 12:30 to 2:00 pm, at which point there is still half an hour of rest time.

A little while later, the two teachers arrived, looking visibly tired after the teaching seminar.

It was almost time to get up, so they hurriedly woke the children, made sure each child was dressed and put on their shoes, and took them back to the classroom for self-study.

Free time in kindergarten isn't always about going out for exercise. Right now, Teacher Xiao and Teacher Zhao have prepared many games to interact with the children, but unfortunately, no normal "child" is willing to engage with them.

The two teachers didn't mind, saying it was voluntary. In the end, only a few "silly kids" from the class signed up and played with the teachers.

What follows is a process that Yin Zhu is very familiar with, so there's no need to elaborate.

After dinner, it was the usual time for a walk to digest the food. Teacher Zhao originally wanted to take the children to the small square between the teaching building and the dormitory building, but the older teachers and their children beat them to it. So, in the end, the little ones from the younger class had to go to the small park instead.

Taking this opportunity, Yin Zhu came to the small pond again, looked at the calm water, and asked in a low voice, "Where did the kindergarten take you? I haven't been able to find you or the phone since I shrunk."

Ripples appeared on the water's surface, eventually coalescing into the shape of young Yin Zhu.

However, this reflection carried a sinister smile, completely different from the feeling Yin Zhu himself gave off.

If Yin Zhu looks more harmless, then this reflection is completely like a born villain, exuding all sorts of evil aura.

Yin Zhu knew that this was a mirror illusion.

Are you mainly looking for your phone?

Jing Gui spoke sharply, coldly looking at the heartless woman who had abandoned her.

"How could that be? Of course I'd care about you first."

Yin Zhu would naturally not admit it.

Even though her main purpose in looking for Jing Gui was indeed to find her phone, otherwise it wouldn't be convenient to check the time, Yin Zhu also believed that she herself was very concerned about Jing Gui.

The Mirror Demon clearly didn't believe him, and his eerie smile became even more radiant and twisted.

"Okay, in the principal's office."

"I suspect you're trying to kill me." Yin Zhu saw through Jing Gui's little trick.

After all, the Mirror Ghost's resentment was no longer concealed at this point.

"You should reflect on why you acted without my permission." Mirror Ghost's eerie smile instantly turned into indignation. "You were the one who turned into a child without informing me first. Isn't it normal for me to cooperate passively now?"

"Alright, alright..."

Yin Zhu really wished she had the pink talent, but she didn't know if that emotion-related talent could work on the strange creature.

Seeing her perfunctory response, Jing Gui became even angrier:

"Hao Xun, you're playing with fire!"

After saying that, the lake surface suddenly returned to normal, just like when Mirror Ghost refused to chat with Yin Zhu in the temporary apartment. Even with a new vessel, Mirror Ghost's methods remained the same.

Despite being rebuffed by the Mirror Demon, Yin Zhu wasn't too disappointed, as she still had many plans to make.

After their outdoor playtime ended, the children had to return to their dormitories to prepare for sleep. After all, as the staff handbook states, getting enough sleep is very important for children.

Thinking about her plan to skip class for tomorrow's class meeting, Yin Zhu felt a little excited.

Yin Zhu was always considered a good kid on the surface when she was on Blue Star. She basically never skipped classes. She was only late for class and never left early, so the idea that she skipped classes was nonsense.

Although Yin Zhu didn't pay much attention in class during college, she always had perfect attendance, and no matter how badly she did on a test, the teacher was willing to give her a passing grade.

After all, for Yin Zhu, there was no difference between playing on her phone in the dormitory and playing on her phone in the classroom.

The only difference might be that playing in the dormitory makes it easier to miss attendance roll call.

Just as Yin Zhu was too excited to sleep and was lying on her small bed lost in thought, a familiar sound of footsteps came from the corridor outside the dormitory.

Immediately, the entire kindergarten fell into a deathly silence.

Even though Yin Zhu didn't have a talent for pink, she could sense that all the children in the room were in an unusually tense state, as if they were afraid of the cleaning lady outside the door.

Yin Zhu remained silent as well.

Kindergarten children cannot read, and rules are passed down orally. So if everyone does the same thing, it means that being different means breaking the rules.

This is experience accumulated by children through blood and tears.

Even if the chosen one is unaware of the rules, given the atmosphere, the chosen one is destined to realize the rule.

Moreover, Yin Zhu knew.

When Yu Taozi and Yin Zhu were whispering to each other earlier, they mentioned several rules that she had learned from the children.

Don't pay attention in class.
